Good location for airport travellers but not so good for dining opportunities away from the hotel. Room was spacious and comfortable. Bathroom also roomy and nicely appointed, although we did not like the shower over the bath. The biggest negative was room service margarita pizza we ordered. It came within 20 minutes but was dry, tough, overcooked and not at all appetising. A big fail.

I had my dinner in the hotel restaurant last night. The chicken terrine tastes like rubber pickles and the garlic bread is salty as hell, for which I would like to thank the chef for adding the salt like it’s totally free. A nice couple sitting next to me concluded, “Good service, but sh*tty food”, and they also encouraged me to complain this to the manager. That’s part of why I decide to complain here, but more importantly, to tell more people not to choose their restaurant, and order a freaking Uber eats instead.

Booked this place because it was close to the airport. Hotel itself is very nice, clean and full of great amenities. Customer service was superb and available 24/7. Not the greatest location if you need to go to the airport early in the morning. It's about a 15-20 minutes walk

Very close to Mascot Station which is only two stations away from the Central Station. There are local provision stores and reasturants nearby and a quiet community.

This was the first time I stayed at this Ibis near the airport. Comparing with other Ibis that I stayed before, the location was not convenient at all for my trip. I would choose those near CBD next time. Thanks.

The warmth with which we were greeted upon arrival was only the beginning of our enchanting journey. Despite it being a busy weekend, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and hassle-free. Their genuine interest in our well-being, coupled with their attention to detail, made us feel truly pampered. Our room, a serene haven, was tastefully decorated, blending modern amenities with subtle touches of elegance. A sweeping view of the city skyline against the setting sun from our window was simply mesmerizing, adding an extra layer of magic to our stay. The cleanliness and peaceful ambiance of the room were second to none, contributing to our restful nights. Evening walks in the hotel's serene gardens, imbued with the soft scent of blooming flowers, brought us closer to nature and each other. Meanwhile, the sleek, tranquil spa with its range of rejuvenating treatments further elevated our stay. Our experience at The Elysium was indeed a magical escape, made even more special by the fact that we shared these wonderful moments together. A great spot to stay overnight on route to/from the airport. Wilson transfer crew operate from here which makes the transfer to the airport which ever terminal you need very easy. Breakfast is good, and there is a bar in the foyer for late night arrivals. The checkout time of 11am is also great. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The location is near to Mascot Station and Bus station. Convenient with shops, restaurants (even late at night you can grab something to eat), coffee shop, laundry shop and convenience store where you can buy essentials. The reception is quick and not much conversation, just transactional. The room has some kitchen stuff that you can use (toaster, microwave, kettle, and utensils). No amenities that we tried, no pool.

I resist writing reviews but had to make an exception. I have stayed in Moxy’s in New York and loved them. I walked there quicker than getting out of the car park station. Stepped into the lobby and it reminded me how dated everything else is. I used the Hotel as work base and it worked perfectly with plenty of private spaces to make calls etc. I didn’t use the meeting rooms but probably would next time. Another highlight was discovering the very close Mascot village, with cool cafes, cheap eats and apparently one of Sydney’s best banh mi’s (Hong Ha) where I joined the queue. At last I have a cool Sydney Airport stay.

The hotel was perfect for our early morning check in. The room was very comfortable, it’s just steps away from Terminal 1 and the runway view is great to watch the planes. We walked across the evening before our flight and had a lovely meal and looked around the terminal shops. If you prefer to stay in the hotel there is a restaurant there. The gym is very well equipped and is open 24 hours. I definitely highly recommend this hotel.
