Primland Resort, Auberge Resorts Collection

Husband and I came for a weekend baby moon. Starting with the good: service was great from the bartenders to wait staff and event coordinator. Hotel is absolutely beautiful and so much to do! The bad, the room: The room was a little bit run down, shower door rubber was completely falling off and kept having to reattach it. Woke up around 3am to a noise we couldn’t figure out. After turning the lights on we saw a mouse in the bathroom that started running all over our room. Called the front desk and was told by Kristin that there wasn’t maintenance around but she could call them, but wasn’t sure what else to do. My husband ended up having to kill it (gross) so it would stop running around the room. Our room was also located above the kitchen/restaurant. We ended up packing our bags and checking out around 4:30am since the mouse incident. Note that there is not 24 hour valet or someone working the gates so we had to get our car, and then got stuck trying to exit the north gate. When we checked out we were told that someone from management would be giving us a call about the mouse situation but haven’t heard anything yet. Definitely expect better conditions for the cost of the hotel, and the fact that I have never seen a mouse in hotels that aren’t 5 stars like this. I will say outside of the room situation we did enjoy our stay, but probably wouldn’t return.

The staff went above and beyond to make our time at the resort magical and memorable. It was my husband’s birthday and they made each day special for him. I was actually shocked at how friendly, personable, and helpful the staff was at each and every part of the resort we went to. Rani was amazing and made our stargazing time unforgettable! Our RTV guide, I think his name was Travis, was equally amazing. He took us to amazing sites, took our picture, and talked with us the whole way. He was so very sweet and made our time comfortable and fun! On our last day, we did Archery with Austin and OMG I can’t rave about him enough! It was an activity I really didn’t want to do, but booked it for my husbands Bday and to my surprise, I had a blast! That was solely due to Austin! He took us through each station and took his time getting us familiar with each activity. Once that was done, he let us pick the one we wanted to practice at. I chose archery because I just could not figure out how to hit the target. He was the best instructor and was so patient and funny that I felt okay steeping out of my comfort zone to try something new. By the end of the session, I was hitting the target every time! The staff also took into account our love for privacy and made all our activities private which was amazing! They also gave us a surprise picnic at the barn which was seriously delicious and I have been looking for the crackers served ever since! The Celestial room was just as advertised and one of the nicest rooms we’ve every stayed in and we have traveled around the world. With that in mind, we have never encountered the level of customer service we found at Primland Resort, absolutely top notch! From the porters, to the check in staff to room service staff, etc. everyone was amazing! It really feels like a family atmosphere and the staff seems genuinely happy to work there. They all seem to know you by name and make you feel like you are the only guests there. We are already planning our next trip but this time we are taking our adult children. Thank you Primland staff!!

An amazing experience! Gorgeous views; top-notch, personal service; delicious and unique menus; and one-of-a-kind outdoor activities in a beautiful, pristine setting. We were truly treated like we were the only guests at the resort. Of note, Wendi, Leif, Maddox, and John the restaurant manager were especially friendly and helpful. Highly recommend, and we will definitely be back!!
