Hotel berhampiran Pankeng Scenic Area, Meizhou

It is a very beautiful hotel, and the front desk people were super nice. My room and the dining room were immaculate, and the food was delicious. There was a big selection for breakfast, and everyone was very polite, friendly, and helpful. Their pool wasn't open either, and I wish I had known that ahead of time. Even though it was 95 degrees, 90 degrees, or 20, 28, 29, or 33 degrees, it was still closed, most likely since it is only April. The only thing bad that would prevent me from returning to this hotel until it was fixed is the room carpeting. The carpet in the room was horribly dirty. (I wish they, or any other hotel, didn't have carpeting, and had solid flooring instead) Everything else about the room and the bed was comfortable. I wish they had real cotton linen, but it was clean, and the bathroom was super nice. I would come back again for sure, except for the carpeting.

The hotel condition is good and clean. We booked a few family rooms and all of us are pleased with how much space there was. Staff were helpful and friendly. My kids love the robot service to deliver toilet paper and coffee. Will definitely book this hotel if we come to Meizhou again.

We are very satisfied with the quality and service provided by the hotel. Food was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. We washed our clothes quite late and the staff said we can just leave it there and they will do the rest, the next morning our clothes were washed, dried and folded. Definitely will come again and recommend to others

Great hotel with a unique atmosphere. The hotel is very well located, making it easy to explore Meizhou. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The lobby decoration is especially beautiful, with impressive carved stone pieces that give the place a distinctive and refined character. A very pleasant stay overall.

The scenic merge suite is modern, new and clean. We enjoyed staying in the rooms as everything was perfect and comfortable. The only downside for this room is there is no en suite bathroom hence all 4 of us would need to share the common bathroom. There's a mall opposite the hotel, very convenient for food and leisure.

The room was clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Great location, with all the attractions nearby.

One of our favourite stays was at White Swan Guest House. We had the most amazing experience from the staff. September 2024 We traveled to Meizhou from Shezhen. Being from Australia with limited communication we struggled to get a DiDi not realising we were in the wrong town wanting a long trip. We contacted White Swan hoping they could help us get transport. The lovely ladies Alice and Anna made every attempt to get us a DiDi so late at night and they had a friend who was able to get us from the train station. Once he was at Meizhou train station and couldn’t locate us. Alice suggested we share location on WeChat. it was then that we all realised we were in the wrong town. We had accidentally got off the train at the station before Meizhou, Xingningcun Alice & Anna were so kind and offered to help find us accommodation for the night as it was already midnight. We didn’t really want to because it will interfere with our schedule but there were no more trains.  The ladies understood and  said they could ask her DiDi driver friend but no guarantee as he had finished work for the night. She asked if he would be willing to travel the 1.5 hours to Xingning South Railway station at 1am to come get us. Which would actually have him driving for 3 hours for us. It was a late night but we are so grateful that they tried so hard to communicate with us and make us feel safe and cared for. He was wonderful and because of his kindness we reached out to him many times during our stay. The staff especially Anna and Alice were amazing. Thank you for making our first visit to China a memorable experience. The rooms were perfect, clean and comfortable. September 2025 Because of the 2024 experience, we have chosen to stay at White Swan Guest House. They continue to go above and beyond, and it was great to reconnect with Alice again.

Very conveniently located. Right opposite a bus terminal. We boarded bus no. 18 from the Mei Zhou West station to this terminal. The hotel is right opposite the bus terminal. Across the street, you can also find a lot of shops. Just continue walking for about 10-15 minutes to reach the popular pedestrian street: JiaYing Old street. The nearest bus stand (not the bus terminal) which is less than five minutes walk diagonally opposite the hotel will allow you to catch the bus to the Hakka museum. It is worth going to the Hakka museum to have a in depth understanding about the Hakka clans in this part of the world. The other interesting place to visit is NanKou, Hakka villages where you can see Hakka Dragon houses or Wei Long Wu. Buses#9 and #24 travel to and fro Mei Jiang city and NanKou village. The hotel room is clean, sound-proof, spacious and comfortable. The front desk staff are generally helpful except one whom we met during the day shift. She seemed to be reluctant to help us when we asked about the local attractions. And unlike the other hotels that we have been staying in, we were told that we will be charged 3 yuan for one extra bottle of water. But later they still gave us two extra bottles without any charges. Thank you.

The service was good. The hotel staff were very friendly even if we had a language barrier. (My fault of course not theirs). The bed was extremely comfortable I enjoyed it and the room was large. It was such a romantic room. The Wi-Fi is amazing and fast. The room had good noise cancellation. I only heard people if they were right outside my door but I couldn't hear anybody if they were in their room. I loved the layout of the room very cozy. Delivery always came to my door if I ordered from ******* so that was convenient.  The negative thing I could say was that if someone was smoking in the room below me it traveled upwards to my room. It was nasty smell. But the room smelled amazing when I first got there. It's only if other guests are smoking below the room is where it travels upward. I don't think that is something they can control so I didn't mind it much. It isn't close to the tourist areas so you either have to get a Didi or walk about 20 minutes.  Overall: I liked it and I would stay again. 

Had a great stay. Room was spick and span with facilities well maintained. Lobby staff were helpful when a personal request was made. Lots of food nearby with a supermarket as well along the same street
