酒店房間復古有趣，距離火車站步行10分鐘之內，周邊很多步行可以抵達的景點，附帶酒店附近一些餐廳，口味還不錯，總體非常推薦

地毯對行李箱非常阻礙，不小心就會跟行李箱一起仆街，接待人員似乎沒什麼熱情。

O parador é um ponto interessante para passar uma noite. Não esquecer que não é um hotel. O estacionamento e o pequeno-almoço são à parte, sendo que os preços são exorbitantes. No entanto é muito cómodo o carro ficar num parque coberto com espaços aceitáveis. Os funcionários são simpáticos. A localização da piscina não é a melhor, sendo que no período da tarde não apanha sol. O jardim é engraçado. O quarto é normal. A cama é confortável. Os atoalhados estavam limpos. Experiência não memorável, apesar de ser uma cidade muito gira de se explorar!

El Parador no puede estar mejor situado, en pleno centro y a unos 10-15 minutos caminando de los principales monumentos y del Teatro. La piscina es pequeñita, pero se agradece en las tardes de calor. El Restaurante maravilloso y todo el personas super amable. Volveremos sin duda.

Todo perfecto, como siempre

We used this as a stop over as we motorcycled across Spain and Portugal. Very clean, and welcoming with an ample breakfast option. An impressive and traditional building with stunning rooms. Food was delicious and the staff were very attentive. We didn't venture out but stayed in with the bar staff looking after us. Secured parking is available but a bit pricey.

This was the first stop in a tour around Extramadura and Western Andalucia. We found it very easy to find with a properly programmed SatNav – straight in. Also having driven in Spain we realized car park accesses and parking places are sometimes restrictive but we had no problem gaining access (the offer of a Merc at the car hire was declined and we were glad many times over!). Yes there is a charge but your car is safe, off the street and not continually baking hot. As has been mentioned the hotel is undergoing some form of upgrade – this did not impact on us at all apart from the need to use the back entrance. Check in was easy and the staff were efficient and polite – answering questions in our garbled Spanish. Check out was similarly very easy. The room we were allotted was very big. All of the furniture was dated by functional (normal in many Paradores). The bed was extremely large – not sure what is beyond Super King Sized but we had it. It was very comfortable. The bathroom facilities were large (every hotel we stayed in provided twin wash hand basins. Our one slight down tick would be the shower in a bath which can be slippy – it was however powerful enough. Standard nice Parador toiletries. The room was kept clean during opur stay and all work finished by siesta time! Breakfast was plentiful and very fresh. Hot food is provided if you ASK. Eggs in various varieties and bacon. We got tea without any queries. Lovely helpful staff. Interestingly we visited some of the recommended city restaurants on our first day/night and noted prices of certain item (eg Iberico Cheeks etc). On our second day we checked the in house restaurant prices and were taken aback that they were markedly cheaper (plus a damn site more local). Parador restaurants have not let us down in the past and this was no different – tasty, hot, politely served good quality food and not bad for local choices in small dishes and wine. Yes the hotel is a bit tired (hence 4 stars) but it functions nicely as a city centre hotel – with parking. I would use it again.

Excellent location for visiting all the sites in Merida. The Romain remains are a must see. Food at the Parador was of a high quality. Portions are enormous!

Very disappointing...whilst the location is good, with much to explore, visit and discover...the stay was not positive.

Our memories are better than ours experience now. Many things are related to the renovation. In the future that will be better ( I hope so )

The parador is being refurbished which doesn't impact on your stay apart from the fact that you have to use the car park entrance to enter and leave by foot. If you have difficulty in walking far this adds quite a few hundred metres to any excursion. The room was fairly standard with large twin double beds which are on the firm side, the bathroom was equipped with a walk in shower, ideal for someone with mobility issues. The cold breakfast buffet is good, you can also order hot food at no extra cost and the coffee was excellent. The lift nearest our room was not in use as l assume it led from the area being refurbished. The staff we met were friendly and helpful, although speaking a little Spanish smooths the way!

This is a very average high priced hotel. Parador prices with none of the charm of other Paradores we have visited.

Fantastic location for all the Roman sights & town. Room was large with a sofa & chair & comfortable beds & clean, nice view over the front garden. Very enjoyable stay & a lovely town.
