There are two Hampton Inns in this area nearby each other. One is this one, and a few exits west is one in Nampa. I have stayed in the one in Nampa on more than one occasion, but this year, I opted for the one in Meridian because it's cheaper than the one in Nampa. Evidently, they built an arena near the one in Nampa and are taking advantage of that by increasing the price. The difference in pricing is $80-$100, so of course I chose Meridian, since I did not have to be in Nampa. I requested a room far away from the elevator in order to get less noise. Usually works. The room was unusually small for a room with one queen bed in it, but that was okay, I'm just sleeping there. There was only one caveat for this room. It is next to an HVAV (air conditioning) mechanical room, so there was a low, mechanical vibration/hum on and off all night, but I got used to it. (Pretend you're on a starship by the engines.) As for everything else, it met my expectations for a Hampton Inn. Breakfast was good, it was otherwise quiet, housekeeping was immaculate, and service was friendly. Also, the lobby is connected to the second floor by a spacious stairway, in addition to the elevator. I would recommend this place.
