Let's start off with the Pros because this section will be short. - Hotel was very clean and staff was professional. Now the Cons 1 - Hotel is far from the ”Venice” that everyone wants to visit about 15 bus stops which stops running at 7pm. At that point you have to take the train (which also stops at midnight) and walk 10-15 minutes in a scetchy industrial neighborhood. Even though Italy is”relatively safe”...It definitely feels unsafe when walking off the bus and train. The streets are dirty, vandalized, and the hotel is by bunch of abandoned factories it can feel like you are going to get mugged when coming back late. 2 - NO taxi or Uber! While you can hire private car companies, it's not very convenient for last minute decisions, such as maybe going out to eat. We used a company called connectotrasfers.com to get back to the airport. They're reliable and will come pick you up on time. 3- NO FOOD CLOSE BY! Absolutely no restaurants, or grocery stores near by. The hotel has breakfast but that's pretty much it. Closest place to eat is about 15 minutes away walking, same with the grocery store in the same scetchy direction as everything else. Oh and also no mobile food delivery places, so plan your meals accordingly. 4- Closest ATM is about a 15 minute walk from Hotel, keep this in mind as the hotel will only sell you transportation tickets for the bus with Euros, no Credit card. 5- Very spotty WiFi. 6- No Iron in room 7- No coffee, tea, or water in room. Overall if you just need a place to crash this place is clean. But if you are staying in town for a few days these simple inconveniences can become a problem so don't have expectations of a regular hotel, and be prepared for you are getting. This is more like a clean motel, not hotel. Modern day hotels have shuttles when they are located in the middle of nowhere, a restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, room service. A iron in your room, a coffee maker, reliable WiFi, and a ATM in the lobby.
