Hotel 3 Bintang di Mestre

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Paris. Very cozy, clean and comfortable room. I slept like a baby after touring all day. Very close to the train station which was great for me. It’s also only a 15-20 bus ride to Venice island. As much as staying on Venice island would be nice, this was so much more convenient and economical, especially if you are on a time and money crunch. Customer service was excellent from this family run hotel. David was incredibly kind and hospitable. Totally recommended!

Great location next to the train station and bus stops - 10-15 min to Venice, frequent trains. There is an airport bus stop as well. In the other direction 10 min walk to a big Spar where you can buy anything, including hot meals and good coffee at the entrance. Room not so modern, but clean. Nice bathroom, hot water and good water pressure all the time. Mini-fridge with no freezer was a bit weak, yet still convenient. Welcoming, helpful stuff. Awful bed spoiled the whole impression, honestly. For us personally it might be a deal breaker if to stay here again. If your room faces the road it's noisy early in the morning when the traffic and renovations nearby start.

The location of the Hotel is a plus, because it is near bus stops and a few minutes walk from the train station going to Venice proper. The breakfast buffet was okay, could add more choices but nonetheless we enjoyed our stay. Kudos to the night shift receptionist (forgot his name) who was very helpful and was able to book us a taxi for our early morning flight. Would definitely recommend 👍

Удобная локация в паре мирут ходьбы от вокзала. Неплохие завтраки. На этом плюсы заканчиваются. В номере нет ни шкафа, ни полочек, ни крючков (включая ванную комнату), вещи разместить негде. Пара плечиков и полочка. Про холодильник, сейф и воду в номере я уже молчу, слава богу, что хотя бы окно открывается.

When we arrived we realised that all the previous reviews were correct. The area is not safe at all and there are men hanging around on the corner of the hotel for hours on end. I know this isn’t the hotels fault, however, there’s no extra security in place and hotel reception staff aren’t 24/7. On the 3rd night, due to there not being aircon, we had to leave the window open (these windows open 2 different ways - like a normal window or a safety way where only the top opens towards the room). At 3.30am we were woken up to an intruder who was trying to break into our room through trying to open the window from the outside by using a metal screwdriver to open it. We had to shout, scream and push the door shut and as two ladies in a room we couldn’t get back to sleep. There was no phone in the room to contact reception, which wouldn’t have mattered anyway as there was no one around. It was horrible & when we tried to tell the lady at reception the next day, she didn’t do anything, just said she’d check the cameras like she didn’t believe us. We were in such a hurry to leave the hotel. We were in a room separate from the main hotel, down the road, which looked like old council flats. The room itself is very basic. Nothing in the mini fridge, our window was broken on the first day and we had to wait 30 minutes for a handy man to come and fix it. We only got one pillow and even though we asked for another one, we never got it. The beds were really hard and our bedding wasn’t changed, just made everyday. The shower was exceptionally small but it was powerful. you can hear every single thing that happens in the rooms next door. We were woken up by people showering in different rooms at 6am. The breakfast is very dissatisfying. There are two sittings - on our first day the breakfast lady refused us entry as our names hadn’t been put on the sheet where you have to say which sitting - an error by the reception staff as we had booked the night before. The breakfast itself had all ran out by the time we were able to sit down. 1 bit of cheese left and no fruit. Very basic so we decided to get breakfast out the next day. As there are no reception staff, we couldn’t check out before 8am, however we had to be at the airport for 8.30 so we went to reception to hand the key back in. The lady was very rude and told us we should’ve checked out last night? How would we have got into our room? she also was rude and told us that we should’ve booked our taxi the night before too (even though the previous staff who were very helpful said come to reception in the morning. We left feeling very unsafe and worried that we hadn’t been able to check out. We were hoping to speak to the manager but the woman just walked away. It’s such a shame as the younger staff were really helpful and friendly at the start. But it’s not safe - I wouldn’t feel safe on my own and I didn’t feel safe with two of us. It is close to the train station, but you don’t feel safe walking there

Плюсы: 1. Отличное иестоположение - близко к автобусной/трамвайной остановкемдо Венеции, 3 минуты пешком (билеты можно купить на ресепшне отеля). Также вокруг много кафе, удобно. 2. Номера приятные, есть холодильник, кондиционер 3. Отель небольшой, было тихо Минусы не критичные, но все же: 1. На окнах нет сеток, нас кусали комары 2. Кондиционер очень старый и шумный, даже на минимальной мощности. Но мы с ним спали, сильно уставали за день в Венеции) 3. В душевой дверка полностью не закрывается 4. Нам не хватало чайника в номере

La gentilezza e disponibilità dei proprietari . É la prima volta che abbiamo soggiornato, e siamo stati accolti subito con calore , cordialità , professionalità. Alla reception il sig. Massimo è stato molto disponibile , fornendoci indicazioni sugli spostamenti, cosa vedere a mestre ,padova e venezia. Lo scarico della doccia era un po lento nel defluire l'acqua, ma appena l'abbiamo segnalato in reception , è stato subito risolto. Abbiamo acquistato con comodità i biglietti per i Bus che passavano davanti all'ingresso e la posizione dell' Hotel è vicinissima alla piazza principale di Mestre. La colazione è varia ed abbondante e viene servita direttamente al tavolo. La nostra camera non era molto spaziosa, ma fornita di tutto, calda e pulita. Ho apprezzato il cambio degli asciugamani giornaliero. La posizione è strategica anche per chi arriva come noi in Treno. Consigliatissimo per soggiornare e visitare Mestre, molto bella e Venezia e Padova.
