Edgewater Terraces at Metung

Another lovely relaxing holiday at Edgewater Terraces. The villas have everything you could possibly need, are spotlessly clean and most have beautiful water views. Bryan even makes sure there is plenty of kindling and wood for the cosy wood heater. Thanks again Bryan & Vita, you made our stay so much better with your friendly welcome and local knowledge with recommendations of things to do in your beautiful part of the world. We’ll certainly be back again soon.

Attention to detail has had us coming back year after year. The units are well-appointed creating a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Managers Bryan and Rawita are friendly and helpful, but not intrusive at all. The grounds are always kept tidy, the firewood stocks are maintained and the pool area is pristine. Full credit to Bryan and Rawita for making Edgewater Terraces a step above the other accommodations in the sleepy hollow of Metung. It takes a lot of work to maintain such a high standard. And yes, we have stayed at other places in Metung, but not since staying here!

This place is perfect Love it Quiet Spacious Views are amazing Bed omg awesome Bryan was a character funny happy and very helpful. The amenities were perfect pool spa wood bbq washing machine dryer bath. Chef Jo restaurant to eat omg she is a brilliant cook. Pub location is awesome too. I will be back

I can do no better than to echo another reviewer - BELIEVE THE REVIEWS! Edgewater Terraces at Metung are fabulous, Metung is wonderful. A few tips: call Edgewater and see what deal they can offer; make a point of visiting what must be one of Australia's best bakeries (I thought their coffee was average, but their cakes are to die-for and their rolls, sandwiches, wraps and rice-paper rolls are great for lunch); Dinner at the Pub is fabulous (but you must book in advance) as is an Indonesian dinner at Chez Joe; and buy whatever you will need before you travel to Metung because, as was explained to us, 'Metung is expensive'!

Three couples shared a 4BR over the Labour Day weekend and the accommodation was fine. Very spacious in the living areas and plenty of equipment if you want to eat in. The BBQ was handy as well. Ii is a little dated but everything was clean and tidy, bedrooms all a good size and plenty of towels to go around. Centrally located an easy walk into Metung

I was going to write a review about this excellent property, but it looks like so many have got there before me. All I can say is believe it. We (2) stayed in "Grevillea" which is a two bedroom, two storey detached cottage. You can book these at a two person rate because they simply lock off the second bedroom. In Grevillea this spacious bedroom contained two single beds and a built in wardrobe. I know this only because when we arrived the door was still open. The "cottage", with the bedrooms upstairs, was spacious. A recently updated bathroom, separate toilet and a small separate laundry with washer and dryer, all upstairs and spotlessly clean. A reverse cycle AC is situated upstairs above the landing that both bedrooms open off. A cosy living area with reverse cycle AC, wood heater, dining area and a full kitchen equipped for self-catering. Covered balcony decks off the main bedroom and living area and a bbq located in a small private grassed area. Satellite TV/DVD player, which in our case was unused during our off-grid 4 night break. The grounds, outdoor parking spaces and pool/spa areas were maintained within an inch of their lives during our stay. In warmer months the pool area would be a real asset. Had an amazing escape to Edgewater Terraces in beautiful Metung, accommodation was perfect, with plenty of space and all home comforts. Bird life was plentiful too (bird seed provided). The boat jetty could be seen from the balcony. When not using the boat, it was a lovely walk into town along the waters edge. Bryan was a fantastic host too (heaps of great tips and local information). Already planning for next family holiday at this beautiful part of the Gippsland lakes 😊
