Hotel berhampiran ISKCON Mexico City (Hare Krishna Temple), Mexico City

Me encanto el hotel, el servicio es excelente, todo el personal muy amables y serviciales, les agradezco mucho que hayan resguardado el cargador de celular que olvido mi hijo en el lobby. Nos permitieron el ingreso a las habitaciones desde la 1 de la tarde porque había disponibilidad. A mejorar sería que cuando les hagan reservación para 2 personas poner 2 toallas en lugar de 1, que el menú del desayuno tenga más variedad y este surtido, me he hospedado en otros hoteles city express y tienen más variedad en las opciones que ofrecen de desayuno, por ser plus me esperaba algo mejor, pero solo tenían fruta (melón y papaya), leche, cereal, café, jugo verde, jugo de naranja y café, les sugiero que surtan tanto los alimentos como la loza de la barra de desayuno, debido a que luego se termina y no resurten, tiene uno que andar pidiendo las cosas, ojalá pudieran cambiar los vitroleros donde ponen el agua, ya que los que tienen constantemente se tapan y no puedes servirte el jugo.

Un gran lugar para hosped****, la habitación muy amplia, todo limpio, el personal muy amable y eficiente. La vista desde la Terraza es muy bonita.

Pretty good price quality relation. Rooms are spacious and the location is excellent if you have business in the south part of the city. Will definitely repeat.

Excelente servicio! Personal muy agradable. Se agradece que el check out sea a la 13:00 hr. Y te dan minutos extras para que dejes la habitación. Muy recordable! La habitación es amplia.

The hotel is quite convenient. From T1 is a short walk distance and from T2 there’s a shuttle bus every 15min. To get there from T2, you need to exit from gate 4; towards this gate you can find a Camino Real Hotel office. I stayed overnight, which I think is enough. The hotel room is old, with details on the walls specially in the bathroom. The experience was alright.

The Novotel Mexico City Centro Histórico is a new hotel. Its newness shows in any number of ways, both good and bad. First the good: Staff were all friendly. And my room was shiny new and free of signs of wear. Everything in the room worked perfectly. It is true that the room was rather small and that the view was mostly of a blank wall. Since I was by myself and did not spend much time in the room during the day, these latter issues didn’t bother me very much. There were, however, some issues that were also perhaps related to the hotel’s newness. The cleaning staff didn’t empty the wastebasket on the first day and didn’t replenish the Nespresso pods on the second. Perhaps they should start working from a checklist … ? Also, breakfast was only available half an hour later than advertised. And, oddly, only certain guests were offered omelettes. And, as someone who doesn’t eat meat, I was bothered by a cheese-and-luncheon-meat plate on which the cheese and luncheon meat were piled on top of each other. I would also have appreciated labels on the four stew-like dishes on offer—I couldn’t tell what they contained. There is also the issue of billing. When I checked in at 3 p.m., I was asked to pay the entire bill—no problem there. But, when I arrived in my room, I found an e-mail from hotel management informing me that, because the hotel was extra busy, I’d already been charged for day 1. It’s true that I’d opted for a “flexible” rate which required me to agree to pay for the first day whether I showed up or not, but it was a little startling to be charged for a no-show before the earliest possible check-in time—and then charged again when I checked in. It took a week for the double charge to disappear from my credit-card statement. I can’t believe Accor would have approved of this billing procedure. The thing that most bothered me about the hotel was the absence of a minibar. The TripAdvisor website—and also the websites of several booking agencies—all claim that rooms in the Novotel Mexico City Centro Histórico have minibars. The Accor website, I’ll admit, doesn’t. But I guess I’ve come to expect that hotels of a certain class would have minibars. And I missed having one, not for overpriced drinks, but for the groceries I bought. I wasn’t, in other words, very enthusiastic about the Novotel Mexico City Centro Histórico, although I acknowledge that, with a few changes, it could most definitely be turned into a very good hotel.

A lovely, clean hotel, not too far from the airport. Couldn't find much to do locally though. Great restaurant in the hotel was a bonus 👌

Very good location, there’s a swimming pool on the roof top. The interior is a bit old fashioned but okeish. They offer late check out that was super convincing since I had late night flight. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The room itself is small, cleaning is every day, providing 2 bottles of water and coffee bag. Oh and there’s a coffee machine. What I didn’t like - was breakfast. It’s sooo poor, the worst I had for all the travels in my entire life.
