Four Palms Hotel Miami Beach

The property is mediocre. It could be fabulous, but there is so much to fix: The lobby is cold, dark and smells of some terrible disinfectant. Looks unfinished and unwelcoming. Front door always had water pooling around it. The doors to pool area don’t even shut. Seems like a safety issue. The gate to the beach was difficult to get open at times. The elevator made big booming sounds which was very disconcerting. Also a dip in the floor as you come off the elevator made several people trip. The room smelled so strange - like a spray covering up mold? I had to buy an air freshener to be able stay in the room. I did see a clump of something hanging from the ceiling in the bathroom. Not sure if it was mold or dirt? The walls had been painted and the bathroom vanity. Paint slapped on, got on door jamb, side of pics hanging on walls and they painted around the thermostat but left a 3” area not painted around it. Caulk coming off by sink. Deck was nice but pigeons were problematic flying towards us and pooping on furniture. Walls thin and neighbors loud. Hotel in path of airline traffic. Between that and area construction couldn’t even hear the or enjoy the ocean from our balcony. What was good: pool was very nice, room was reasonably clean, beach beautiful, food good but pricey. People nice. Maybe our expectations of an ocean front suite were too high? For us, I’m sorry to say there were too many things wrong for us to consider a return stay.

The front desk staff is well trained and very nice. The restaurant is a hidden gem, excellent service and delicious with plenty of seating. Don't let the front exterior of the hotel concern you, the interior is very nice and they said the outside will be renovated.

Wi-Fi working badly, I had to pay at my arrive 40 dollars a day for the using of sun deckchair and beach towels. When I complained about that I got 100 euros discount. I had to pay to my Italian phone company 300 dollars for using my net connection. The hotel manager was very unfriendly and didn’t help me at all. She should be fired

We stayed at the Radisson Resort Miami December 2024. Sadly we were very disappointed with our stay. On a positive note, the lobby was very well decorated and clean. The rooms were big. And they were gracious enough to hold our luggage until our room was ready. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. We had a pool view handicap balcony room. The pool was visible when standing to the far side of the balcony, the view was of a mud hole. The tv did not work properly and the sound would cut in and out on everyone channel. There were no handicap bars in the bathroom at all. The lock on the door was broken. There was a giant centipede crawling around by the ice machine. And to top it off, this morning we found a cockroach crawling around on the dresser. There were several other trivial matters, but I think you get the gist of it. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.

Amazing view of the beach, nice balcony, the room is spacious and clean, courteous staff, breakfast is delicious!

You arrive at the hotel and you wait a long time for your room (ready after 4:15 pm ) with no info or anything reagarding were to wait even with an empty lobby. No One to return your car when coming Back to vallet when asked the guard in the lobby he did not talk only pointed out to the street. A lot of rain water flood at the varanda open space no drainage… 2 chairs at the empty beach (we are in four ) …. And the history goes on… worst Radisson ever.
