My Wife and I decided to do our own Grand Tour of Italy and Milan was the last city on our list having arrived by train from Peschiera on Lake Garda. This hotel is ideal for a short stay being close to the Railway Station and about 20 minute walk to all the main attractions Milan has to offer. Or room was on the first floor with access to a small balcony overlooking a matured garden area. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a hot and very powerful shower. The breakfast was continental but with an adequate selection of meats, fruit etc; although the area in which breakfast is served is a little small. Without being critical this hotel is ideal for a short break but I personally wouldn’t book if staying more than 3 days. The staff were very friendly and helpful and like the hotel itself just a little quirky. We more than enjoyed our stay in Milan although it can get very busy around the time of the Italian Grand Prix.

I stayed in Hotel Charly for 6 nights in February 2024. The hotel is a short walk from Milan Central Train Station which has a fast and frequent service to Malpensa Airport. The hotel is small and comprises two buildings. My room was in the main block, located on the second floor. Lots of space in the room, very comfortable bed. Lovely bathroom, although be careful there was no anti-slip mate or grab rail in the shower. Continental Breakfast was served in the morning with freshly made coffee available. Please note though the hotel has no lift. The hotel is conveniently located close to the shopping area and local bars/restaurants. Not the hotels fault but the weather was terrible while I was there. I’d recommend the hotel and I’d stay there again.

This is a very charming hotel. We took advantage of all of the amenities. We had a room with a terrace with a garden view. We ate breakfast in the garden. We arranged to park in the private courtyard. It is an older building completely redone. Great rooms, clean with lovely decors. Rooms were perhaps a little small but they were comfortable. Nice bathroom and shower ( that drained!). Extremely accommodating staff. Lovely breakfasts. You are located on the middle of Milan but you don’t hear a thing. Very quiet. Very safe. It is located in what I would call a middle eastern neighborhood because of all the wonderful middle eastern eateries that line the street. Lots of bakeries and gelato and shopping nearby.

Just returned from a lovely trip to Milan for 3 nights where we stayed here. Room was clean & lead out to a lovely seating area. Breakfast was basic but had all you needed. Lovely gentleman on reception throughout night. Only down sides would be the thinness of the walls and listening to next door snoring & a dog wandering around breakfast and being told not to stroke incase it bites - I was a little on edge after. I would still stay again - thank you!

Beautiful small hotel with an elegant touch. Good breakfast in a cozy room, overlooking a lovely little garden inside the hotel. The hotel is very clean and pleasant, great staff, always helpful. It was my second stay in the hotel, I will definitely be back.

Stayed in late June, this little hotel with a wonderful backyard garden was the ideal pied-a-terre in Milan. Right next to the Centrale train station and the metro station, it was very easy to commute in the city. The room was clean and nicely decorated with good bedding, a/c, TV and WiFi connection, the staff was friendly and accommodating, the breakfast very good with Italian coffee and there was the possibility to take it in the garden. The rates were reasonable. I will certainly be returning to Charly Hotel!

This was an excellent experience in Milan, I stayed here for 2 nights with my mother and it was a great stay! The reception was grwat, we were able to leave our suitcases when we arrived; the room was lovely (extremely clean, nocely decorated, recently renovated), the bathroom was very clean and neat. I recommend this hotel as it is a walking distance from the Central Station and a 4-stop ride to the Duomo.

Prima volta in questo Hotel tranquillo e rilassante che si nasconde bene nel caos quotidiano della città. Si raggiunge in pochi minuti a piedi uscendo dalla Stazione Centrale. Proseguendo, dall’altro lato, si arriva in poco tempo su Corso Buenos Aires. È presente un giardino interno che nelle belle giornate aggiunge qualcosa in più al proprio soggiorno. Le ragazze della reception sono state molto gentili e simpatiche. Le camere pulite e vivibili. Possibilità di lasciare il bagaglio anche dopo il check-out. La colazione a buffet, sia dolce che salata, è ampiamente sufficiente. Manca l’ascensore, ma il resto è stato convincente per tenerlo in considerazione al prossimo viaggio.
