My family and I have been staying at Tamarind Tree Garden Resort for the past three years now, for a month each time, and our experience has been nothing but the best. The housekeeping service is exceptional from Sriyani and Anura, the food is always excellent thanks to the two amazing chefs, and the villas are spacious, clean and perfect for extensive or short term stays for both families and/or solo travel. My family and I feel very welcome at Tamarind Tree Garden Resort every year and we highly recommend this resort to all. Special thanks to the general manager, Clemont, and restaurant staff.

I have recently had the delightful experience of a 2 week stay at Tamarind Tree Resort in Minuwangoda, Sri Lanka. The physical surroundings are verdant and well-tended by a team of gardeners with magnificent plantings of tamarind, cashews, avocados, coconut, etc. The huge salt-chlorine swimming pool is superbly maintained and pristine clean, all 9m x 14m and 2.5m deep. I could not resist and was in there daily until my fingers wrinkled! My room was spacious and well-appointed with everything functioning perfectly. Room service was efficient with all requests met. There was a daily spread of most delicious food for breakfast, lunch & dinner, with a variety of tasty interesting local dishes available. Many ingredients were harvested fresh from the garden. All of the hotel staff were friendly, responsive and accommodating of my requests, going out of their way to ensure complete satisfaction. I would highly recommend Tamarind Tree Resort as your choice of stay in Sri Lanka. Cheers .. Jenny SMITH

We spent a week-end at this beautiful and expansive wellness resort. From the moment we arrived until our departure we were treated like VIP guests. The Ayurvedic Dr Anura Bandara was extremely knowledgeable and after the consultation he tailored the massage to what was best for each person. The massage was heavenly and I felt so relaxed and energised. The mainly Sri Lankan food, some of which we tasted for the first time, was delicious and healthy. The staff were so pleasant and attentive, the rooms spacious and beautiful. It was the perfect quick escape week-end from the hectic Colombo life. We will surely go for the longer program in the near future.

I went with my family and 3 other families for 3 nights. This hotel was booked by our friends and I was initially a little disappointed that it didn't have beach access as I can't really see myself enjoying a short holiday if not by a beach as I long for early morning walks by the shore. But I was so pleasantly surprised by this hotel and all its many features. The property is absolutely stunning, with greenery everywhere and you feel like you have been transported to a tropical jungle. The rooms are villa style and massive in comparison to other hotels in this category. We never felt crammped and enjoyed spending time in the little portico area as well. The food is very good and fresh and some of it sourced form their organic garden. There are two ponies thar roam the property which is a nice feature esp for the kids. The staff are friendly and very accommodating and ready to please. I enjoyed early morning walks around the property with and saw many birds and butterflies as well. Their organic garden is also very inspiring and educational esp.for the kids as the staff explain, composting and farm to table concepts. All in all, we all had a fabulous vacation and will definitely return in the future.

We went with a large group of friends and had a wonderful time over 3 nights. Food was tasty and staff was very accommodating. Villas as extremely large and spacious. Beautiful property with a lot of greenery and very close to the airport and convenient to Colombo as well.

It was a very lovely experience. The rooms were specious, staff were friendly. Will certainly visit again. The locality and easy accessibility is great. The garden and the vegetation is great. Entertainment was good. We had a great holiday and we extended one more day with our family & friends.

I wish I had stayed here longer than one night. This was one of my favourite places to stay in Sri Lanka. The gardens are stunning, so peaceful and tranquil. My husband and I treated ourselves at the Ayurvedic in house treatment centre and loved the experience. We were upgraded into a deluxe room which was very well appointed. Our thanks to General Manager - Samantha Gunarathne Ajantha Fernando And Mr Clement for making us feel so welcome.

We recently visited Tamarind Tree Garden Resort Hotel for our annual office outing, and the experience was outstanding. The resort was beautifully organized, making our group feel welcomed and well-catered to throughout our stay. The service was excellent—staff were attentive, polite, and made sure that all our needs were met. The resort itself is serene, surrounded by lush greenery, which added a relaxing vibe to the whole event. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall positive atmosphere. We were impressed by the smooth coordination and attention to detail. Everything from check-in to meals was handled seamlessly, making our office outing truly memorable.
