Tolle Lage im Herzen von Bayreuth! Für das B&B Konzept ein sehr gutes preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Junges, kompetentes und hilfsbereites Hotelteam! Wir waren weit vor der checkin Zeit da und konnten unser Gepäck an der Rezeption sicher deponieren. Als wir dann ins Hotel gekommen sind, war das Gepäck schon auf die Zimmer gebracht worden. Grosser, sauberer, lichtdurchfluteter Frühstücksraum. Aufmerksame Mitarbeiter, die am Buffet sofort nachlegten. Schöne Brötchenauswahl! Fahrräder konnten sicher in einem Fahrradraum im 1. Stock abgestellt werden (Transport mit zu kleinem Aufzug erforderte akrobatische Fähigkeiten) Fazit: sehr zu empfehlen!!

We spent 2 nights at Hotel Rheingold so we could visit the sights. This was our first stay in Bayreuth even though we have ridden the Main bike path two times earlier. The hotel lies one block from the downtown pedestrian zone and one block from the large shopping mall. There is just an easy stroll to the Opera house and to the Neu Schloss. It would be much more of a walk to the Ermitage. The train station is about a 15 minute walk. The hotel has a secure bike parking closet in the basement garage. For cars the €7 daily parking fee seems good compared to other hotels we've stayed at. We were in room 302, a double room with king bed located on a corner of the building. When we arrived we were a bit concerned that the ac wasn't working. But within minutes the maintenance man showed up with the controller and got it up and running. He was evidentally checking the ac units in all the rooms on that floor. Otherwise the room would have been very hot. The room was clean and a reasonable size. The bathroom was also a good size, clean, and there was good hot water. We would have preferred just a shower, no bathtub, but that's just our preference. As others have noted the breakfast was great. There was hot eggs, bacon, sausage, a variety of fresh breads, cakes, and pastries, cereal, yogurts, fruits, etc. Hard to choose the best things to eat. We were quite happy with our stay.

Nice new stylish hotel near the city center and Central Station. Didn't hear any trains in our room. Room and bathroom were nice and clean. Breakfast was good if you don't have a food allergy. I have one (lactose) and the staff didn't understand what this allergy is and therefore they couldn't help me with selecting the food I could eat.

Except for the prices and the parking, which is a bit inconvenient due to the fact that every time you want to go out, you might need to call at the reception, since your car might be at the underground level, no further complaints.

老式別墅洋房，離市中心很近，步行去拜羅伊特音樂節的節日劇院步行約半小時。早餐還行，前台平時沒有人，早餐時才能看到工作人員，屬於寬鬆式管理。

Wir waren wiederholt im First Boarding als Basisstation für den Festspielbesuch. Eine nüchterne, zweckmäßige Unterkunft im positiven Sinne. Die Suite bietet - neben der Kitchenette (wir kochen das Frühstück gerne selbst statt Standardbrötchen mit Standardkonfitüre) - auch einen abgetrennten Schlafbereich, einen Esstisch, ein kleines Sofa (begrenzt gemütlich ;) und eine geräumige Dusche und ein separates WC. Genügend Platz im Kleiderschrank, Zimmersafe, Parkmöglichkeit in der Tiefgarage (auch für fette Karren). Verkehrsgünstig gelegen. Zu Fuß kann man in der Umgebung schön spazieren gehen, ins Grüne oder in wenigen Minuten zu Villa Wahnfried, Liszt-Museum, Neues Schloss / Hofgarten und Altstadt. Empfehlung für alle, die auf Luxus und Butler gerne verzichten und ihre gepflegte Ruh haben wollen.

Reservierung; das erste Mal anscheinend junge Frau am Telefon, die, möglicherweise wegen Unerfahrenheit und/oder Sprachproblemen auch nach mehrfachen Versuchen auch mit Buchstabieren unseres Namens unser Anliegen ( Reservierung eines Zimmers + Garagenplatz ) bestätigen konnte:” morgen erhalten Sie eine Reservierungsbestätigung per mail ) . Die hatte ich bis ca 15.00 des Folgetages nicht erhalten. Habe daraufhin telefonisch i. Hotel nachgefragt. Diese Damen sprach 1.nur Englisch, suchte lange in den Reservierungen, war offensichtlich absolut überfordert. Ich bat darum, mich mit einem deutsch sprechenden Kollegen zu verbinden. Verstand sie nicht. Da dasselbe ein wenig sauer ( das ist doch ein deutsches Hotel, da muss doch jemand deutsch sprechen können ) auch auf englisch . Daraufhin die Antwort: ” you should be a little bit quieter”. Habe aufgelegt und später die Besitzerin per mail kontaktiert, die sich vielfach entschuldigte und den Vorgang mit Personalmangel erklärte. 2. Habe reserviert, weil dieses Haus anscheinend ( auch deutlich preislich ) das erste Haus am Platz zu sein schien, die Beurteilungen in mehreren guides sehr gut waren und das Restaurant u.a. im Michelin ausgezeichnet war. Angekommen grosse Enttäuschung: Restaurant geschlossen seit Wochen. Personalmangel. Ja, Frühstück gibt es, aber sagen Sie bitte wann Sie frühstücken wollen. Ein sauberes, gut ausgestattetes Zimmer und Bad in der 2.Etage .Kein Aufzug. Nur mit Hilfe eines Faktotums, gebrochen englisch sprechend, in Trainingshose mit Turnschuhen zu finden, der war aber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Insgesamt keineswegs 4 Sterne Standard sondern eher eine Hotelkarikatur. € 228.- pro Nacht + 18 € Parkgebühr. Man meint immer, alles schon einmal erlebt zu haben und muss das revidieren. Da hilft nur Humor. Gleichwohl werde ich hier sicher nicht noch einmal buchen.
