Stayed here for 4 nights. Amazing experience. Our room had a balcony overlooking the sea. Great breakfast buffet overlooking the sea each day. The taxi …provided by the hotel….did pick up and drop off to the train station. The pool was wonderful with sea views. We had dinner at the hotel our first night. We got the seafood spaghetti with a bottle of wine. Delicious! The walk up to the hotel will be strenuous for out of shape people or those who don’t walk much. I’m sure those can take a taxi. We walked the trail to Vernazza which was stunning. Lots of ups and downs, steps and is strenuous in spots. Stunning views like the pictures show. Friendly staff everywhere. Enjoyed our stay immensely. Highly recommend.

We only stayed one night here, but thought it was absolutely beautiful. Our room had a private balcony overlooking the water. The hotel property is right near entrance to Cinque Terre trail. The food at the pool was great and so was breakfast. The staff was friendly. We would love to come back.

My wife and I spent two nights at the Hotel Porto Roca. Its a top flight hotel with an absolutely amazing view of the Cinque Terra coastline. The hotel offers a very nice breakfast with seating on the terrace overlooking the sea. The staff of the hotel were great, very helpful. The room was a bit small but comfortable, with a little balcony to enjoy the outside air. The pool area is off the charts with its own unique view down the coast. When we return to Monterosso, our favorite town in Cinque Terra, we will definitely stay at HPR again.

Beautiful location and setting with fabulous views of the surrounding area and plenty of quiet and privacy. It has a resort kind of feel to it which is ideal if you’re wanting to relax and unwind, however it is isolated and can be difficult to get to. The breakfast service was excellent and there are a wide variety of options available to please just about any pallet. The rooms are decorated in a modern and contemporary style which may or may not appeal to a traveler. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall we were more than satisfied with our experience.

I really loved my 2 nights stay. It’s a beautiful hotel, perfect location and has a breathtaking view. Especially from the breakfast room! Stunning. Breakfast was amazing, so much variety and the food was beautiful. The waiters were lovely and provided excellent service. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the main centre of Monterosso, which was great as it would’ve been too noisy staying in there with all the crowds. The hotel provided a free taxi service to pick me up when I arrived at the station which I really appreciated. It also has easy access to the path to hike the 5 towns of Cinque Terre if you wish to. My room had everything I needed and was nice and clean, and I would love to stay at this hotel again. Thank you.

The best hotel we could ever stay at from the gorgeous balcony to the exceptional food and staff! My husband and I were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and we absolutely couldn’t have found a better hotel to stay! The staff was top notch, the scenery out of this world and the people so friendly, kind and helpful! We’ll be back with our young adult kids next year and staying at this beautiful hotel! What an amazing place to stay for vacation in Cinque Terre!! The staff is so helpful and so nice. It is truly a 5-star luxury hotel. The rooms are clean and the location up on the hill is magnificent. We especially want to thank a special staff member named Peter who is a bartender at the hotel bar & by the pool. Peter is so much fun and made such a good atmosphere for our family! Good employees are the absolute best at places like this and Peter is one of them! Thanks again Peter!!

We stayed three nights here in the recommendation of a friend. This hotel is situated overlooking Monterroso Al Mare. Has a great pool with an ocean view. We stayed in a cottage with our own private deck which we enjoyed tremendously for our own private happy hour on evening. It’s a short walk up and down the hill when you want to go into the town but as a result, you feel like you’re far away from any tourists. The staff was incredibly kind and gracious with a special shout out to Albert, Tommaso, and Jarek. The hotel also provide la complementary taxi shuttle to the train station upon arrival and departure. The restaurant is actually pretty nice as we’ ate there on our last night due to the torrential rains and so we didn’t want to go down to the town. Would definitely stay here again as a base of operations in Cinque Terre. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay at the Hotel Porto Roca!! They sent a complimentary taxi to get us from the train station. Showed us to our beautiful room with an amazing view from the balcony & brought us a bottle of champagne & 2 glasses to celebrate our anniversary! Even had slippers for us to wear. The restaurant has a fantastic view, food was excellent, breakfast spread HUGE! The only downside is walking up to the hotel…the climb is steep and very narrow. But doable and there’s a gate onto the hiking path to Vernazza which cuts off some extra steps. Overall, this hotel was worth every penny! We did not swim in the pool but it is lovely & quiet!
