Tui Blue Palm Beach Hammamet

Mon mari et moi avons passé une magnifique semaine à l’hôtel Palm Beach Club. Le personnel est super gentil et serviable . Les chambres sont propres et nous avons bien mangé . Je le recommande

We had a lovely time at this gorgeous hotel over the New Year! The staff were so friendly and kind and as I have mobility issues, they went out of their way to help. The hotel is not yet geared up for those with disabilities, particularly mobility issues and it was a mission to get to the lower ground floor where the main buffet restaurant and the main entertainment bar is located as their is no lift from the reception area or directly down and we had to go a long way around the outside and down a steep, unlit ramp to get there. We hired a wheelchair from an outside company as the hotel wheelchair was broken, as I cannot walk that far, even with my walker and I certainly could not get down the staircase, which was the only other way apart from the ramp outside. There were a few issues with access for those with disabilities such as a broken and unusable disabled toilet on the lower ground floor with the toilet facilities only accessible via a few steps but had no handrails, so this was a mission each time I needed the loo. All this being said I cannot fault the service we received, and I was told by the lovely Maya (hotel guest relations manager) that while the hotel is closed until the summer season, they will be putting in a lift and making the whole hotel more accessible , with a walk in entry to the swimming pool, upgrading the disabled toilets and more handrails where there are ramps and steps. TUI were excellent with the arrangements for the airports, the accessibility to the plane and transfers to and from the hotel. The hotel is gorgeous, really modern and nicely decorated. Our room (407) was immaculately clean, and we had a stunning view across the pool area, beautiful gardens with palm trees and towards the beach and sea. The bed was huge and very comfy and the shower was good with a dispenser for shower gel/shampoo. I took my shower stool with me anyway and there was plenty of room to move around. The room was accessed via a few steps up with handrails so it was not too much of an issue for me. It would be impossible for those with more severe mobility issues so probably best to get a room on a lower level. The food was a bit samey from one day to the next but I think that was because I am wheat intolerant so not much choice but it was delicious nevertheless. Staff were amazing and so kind and helpful. The entertainment was good in the evenings, it was quite low key but very enjoyable. New Year’s Eve celebrations were spectacular and the hotel certainly pushed the boat out with the food and the entertainment and there was a firework display at midnight. It really was the highlight of our holiday and everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy it! Make sure you book for the Culinarium as this meal was fantastic with waiter service and posh wine! I think that once all the accessibility issues have been sorted at this hotel then it would be an absolutely perfect place to spend our holiday and would certainly go back to spend next New Year

This is an honest review of this Tui hotel. I went as a solo traveller although I had family staying at the hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean and inviting. I had a room on floor 2 and had a large balcony over the outside restaurant area. The view was lovely. Comfortable bed, plenty of pillows. Large tv, very large shower, separate toilet. The food was really good. Breakfast consisted of eggs cooked any way you like, tunisian bacon and sausage, choice of breads, croissants, cakes and pastries, cereals, porridge, pancakes, cold meats, cheese, fruit, smoothies etc... Lunch and dinner was very good and not too repetitive. Always a choice of chicken, fish, beef, vegetables, mash, chips, roast potatoes, curry, tunisian dishes, pizza, pasta and salads. The desert table wasn't to my liking but the spread was impressive. Deserts mainly creamy but there was always lots of fruit or ice cream. Coffee was offered after dinner which made a nice change. Nice pool but a bit cold in December to swim. Indoor pool by the spa. The staff.... What can I say, everyone from management down to the ground keeping staff were so happy and welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. There are too many to name and it would be a shame to as many would be left out. I have never stayed at a hotel before where literally every member of staff speaks to you. I have stayed at many TUI hotels but this is one of the best. The spa was good, my only complaint was the appointment before me arrived late and I had to sit and wait quite a while. Treatments were lovely and reasonably priced. The entertainment was good and although there were not many of us in the hotel this week before Christmas they still kept a full programme of things to do. If you do only one thing make sure it's the silent disco, it's hilarious. Fabulous time had and I will definately return next year. Thank you Palm Beach for a really lovely time.

My husband and I had a wonderful break here, for a few days. The hotel is clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The good was good. We were here for 4 days, and there was plenty variety. We also went to the A La Carte restaurant one evening, which was lovely. The hotel's position in the beach is an added bonus. Would not hesitate to recommend. We were blessed with good weather too, which made it the perfect get away from the storms in the uk.

Our 12th visit to Tunisia and around 25 holidays in Egypt and Morocco - we are big north Africa fans for our holidays. Mixed feelings about this hotel. We visited the last week of November and the weather was fantastic. The hotel was very quite which was perfect for us - very chilled out. Very few children which suited us too. The room was newly decorated (level of finish wasn't brilliant in areas), not a big room and the open plan bathroom not our preference. Sadly, service was hit and miss. We have had far better in Tunisia - although some of the staff were brilliant, some were surly and downright rude on occasion. Really enjoyed the food in the Cullinarium (lamb) , however the dining room experience and food was average at best. At dinner time the restaurant stank of fat and grease (lack of extraction?) with slippy floors. Food choices were often poor - fresh fruits, breads were very limited with popular dishes not refilled. Not all bad, the poached egg guy was great on a morning and we enjoyed the food and service in the snack bar at lunchtime the couple of times we tried it. The beach in front of the hotel was covered in seaweed (nothing to do with the hotel) however the hotel's beach area was badly neglected and in a poor state - see photos. Sadly, the beach heading away from the hotel was truly awful - covered in litter, rubbish and debris (not the hotels fault) For us, the negatives outweighed the positives and we look forward to returning to Tunisia in March and April 2025 - but not to this hotel.

Amazing staff, hotel, location. We all had the best time, went for my daughters 18th Birthday, all staff made an special effort to make it an experience we will never forget. Big Thankyou to all staff Luckily whether was fantastic for November this year!
