Hotel berhampiran Bauhausplatz, Munich

Que se puede esperar de un hotel que en las fotos de presentación solo hay floreros , pues nada . Al hotel le quitaría una estrella porque le sobra , más que un hotel es un hostal . Todo estaba roto o estropeado . El desayuno penoso tuvimos que ir a comprar cosas para poder desayunar ya que había cuatro cosas básicas . Pan tierno , un poco de embutido , frutas en piezas tres diferentes , agua y un café malo . Las habitaciones no tenia grifo en el lavabo de agua fría solo salía agua hirviendo , tenían cortinas en vez de mamparas . Las camas no tenían sabanas , ni bajeras ni mantas , solo un edredón para echarnos por encima . Menos mal que la calefacción funcionaba bien porque si no hubiera sido todavía peor . Les pedimos unas sabanas para que nos dejaran y nos dijeron que si pero cuando llegamos por la noche no nos han dejado nada . La recepción del hotel cerraba a las 10 de la noche y tenias que tener tu propia llave para entrar en el edificio. Las mujeres que llevaban el bufé del desayuno eran muy estupidas no te hacían caso y solo chillaban y hacían aspavientos con las manos para que nos apartásemos de su lado . Lo único que estaba bien es la ubicación pegado a la estación de tren y a unos 10 minutos del centro de la ciudad . Yo no lo recomendaría a nadie . Cuando dejamos las maletas hasta por la tarde porque no salía nuestro vuelo, nos las dejaron an la misma recepción si estar guardadas en una habitación cono en otros hoteles

Loved the location and this hostel was excellent value for money particularly with such a good breakfast and free welcome drink included. We arrived early in the morning off the night train and they had no issue at all with us leaving our luggage in the secure store and then coming back at check in time. We had a twin room and was very impressed to have a kettle and coffee in the room

Very good location with the airport express bus stopping right in front of the hotel. Directly opposite Munich central train station. Next door is a small convenience store. Extremely good value for money with room big enough for 4 beds, many power outlets and all bedsides came with bedside reading lights. Has a desk for traveller who needs to catch up with some work. Toilet is well equipped complete with clean towels, heater, hot water & great shower area. Wardrobe is large and this is supplemented by an additional hanging rod beside it. Room had a musty smell when we first entered but this dissipated quickly once we opened the large window to let him fresh (& super cool (cold?) air. Reception gave us a brand new kettle (packaging intact with all the plastic coverings) and this helps us to eat some instant noodles- we checked in too late to have any decent meal. Highly recommended to travellers who need an overnight stay to catch a train the next day from Munich central train station. Our experience is contrary to those who wrote negative reviews.

I chose the hotel based on its location, the hotel located just 20 minutes by foot from the bus station and old town. It’s a budget hotel so you shouldn’t expect much, however everything was nice for it’s price: friendly staff, a clean room, nice breakfast. There was only one bottle of water for two people and no toiletries (only all-in-one gel) so make sure to bring your own. It was a big noise at day and in the evening, but at night nothing bothered me. Overall I would say that it’s pretty nice hotel for a short trip.

My stay at Hampton by Hilton Munich City West was exceptional. Situated conveniently near the city center, this modern hotel offered comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and a hearty breakfast. The location allowed easy access to attractions, while the cozy ambiance provided a relaxing retreat after a day of exploring. Highly recommended for a pleasant stay in Munich.

The hostel is so near to the Ostbahnhof. You can go to the city center and all touristic must-see places via subway, underground or buses in a very short time. The hostel has a very good, peaceful location. You can watch wonderful Munich city view from the window of your room. It is a so clean, comfortable, well-designed hostel. The room I stayed was clean and comfortable. My roommates were respectful, kind people. Staff working at the hostel are so kind, understanding, smiled-face and helpful people. I thank them all. As a solo traveller, I am really happy to stay such an amazing, comfortable place in Munich. I strongly recommend this beautiful hostel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the A&O Laim and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the warm and friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I was delighted to find my room to be clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The modern decor and cozy ambiance instantly put me at ease, providing the perfect retreat after a long day of exploring the city. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast buffet offered by the hotel. With a wide variety of options ranging from fresh fruits and pastries to hearty eggs and breads, there was something to satisfy every palate. The dining area was spacious and well-maintained, and the attentive staff ensured that I had everything I needed to start my day on a high note. Lastly, I cannot praise the staff enough for their exceptional service. They were always available to provide helpful recommendations, whether it was suggesting local restaurants or providing directions to nearby attractions. Their genuine warmth and willingness to go the extra mile truly made me feel like a valued guest.

Room are true to pictures. Chose this hotel because it's much cheaper than others in the city centre & because it has a direct train line (S8) to the airport. 3 tram stops from Munchen Pasing station. Around 25 mins to the city centre via tram S19. Rooms are very clean, beds are comfy, very true to pictures in website. Happened to chance upon their ”older rooms” but they look much nicer in real life. No water kettle to boil water in the room BUT the front desk & other staff will give you a jug of hot water anytime. Great service!

It’s next to the metro, Very friendly and helpful receptionists. The rooms are clean and nice. You don't want to leave at all :)
