Definitely on of my favourite hotels in Munich. Service, rooms, spa are all great. The gym is small but nice. Interesting crowd. Just the location is just about ok but not ideal as just not central enough. But otherwise definitely recommended. I will return.

I can't say enough great things! We booked a Signature Suite-Park View. A few weeks before arrival we received an email from a manager asking if we needed anything. Because we are regular travelers, we already arranged airport transfer with the concierge, sessions at the spa and made reservations at the hotel restaurant through OpenTable. The manager was able to quickly confirm all reservations and ask if we needed anything else. We requested extra bottles of water in our room and upon arrival there was plenty enough for our entire stay of 9 nights as well as some Oktoberfest souvenir mugs and a charcuterie board, very nice! The room was very clean and quiet. Although it was labeled park view, the trees were so full we couldn't really see the park and that was fine. We opened the windows and could hesr the kids play. Closing the windows cut off all outdoor sounds. Above the trees were beautiful buildings in the distance, you really felt like you were above the city, but not in a high rise. The spa was top notch and our favorite part were the heated lounge chairs by the indoor pool. Services were standard, I suggest booking something for right after your arrival to relax. We sat by the pool on the heated chairs for hours. The restaurant was great, we enjoyed the relaxed setting outside on the patio a couple of times and appreciated a return to eating a meal that isn't rushed. Europe understands that a meal should not be hurried. That being said, if we needed quick service, in room dining was fast! We love that there was something to order 24/7 because one night we returned from Oktoberfest and knew we should eat more to manage all the beer we drank lol. The coffee was mild, the hollandaise was perfect and the croissants were tender. The front desk staff were always pleasant, one night we returned from Oktoberfest and needed ice for a bruised knee, we asked at the desk instead of calling room service and within minutes of getting to our room, the ice arrived. Overall we are VERY happy with this stay. We were not familiar with the hotel brand and made the decision mostly based on location and cost. The pricing was commensurate with two other hotels we were familiar with, but we wanted to try something new and are glad we did. My high school friend and her husband also joined us and stayed there, they had no complaints and thanked us for finding the hotel. We also enjoyed some English language TV starting at Channel 60 and also were able to watch Netflix by mirroring the TV with our cell phone. The hotel is within a 5min walk to a pharmacy, drugstore (DM) and a great place for breakfast called, ”California Bean”. Worth a try, we went two days in a row. There was a small wait, but worth it. We also had the hotel mail things home for us and deliver a gift to local friends, everything went off without a hitch! We well return and look forward to the same excellent service. Shoutout to Sandra and team for making this stay the most memorable stay in our two weeks trip to Europe! Sandra is the most amicable and friendly staff I met. We had 1-2 questions but she went all out to help us with it. She even gave us a little surprise as well. The hotel is just a stone throw away from The Central station. On the way back, you can buy food from Pommes Freunde which is not bad. Overall a lovely stay, will definitely recommend to family and friends looking for a stay in Munich.

Well, where shall I start. Basicly, it is a very good hotel. But often the details make up the exeperience. I enjoyed my stay. There are some issues I that could diminish the experience. Location: Central, close to the train station and bus station. Next shops are about 5 mins. by foot away, next good restaurant about 10 mins. In the early morning you can hear the traffic, the hotel is directly on a main road. So, if someone is sensitive to noise in the night, I cannot recommend a stay there. Cleanliness: Well.... that's an issue. I found some hair in the bathroom. An what I discovered was that apperently the cleaningstuff was to lazy to get off some dust an trash because the put it just unter the furniture that is unter the TV. Sorry, but something like this simply just should not happen! Room: I was happy with the room. It was big and my bed was soft and comfortable. I slept well. What I appreciated very much was that the holder for the bathroom towels was heated. That's pretty cool I encountered something like this the first time in a hotel. TV was OK so was the air condition. Style is typical for never hotels/business hotels. The furniture seemed a bit shabby. Service: the staff was (mostly) fantastic. I got everything I needed and I got it fast. They help you to get every information about the hotel that you need and they were very friendly. What was a bit strange is the fact that all the coworkers there were from spain. I think, one of them spoke german but everybody else english or spanish. So, they could not provide me with some information that I needed about Munich. That's the first time something like this has happened to me in a hotel. Bar: The bar is pretty cool and the drinks are good. A bit expensive but that was OK for such a hotel. Gym and spa: There is a gym and a spa but I had no time to try it. All in all I had a good experience and I would recommend the hotel.

Hotel staff is nice, room is clean and hotel is located in a nice but quiet area. It’s near the tech companies so good business hotel for employees who travel in for work. It’s about 3 minutes to the nearest subway - just google to KFC, the nearest subway is just next to itZ however it’s not the most convenient subway as the most convenient is the Olympia Einkaufzentrum one as it’s has more connections. There’s a small dishwasher provided so it’s convenient but if you want to wash the dishes manually, there is no dishwashing liquid provided so you have to buy your own. Washers and dryers are located at the basement of the hotel, so not in your room. There’s an app that we have to download to book and pay for the washer and dryer, yes it’s extra charge. No clothes detergent is provided so we have to buy our own - there’s no dispenser at the wash and dry area where one can easily buy the washing detergent. The hotel also doesn’t sell any. We had expected the hotel to at least provide some washing detergent, so don’t get caught without clothes detergent at night, if you plan to wash your clothes at night as the shops are closed after 8 pm… Overall it was a good experience except for the few inconveniences. As a first time visitor to Munich, probably one would want to stay at a location closer to the old town or city area as we found ourselves commuting about half hour every day to the attractions or where we wanted to go.

This fairly small private hotel is a joy. The rooms are extremely well appointed and hold one great advantage over similar hotels in the vicinity of Munchen Hbf. ...... they feature kitchenette facilities (microwave, fridge and two electric rings). For supplies there is a Rewe supermarket a few minutes walk from the hotel. The staff are fabulous; from reception to room service. Although Schilerstrasse may not be to everyone's taste the hotel is virtually at the Hbf. end of the street so a visitor, if he/she so wishes, can avoid the 'Hostess' bars which are further down the street. Within a 10 minute walk you are right in the main shopping centre of the city. All the main brewery run restaurants are also within a 30 minute meander ...... Weisses Brauhaus, Andechser am Dom, zum Augustiner and zum Franziskaner.

The hotel is well located with access to the central station and to the main pedestrianised areas of Munich. The hotel is located in the Bahnhofsviertel which has a significant Turkish and Arabic population. It's not the cleanest place in Munich but we had no issues during our 3 night stay. Notably, there is no parking on-site and some car parks are nicer than others. We parked our rental in the Sonnenhof Garage on Landwehrstraße which is about a few minutes walk from the hotel. It also seemed a bit nicer than some of the other car parks in the vicinity and they're all very similarly priced. The room was well appointed with a generously sized bathroom. Everything was very clean and fully functional. The only oddity is the strangely rough flooring that looks like carpet but is more like a lino trying to be carpet. The hotel bar was also decently stocked and the barman was a very nice chap. You do quickly get reminded that this is more of a business hotel when all of the other patrons are working on their PowerPoints. Overall, a good place to stay and see Munich for a few nights. Also quite reasonably priced compared to some of the other hotels in the area.

Poor hotel. Rooms dirty and tired. Walked and there were blonde hairs all over the floor- clearing hadn’t been hoovered. Tired rooms, wallpaper coming off, marks all over bathroom. Rooms were so nosy. You could hear the room next to us shutting their curtains. Poor sleep quality. Staff did not smile. Key card kept stopping working. Reception blamed it on being kept with our phones- they were no where near each other. Walked past a couple having the same issue… Munich is such a beautiful place, when I visit next time it won’t be with this hotel…

Never had scrambled egg that I could slice but I did here. The toaster was bottom of the range too. That said, I would stay here again and would recommend to other people.

Das Hotel liegt zentral an einer riesigen Kreuzung. Daher ist der Geräuschpegel sehr hoch, auch über Nacht. Die Zimmer sind soweit okay, allerdings zum Teil recht abgewohnt. Leider scheint es hier ein Problem mit der Reinigung zu geben. Ich hatte nach dem Check-in drei Mal ein Zimmer bezogen, welche alle nicht sauber waren. Krümmel auf dem Fußboden, Papierschnipsel unter dem Schreibtisch sowie lange schwarze Haare im Bett und auf den Kopfkissen. Offensichtlich kein Einzelfall. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist soweit okay, leider nichts besonderes. Mittagessen war gut, jedoch zum Teil leider kalt. Den Preis/Nacht mit 149€ befand ich als absolut überteuert. Ich persönlich würde dieses Hotel nicht unbedingt weiterempfehlen.

We were delighted to find this wonderful hotel for our recent stay in Munich. It is very conveniently located for local shops, restaurants, buses, trams and U bahn services. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The poster collection was fascinating. The free water in reception was invaluable in the heat and cakes and coffee in the afternoon were enjoyed too. The breakfast was really great. The room was comfortable and clean. We would definitely stay there again if visiting Munich.

we started with the first surprise , which was the location , the room is on another building , not on the main hotel. then we went to the room , and it was dirty , hair left behind. I had to go immediately to take some towels , because I could not walk because of the stains. there were spiders and the windows were not clear. then the shower water didn't go down , so I had to shower with the minimum water flow , otherwise it would flow on the bath and then room. there were rumors , somebody was working from day one . and then suddenly they turned off the heating. so imagine a room with no heating on Munich winter, especially this one. and to top it of , they where about to poison us , because they used Ozone to clean the rooms. I can say that this hotel just isn't worth

Facilmente raggiungibile dalla Stazione centrale col tram (10m in tutto) e abbastanza vicino alla fermata della U2 che porta in fiera. Nelle vicinanze c’è tutto, inclusi ristoranti. Camera pulita e in ordine. Letto comodo, televisore grande. Ottima colazione, personale gentile, cordiale e internazionale. Tutte queste caratteristiche che potrebbero sembrare scontate per un 4 stelle, ma purtroppo spesso non è così. Per fortuna questo hotel si è distinto invece per un servizio all’altezza delle aspettative!

Das Zimmer war gut eingerichtet, sauber und groß. Das Bad war sehr modern eingerichtet und ebenfalls sauber. Nachts konnten wir gut schlafen = es war kein Laut von drinnen (im Hotel) oder draußen zu vernehmen. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und das Personal äußerst zuvorkommend; alle Wünsche wurden umgehend erfüllt. Das Personal an der Rezeption war ebenfals freundlich. Der einzige Kritikpunkt ist der komische große Korb, der in unserem Zimmer stand = da bin ich Desnächtens im Dunklen öfter dagegen gerannt. Keine Ahnung, warum der dort steht (siehe Bild) = denn schön ist er nicht und einen besonderen Zweck erfüllt er auch nicht. Ich könnte gut darauf verzichten!

Ibis Hotels sind ja grundsätzlich etwas einfacher gehalten in der Ausstattung. Dieses Ibis ist aber sehr modern eingerichtet und noch relativ neu. Die Betten sind super bequem und ich hatte ein Zimmer nach hinten raus, wodurch es wunderbar ruhig war. Zum Umweltschutz kann man freiwillig auf seine Zimmerreinigung verzichten und erhält dafür einen Getränkegutschein für die Bar. Eine tolle Idee! :) Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig. Mir hat besonders die Waffel Station gefallen, an der man sich frische Waffeln selbst machen kann. Das Hotel hat eine Bar, die 24h geöffnet ist und die am Abend gut besucht war. Es war gerade eine irische Reisegruppe im Haus, wodurch eine tolle und internationale Stimmung herrschte :) Es gab auch einen Nussspender, der extra für das Hotel von einer Schreinerei hergestellt wurde. Tolle Idee und super hygienisch :) Ich mochte hier auch den persönlichen freundlichen Service der Mitarbeiter ganz besonders. Man merkt, dass sie Spaß haben! Es stehen viele Desinfektionsmittelspender bereit und insgesamt fand ich das Hotel sehr sauber.
