Missing many amenities! The hotel has no employees except cleaning personnel. There is no front desk attendees you must go up the street to another hotel to check in. There is no phone in the rooms so you must go to the other hotel if you have questions or needs. Listing said there is air conditioning but there was none and we were informed at the other hotel that our hotel building has no air condition in any of the rooms. It gets hot during the day. He also said that his boss has been informed of the missing amenities many times and has not changed the listing! Gave us a small fan and told us to write a bad review because there's nothing he can do. If you paid for breakfast to be included you also have to go to the other hotel to receive it every morning.

It’s very good, but enough issues to knock a star off. Lots of good things - very clean, modern room. Great shower. Good lighting. Comfortable bed. Fabulous breakfast, with omelettes to order. Every sort of milk you could imagine (though except, oddly, we couldn’t find fresh - the one we thought was it was UHT!). Great gym on 14 floor. Internet lightning fast. The staff were friendly and gave you full attention when you were with them. Issues. Short staffed. On checkout, for example, only two staff, one of whom was on the phone … then the other could not get round an issue for a couple checking online, so had to be helped by the first. When a place is this swish, check in and out should be fast and slick. It wasn’t. Short staffed in the restaurant too: we’d booked a table but were ignored by the two staff who were covering the bar and the tables. A lot of tables and a long wait to be seated. Better training needed: at least greet and acknowledge the waiting guests. Restaurant food was ok. In the room: no access to the online hotel directory: reception didn’t really understand the problem and sent a spare remote up to us, then guessed maybe a software issue. No USB ports in the sockets, and none to loan (you could buy them apparently). (Tip: actually there there are two USB ports - on the back of the TV! They’re fiddly to reach but it can be done, and they charged a phone overnight).

I really haven't got a bad word to say about this hotel. The rooms are at the top of a block of flats, so the views across the park are fantastic. Being in the Olympic Park, I assumed the hotel would be dated, but it isn't. Very modern and spotlessly clean. It is also very quite here, and there are plenty of shops and small cafes in the complex. Fantastic buffet breakfast to suit all tastes. Our trip from the airport on the S1 was a nightmare, as there was a signal failure, so we had to get a taxi to the hotel. (Apparently this isn't uncommon) A taxi from the airport to the hotel is around 90 Euros. The U3 is a three minute walk from the hotel, and the journey into the city centre is only arond 15 minutes. If I was to visit Munich, I would stay here again.

Good location close to the interstate. Police and fire station nearby. Three underground stations in walking distance. Bus stop over the street. Own parking garage (€15/ngt) which is definitely a pro as free parking around there is kinda non-existent. Rooms are really small, No desk, not even a closet just hangers next to one bedside. Room was very clean, but had damaged light fixture. Breakfast was nice, daily change of ingredients. Love the pancake machine ! Negative was a bad smell in front of the elevators, no bench at the front and they tried to charge me twice for parking.

Visited for business. Very comfortable hotel. Let down by some amenities and challenges around covid. Bar seating area is closed off entirely outside of bar hours (even though it is really the main lobby seating) - made very difficult to have business discussions with colleagues. Understand it may be driven by regulations - then I’d recommend marking off a larger area for lobby seating. Rooms comfortable but small - fine for their purpose. Women only floor is appreciated for ‘security’ but no need to give all the ‘fluff’ on top (10 cushions, pink slippers etc) Comfortable relatively firm bed. Walk in shower - need to be careful not to flood with higher pressure (other colleagues also mentioned this). Pleasant staff.

Das Hotel ist relativ neu und modern eingerichtet. Das war dann auch schon das Positive. Das Personal ist schlecht geschult und unmotiviert. Wir hatten in allen Bereichen schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht: Der Check-In war eine reine ”Abfertigung”, meine Kreditkarte wurde lediglich zum Begleichen der Übernachtung verwendet, aber nicht zum Bezahlen an der Bar, was uns barsch von der Dame hinter der Theke beim Bestellen von Getränken gesagt wurde. Die Dame war unfreundlich und unmotiviert. Auch zu dem von uns gewählten Parkplatz haben wir falsche Auskünfte erhalten, was zu teuren Abschleppkosten geführt hätte, wenn wir nicht zufällig Mitarbeiter aus dem Nachbargebäude angesprochen hätten. Das Frühstück war sehr schlecht. Trockene Brötchen, angebrannte Rühreier(falls es denn tatsächlich Eier waren; was zu bezweifeln ist), der einzige Unterschied zwischen Wasser und Orangensaft war die Farbe. das Servicepersonal war unmotiviert und hat sich lieber um die Kaffeemaschine ”versammelt” und Kaffee getrunken, ohne festzustellen, dass für die Gäste keine Tassen mehr vorhanden sind. Das Zimmer war schmutzig. Der Teppich war verschmutzt und im Bad waren Haare vom Vormieter um das Waschbecken verteilt. Selbst nach der zweiten Zimmerreinigung hat sich daran nichts geändert. Das Beschwerdemanagement funktioniert überhaupt nicht. Auf unsere Beschwerden und Hinweise wurde auf keine Weise reagiert. Das Hotel ist definitiv nicht zu empfehlen!

Übers WE in München in einem gepflegten, sauberen Motel mit top Anbindung (S-Bahn quasi vor der Tür) zwei ruhige Nächte verbracht. Die Zimmer sind schlicht und einfach, aber völlig ausreichend ausgestattet. Wenn man das Zimmer eigentlich nur zum Übernachten braucht, dann ist man hier richtig, da auch die Preise fair sind. Daher zu empfehlen 👍🏻.

PPengguna TetamuHotel is located a bit away from marienplatz and the downtown shopping area . It isn”t a problem because public transportation is at your front door . taxis and the train station are near by . The hotel staff were friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived . Pia and Jan in the restaurant took excellent care of us at dinner ,food was tasty and nicely presented . The breakfast buffet was fresh and tasty with a good selection to get your day started . Our room was clean , well maintained and quiet . Would definety stay again if we return to Munich . Thanks for a great stay !

PPengguna TetamuWe are here now. Reserved 2 rooms to accommodate 4 people, one for 3 adults, the other for 1 adult. They brought us a roll away bed for the 3rd adult and when I asked the front desk, they said they had no rooms to accommodate 3 adults with 3 proper beds. (Then why offer it as an option?). We were offered to move to a larger room, for the larger price, but would still only get the roll away bed for the 3rd adult. Accommodations…..incredibly dissatisfied. Especially for a 5 star hotel. We were ignored, not exaggerating, when we pulled up with our vehicle. While trying to parallel park to unload, 2 employees stood joking around. A colleague stopped what he was doing, interrupted them, and all but got in their face to tell them to help us! At this point I was pissed! And mind you, i was outside of the car and they had no idea i was with the car……so i was witness to it all. They were kissing the feet of the others (who were not wearing sweat pants) and legitimately IGNORED us. I was PISSED. Not because I’m stuck on myself, but because it’s so true. If you don’t LOOK a certain way, especially at this 5 star hotel, YOU WILL BE IGNORED. Don’t hate on me for my honest review. Just know that if TRUE luxury is what you’re seeking, no matter what you look like or what you drive, you may have better luck down the road. It’s not here. Best of luck and let’s hope I’m one of the few who has had to experience this.

PPengguna TetamuWhile the hotel stay was comfortable and the rooms a nice and clean we found the front desk staff rude and unhelpful. From the start they have shown no courtesy, I called up the hotel from the station to inquire about the location and landmark and found the person speaking to me couldnt care less about giving directions. Then when we arrived there, there was no one at the front desk. Since there are two Holiday Inns adjacent to each other we were confused as to which one is ours and kept the cab waiting to check. Finally we had to let the cab go as not one was there to answer our query. After a long wait the lady manning the front desk finally emerged from the cabin and was very rude with us. She couldnt find our reservation, we had to panic call the booking.com customer service and incurred a huge mobile bill for the international call only so that we could confirm our booking. She insisted we had not paid for our rooms and we had to argue and show proof of payment. Any query we had about the hotel amenities or sightseeing were unhelpfully answered. The person who looks after the snacks corner was the only congenial and courteous person. The hotel is within walking distance of a train station and the bus stop is right outside the drive way, There are some good restaurants about 5- 7 minutes walk from the hotel. Lidl is a stones throw away so are a few other grocery stores. Once you get the hang of the place its pretty convenient. The only reason why the rating is average is because the hotel is good and the rooms were comfortable and neat. Otherwise only based on their customer service it would be poor.

We really love it, i n my husband n boy love it. The room is clean and has kettle for hot water. Eveything is perfect and if we come back to munich, we will booking this hotel again

PPengguna TetamuThis hotel was one of the best we have stayed at. We loved the room. Ours came with a little kitchen area. We felt like we were staying in a modern episode of “tiny house”. The lobby area is large and inviting. We were meet by a friendly and accommodating staff who meet all our our needs. Wonderful stay!

白白色的玉石Hear me out: this hotel has THE BEST - meaning most professional - service I have ever encountered in any hotel - and I say it from my experience from staying at 4-5 stars hotels as a general rule.
Regarding service:
- ALWAYS replying to every email (unfortunately letters sometimes land in a spam folder, a little flaw)
- 24/7 there’s always someone at the reception ready to assist (mind it’s not a branded hotel, but a family-owned business), making sure that there aren’t any unsolved problems or unsatisfied needs
- all website-provided informations are up to date
- there’s a shuttle bus from a train station for guests (till 5pm)
- staff is perfectly trained and experienced. There’s never any personal attitude, just a smile and clear communication. Of course speaking well English.
- Bonus: I arrived quite before check-in hours and checked out a bit late too; didn’t have to say a word and no word was said (or called). Even got an advise how to efficiently manage my luggage for my next trip.
Location: a bit far from train & metro stations.
Amenities: a very big swimming pool! And a sauna, and a gym. Downside is that those amenities are in a neighbouring building, so if you’re still wearing your swimming suit, you need to walk on a pedestrian path for two minutes like this. It feels weird. But there are lockets, showers and fresh towels too, if you prefer to change your clothes first.
Concluding: best combination of price, location, fun, and quality.

PPengguna TetamuI booked this based on a 4+ tripadvisor rating. Our recent experience doesn't seem to match others experience. The room ( on the 5th floor) didn't have air conditioning, no kettle, the shower over bath was just not up to standard, the layout of the room was just not good. The lighting was awful to put it mildly. In short it did not remotely resemble the photographs that the hotel uses on Booking.com. which seem to be the refurbished rooms on floors 1 - 4. On the plus side it was clean and bed adequately comfortable. There are no restaurant facilities in the evening currently available. The area around the hotel isn't great. There are, let's call them, nighttime clubs for men in the immediate area, and I didn't feel very safe after dark, but on the plus side it is close to transport links in very easy reach of main train station. To sum up, it's not the worst place I've stayed but wouldn't recommend or stay again.

PPHILLIP JAMESThis hotel is about a 10 mins walk to Munich Central Station. There is a major supermarket chain, just 2 mins walk from the hotel, which is very confident. My room was located on level 5, overlooking the main street. On first glance, the room appeared to have all normal facilities. Firstly, the air-conditioning control panel was very difficult to use and I had to ask a cleaner to adjust the setting. Unfortunately, the room never went cold and was permanently set at 25 C which is was too hot in summer. As a consequence had to open the windows and there was significant street noise. The bathroom looked good, but there was no shower curtain, and glass panel was not sufficient to stop water flooding the bathroom, many towels were used to mop the floor. Location: While the hotel is close to central station it is about 2 kms from the main tourist areas, but there is a famous church nearby (see photo). Finally a positive note to finish this review: This room was very large, with twin beds and sitting area, and certainly not a single room I ordered.

would give a zero if I could. Currently in the reception with nowhere to go, where we've been for well over two and a half hours. Our rooms (which were paid for through ******* in October, and have twice had written confirmation) have been given to other people. The receptionist says he can do nothing without authorisation from the Manager, who won't answer her phone. He's refused to do anything to assist. He is now going to lock up and leave is in reception with nowhere to sleep. Took 15 hours to get here from Heathrow today, and this is how it's ended up. Worst experience in a hotel EVER. Update: Reception found us rooms in a sister hotel at 12:15am. Only 200 hundred yards away, but surely these had been available since we'd arrived in Munich? Room was ok and were still able to have breakfast, which was fine enough. Manager of the Belle Blue was apologetic and gave us a suite for the rest of our stay, which consisted of two bedrooms (one with ensuite), a shower room and lounge with kitchen area. It was sparse but nice. Breakfast each morning was quite good for continental and the staff were friendly and always cleaning. As people have said before, the area isn't the nicest but it's not a big deal. It's not far to the Underground and bus station, and there is a fabulous microbrewery/restaurant next door. I would consider going again.

AAntonyI had an incredible experience staying at this hotel! From the moment I checked in, the staff greeted me with warm smiles and made me feel right at home. The hotel's ambiance was both inviting and stylish, creating a wonderful atmosphere for relaxation.
The room was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, and the attention to detail in the decor was impressive. The comfortable bed ensured a restful night's sleep, and the amenities provided were top-notch.
What truly stood out was the impeccable service provided by the hotel staff. They were always ready to assist with any request or question, and their genuine care for their guests was evident in every interaction.
Furthermore, the hotel's location was perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions and public transportation. It allowed me to explore the city effortlessly and make the most of my stay.
Overall, I can't praise this hotel enough. The combination of excellent service, beautiful accommodations, and convenient location made my trip truly memorable. I will definitely be returning in the future and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.
