Hotel 3 Bintang di Münster

In honesty I'm not sure why this hotel doesn't have better reviews. The location is perhaps not the most beautiful being right by the train station, but it is certainly convenient, not only for transport with there being obviously the trains but also the main bus station, a taxi rank and a bike hire shop, but also for the mini supermarket and bakeries within the train station. There are plenty of nice restaurants within walking distance and it is only about 10 mins walk into the centre of the old town too. The room we stayed in was huge, with plenty of storage space, and a mini kitchenette/extra seating area that we weren't even expecting. The double bed is more like a super king and when we asked for an extra bed to be set up for one of our sons they provided a whole extra double pull out bed that he found very comfortable. There was no bath but the shower has great water pressure so we didn't miss it. The staff are all very friendly and helpful at the reception desk and the cleaners are doing a great job too. I would also recommend the breakfast in the Bistro Conti attached to the hotel - though not included it is definitely worth a try. The buffet includes various breads, rolls & toast, cheeses, hams, smoked salmon, scrambled and boiled eggs, tomatoes & cucumber, yoghurts, cereals, fruits, jams and honey. We all enjoyed it and it was a great way to get our children set up for a day exploring Muenster. We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Conti and wouldn't hesitate to stay again should we have the opportunity to return to Muenster.

Sehr sauber und ideal für Übernachtungen mit Kleinkind, da eine eigene Küche im Zimmer ist. Bett war super bequem, die Lage ein Traum. Dafür dass es zentral liegt, ist es dennoch sehr ruhig gewesen. Im Flur riecht es angenehm nachher Zitrone, macht seinem Namen also alle Ehre.

Das Gästehaus ist - wie der Name erwarten lässt - vom Standard her nicht mit einem Hotel vergleichbar. Ich hatte ein Einzelzimmer, relativ groß aber steril eingerichtet. Ein merkwürdiger, teppichartiger Bodenbelag. Es roch unangenehm im Zimmer. Bad naja.....Es ging nach hinten raus zu einigen Mehrfamilienhäusern mit großem Spielplatz. Hier versammelten sich trotz kalter Temperaturen einige Jugendliche die lautstart rumblökten. Im Sommer kann man damit wohl bis tief in die Nacht rechnen , also keine besonders ruhige Lage wenn man bei offenem Fenster schlafen will. Das Frühstück war gut, auch hier funktionaler Ablauf (mit Tabletts wie in einer Kantine) aber es war alles da. Mitten im Raum standen die Tablettwagen und ein Putzwagen rum - das kann man besser lösen. Lage: zu Fuß ca. 35 Minuten in die Altstadt aber Bushaltestelle vor der Tür. Fazit: für 126 Euro inkl. Frühstück im EZ kein Schnäppchen, könnte für die Kategorie etwas günstiger sein.

Wir übernachteten hier für günstiges Geld. Das Viersternehotel liegt gegenüber dem Hauptbahnhof und man kann sein Auto fünf Minuten entfernt für 10€ pro Tag im Parkhaus Engelenschanze abstellen. Das Zimmer war klein, hatte aber Klimaanlage, Minibar, Dusche, Fernseher und war ruhig, da wir ein Zimmer zum Hinterhof hatten. Wir hatten kein Frühstück gebucht, da sich in der Nachbarschaft viele Bäckereien oder Essensgelegenheiten sind. Wir liefen einige Minuten zu einer netten kleinen Bäckerei Elshoff mit einer sehr netten Bäckereifachverkäuferin und leckeren Brötchen. Das Hotelpersonal an der Rezeption war freundlich. Ich hatte über Agoda gebucht.

A great choice! Our room was bigger than normal at 16m2. Extremely quiet and comfy room. The hotel is on a quiet side street just a short stroll away from the train station and the Altstadt. Free welcome drink for members. Great value for money.

Clean, bright and sharp lines characterise the Stadthotel just off the centre of Munster's enduringly attractive Altstadt. This is an excellent base from which to make a leisurely exploration of the town centre, and a very refreshing place to come back to for a quiet and comfortable night's sleep. Helpful but unobtrusive staff, amply spacious rooms, smart modern finishings and bathrooms, all at very affordable rates – even if breakfast does come a little expensive (but there are plenty of good coffee shops within easy walking distance as an alternative).

The hotel is alongside a busy road but you are not bothered by it during sleeping. Our room had access to the balcony that you share with four other rooms. No problem as you can easily lock off your room via the electric blinds. Also quite handy to darken the room as the curtains are not very dark and don't close very good. The hotel room was sufficiently spacious and had sufficient seating, but the bathroom was really small. It didn't have a working ventilation so everything got very damp soon. Also because the warm water regulation was difficult. Also the elevator is quite small. The staff was a bit distant, though there to help. The hotel has a separate garage for bikes as we were informed beforehand through quite direct messages and responses beforehand. Apart from that there is not a lot of facilities the hotel offers other than cold drinks from a central fridge. No fridges or coffeemaker in the room. Simple amenities in the bathroom. The entourage of the hotel is all a bit faint and there is hardly anything that you will remember of this hotel after a while.
