Ulasan Parque Espana Residence Hotel

This is the second time I booked at Parque Espana but the first time I actually stayed in the hotel for a two-night staycation. You can bring small pets but make sure to call them in advance to remind them that you are bringing a pet so they can give you the requirements prior to the check-in date. I checked-in for our group anticipating the long lines given that their lobby was small. I was surprised with how smooth the check-in was and how efficient the frontdesk staff personnel were. Our 3-bedroom unit was available in a couple of minutes. I was disappointed when I entered the 3-bedroom unit. It was old, smelled musty, the paint on the cabinets were starting to peel off, the furniture were old. BUT the unit was very clean! Still, I was hesitant to have my parents join me in the unit I decided to book another unit through their website for the following night even willing to forfeit the payment of the 3-bedroom unit. However only a 2 bedroom unit was available. I messaged them through FB messenger and called the FD to ask to be booked in a different room the following day. I was pleasantly surprised that instead of me paying for another unit, they asked if I am willing to be transferred to a 2-bedroom newly renovated unit and said they will just have an extra bed set up. It was Tristan who assited me all through out the process. He even made it possible that instead of transferring the following day, he transferred us the same night. He even made sure the room was available before I arrived with my parents. The 2-bedroom unit we transferred to was sooo much better compared to the previous one, this is modern and newly renovated. Pros: the staff, especially Tristan of FD and Francis of Reservations turned my dismay to yay! The unit (despite being outdated) is very clean - kudos to the housekeeping team. Walking distance to some malls and restaurants. Very good location if you love to have morning or afternoon runs. Cons: The hotel is old, even the unit that has been renovated does not look new. Exhaust - you can smell if the neighboring unit is cooking. Parking space: even if you have a confirmed booking, there is no guarantee that you can get a parking space. Some were parked on the street behind the hotel ---however, spaces on the street are also not guaranteed. If you are going to book your stay here make sure to pick the newly renovated units otherwise, you will be very disappointed if the FIESTA ESPANA unit is given to you.
