Hotel Romantik di Mykonos

Amazing place. 10 out of 10 5 star hotel experience. Away from the craziness of town centre - some might find that as a con, but if you are looking for more chilled vacation with your SO, this is it!

Not a good location. Every time there is a boat arriving at the pier directly opposite the hotel, you get a lovely cloud of fumes straight into your room and swimming pool. Rooms are in need of renovation with poor storage facilities. Breakfast is poor with random selections of lunch items for breakfast such as ntolmadakia. poor selection of Supermarket pastries and a lovely selection of fruits such as JUST APPLES. Good location. 10 mins walk to city centre and Little Venice. Can also look at the sunset from our room. Breakfast is OK with reasonable options. Generally a good hotel for its price.

Absolutely wonderful stay. From the moment we arrived: we were treated like royalty. Our hosts could not do enough for us: from sharing recommendations to booking taxis and checking we have everything we need. We were greeted in such a warm and friendly way from all staff. A sunset welcome drink was just perfect. The room was brand new with tasteful decor and Mykonos style. We had a lovely view of the coast. The room has a chilled vibe with music and stunning views. Very Instagrammable- if that’s what you’re in to. The location is deal. So close to the airport, with transfers courtesy of the hotel. Also a 5-10 walk in to town with all of the bars and restaurants. Yes, the walk down is busy in terms of the road, but it’s really not an issue and not as bad as I was expecting. You just have to be careful and it’s the price you pay for such a top location. We took taxis to some of the clubs and reception were excellent at arranging this, as taxis are scarce on the island.

Tutto perfetto , location bellissima situata in una posizione strategica , panorama dalla piscina mozzafiato , servizio ottimo, camerieri sempre pronti a soddisfare ogni esigenza , la struttura e’ nuova , fresca pulita .. Una vacanza in assoluto relax , la cucina e’ ottima ad ogni pasto , colazione senz eguali .. Non c’è nulla che non sia andato bene , la consiglio a tutti

I have stayed at Poseidon two /three times a year since 1991 and will be there twice this year (2023) 62 times in total ! To say I like the place would be a mega understatement . Family run hotel who can’t do enough to help you and Lina at reception is a superstar. Fantastic buffet full breakfasts which are lovely. Rooms for every budget. Really well situated for trips into town etc. rooms cleaned to perfection everyday. Just read some of the negative reviews on Poseidon and I have honestly never encountered any of them and I should know ! Believe me you will not be disappointed.

We very much enjoyed this hotel. Great location for walking to area bars and restaurants as well as down to windmills, if you don't want to rent scooter. Room was very clean. Bar at pool side was great. Pool very nice and good service. Very nice breakfast buffet. We didn't eat other meals there, but saw them at pool and looked very good. Quaint set-up with small front porch area for each room. Would absolutely recommend.

In short: The Vencia is an absolute delight, expertly balancing chic yet simple design, efficient yet discreet service, and a location that is convenient yet feels secluded. Measured in the key categories*, it scores a very impressive 4.8 average. The long story: We stayed twice at the Vencia, either side of a sailing charter, and the hotel provided a delightful oasis to recover from our various travels. It is within easy striking distance from the airport and the marina, and the Old Town is a 10-15 minute (if you want to go toe-to-toe with the traffic) or a much less stressful 5-minute taxi. Like most small Greek island hotels, it's a slight hotchpotch of rooms, stairways and corridors, but everything works and means that you genuinely feel like you are in a small, charming hotel. The pool area is expertly managed with subtle music and a welcoming bar; the view - especially at sunset - is classic Mykonos. The staff must come in for special mention, with everyone from the front desk to housekeeping being friendly, professional, and attentive. Our room: We had different rooms across our two stays, and the latter (127) is unsurpassed, with cosy interior lounging and two options on the generous balcony. Again, the view is fantastic. Thankfully, the soundproofing does exclude virtually all of the sometimes raucous Mykonos nightlife sounds, ensuring a restful sleep. Dining: The breakfast is faultless, with a generously stocked buffet and a cooked option featuring local dishes. Everything is fresh and tasty. We really loved staying at this hotel. Breakfast is so delicious and the view from the restaurant is stunning. Our room was also very comfortable and nice. We highly recommended to anyone looking for a nice hotel in Mykonos.
