My child and I had a wonderful stay at Kimpton Da An Taipei. The hotel has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our visit. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and well taken care of. One of the highlights was the lobby area, which offered complimentary snacks and drinks during certain hours. This was a lovely touch and gave us a chance to relax and recharge before and after exploring the city. The overall experience was comfortable, family-friendly, and enjoyable. We truly appreciated the excellent service and thoughtful hospitality. I would happily recommend Kimpton Da An Taipei to families, couples, and anyone looking for a pleasant stay in Taipei. We look forward to returning in the future!

The hotel's service was absolutely amazing! Right from the booking, the owner set up a WeChat group and provided all sorts of thoughtful services. Not only did they recommend attractions, but they also suggested a car rental company. Driver Ouyang from the car company was super nice too. In the evenings, even after the driver had finished his shift, the hotel arranged for a car to pick us up from outside and bring us back. The restaurant offered a complimentary drinks fridge, and shopping in the lobby was self-service, emphasizing trust and friendliness. So, for those who don't go to bed early, you don't have to worry about going hungry in the middle of the night. Breakfast in the morning was also fantastic. Because we had a last-minute change of plans and couldn't eat at the hotel, the owner packed it up for us to take away. They even helped us pick up our pre-ordered Jingcai buns. Due to changes in the weather, we were promptly informed about the ferry schedule at the port. This trip to Kinmen, a lot of the positive emotional value came from this guesthouse. We'll definitely choose this place again next time we visit Kinmen!

First of all, this is a very old hotel that has seen truly better days. While maintained well, it has retained it's original furnishings and decor from the 1980s and 1990s. Staying here reminded me of my childhood travelling with my family in the 80s. The actual room does not look anything like the ones shown on the website. The hard floors mean you should wear their slippers or bring your own room slippers. The hot spring water advertised is just hot spring water pipes that go into your bathtub. There is a step that emulates hot spa step in the bathtub. The breakfast was good with nice braised meat and eggs that you can put over your rice or porridge. There's also hot soy milk. But no hot tea, only coffee. The staff look tired but hard working. There was a grumpy older lady receiptionist when we checked in and she was pretty rough in the check in process. E.g. ”if you don't put a number here, and you leave things in the hotel, we'll just throw them away! Just to tell you first.” Room was quite small or cosy, depending on your perspective. The only thing new was the air-conditioner. The TV set had all the settings for channels but none worked. Internet wifi was not quite working too.

Our stay this time was extremely satisfying. The hotel's interior environment was clean and comfortable, and the room was meticulously maintained, making us feel very at ease. What pleasantly surprised us most were the many thoughtful value-added services provided by the hotel: there was a shuttle service between the pier and the hotel, so we didn't have to arrange our own transportation after disembarking, which was incredibly convenient. They also offered a takeaway breakfast service, which was flexible and practical. On the day we had water activities planned, the hotel also arranged a car to take us there, saving us a lot of time and hassle. All the staff members were very friendly and kind, providing attentive and meticulous service, always willing to assist us with our various needs. Both the facilities and the thoughtful supplementary services were excellent. This hotel significantly enhanced our entire trip. If we visit this area again, we would very much hope to stay here once more.

The comfort/cleanliness of the family room for 4 people is average - the location is relatively close to Suao Port - it is more than 10 minutes' walk from Suao Railway Station, right? It's close! There are 7-11 supermarkets nearby - 7-11 + FamilyMart two supermarkets in the direction of the train station. There is a Lairfu supermarket behind the station! There are no disposable toiletries, toothbrushes and toothpaste in the room! But there is one at the counter - if you don’t bring it, you can take it and use it! In the room - coffee/tea bags/bottled water/instant boiling pot/towels and bath towels are provided Comes with a quick boiling kettle - there is no adapter 3 to 2, you need to ask for an adapter at the counter! There is no adapter attached. After using it, the tenant has to take it and return it after check-out. Really bad! # I was even called to ask for ”adapters”~ It was very unpleasant! The housekeeping staff haven't tidied up the room yet~ The front desk is in a hurry to find it! Very funny! Disgusting! Very hot! 🙄🙄😤😡😡 The instant pot adapter should have been included with the item for guests to use! How could you do this and have to ask for it and return it! I don’t know why the hotel does this... Is it very problematic? . The guest reacted, the hotel counter staff said, are you reacting to your boss? ?

Had a fantastic experience! We really enjoyed the hotel's public pools, which offered a variety of temperatures. The 28-degree section was perfect for swimming. The in-room hot springs were also incredibly relaxing; the water stayed warm much longer than regular water. Plus, there were plenty of activities happening in the hotel lobby.

A beautiful, historic homestay near the port with excellent service. High-quality bedding and comfortable beds. Walking in and hearing Celine Dion made it even more quaint 😂 Jack was super helpful with information about the ferry tickets, and even made an extra trip back to the port because I Ieft my umbrella behind. And his mom was very kind and welcoming too. A note to those who may be sensitive: there was a faint musty smell, which I’ve found common to many hotels and guest houses in humid climates like Taiwan. Earplugs are recommended for light sleepers, since you can hear courtyard and street noise in the room. Plan ahead for cash: nearby restaurants are cash-only, and the nearest atm is at 7-11, about a 20 minute walk away.

It was great to have a quiet stay. A solo room is truly the best! This place is close to Jiufen Old Street, making it perfect for sightseeing in Jiufen. I definitely wanted to stay for a night and relax, so I did. It's really nice to be able to spend time without worrying about when to head back. Jiufen is on a mountain, and the slopes are steep and more tiring than I expected, so I think there's a big difference between staying overnight and just visiting for the day.

The super impressive, high-ceilinged lounge with a high-power projector is almost too luxurious, it's over the top! Having a courtyard, and comfortable, clean rooms with a small platform is also part of that over-the-top experience. I met a few local and international friends while free diving here, and I genuinely loved it! 🥰 Oh no, my heart's already flown to Xiaoliuqiu!

While noise from the hallway is easily heard, practicing speaking in the room was still manageable. The location is excellent, with plenty of great food options nearby, and Chiayi Train Station is within walking distance. The only downsides were the facilities and hygiene. The bed was hard, and there was a thick layer of limescale on the bathroom faucet. But you get what you pay for, and overall, it was a decent stay.
