the hotel is very decent but it is a self service hotel so no active service, you have to find the staff by yourself. but everything's are fine the only bug we have is the card is in the middle of the machine. but the staff fixed it very quick

This was a great hotel and a great stop before driving through the national park in the morning. Also the breakfast was amazing

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff truly stood out—they speak perfect English, which made communication effortless. They were also very supportive whenever I asked for directions, providing clear maps and great local tips. Their hospitality made my trip much smoother!

As my final base in Taiwan following my Mt. Jade expedition, this motel was an absolute dream. It was a pleasure to find that the property completely matched the online pictures. The breakfast was outstanding and served in a pleasant setting. Crucially, the bed was incredibly comfortable, offering a much-needed deep slumber after my two-day hike. The top-notch bathroom was incredibly spacious, making my long, restorative shower a true luxury. This was a definite 5-star experience.

Stayed at this hotel as a stopover on way to Alishan; and the amenities, the services are all top-notch! Hotel even paid attention to all the smallest details like a lighted mirror and complimentary ear plugs in your room. Do also try their steak restaurant in house. To get to Chiayi train station, you will need to take a cab or public bus (4 stops).. which is not too bad all considering

Location: Close to the train station Cleanliness: All clean. Service: Very friendly, I asked about nearby food and they gave me recommendations (explaining which options are both good and bad). Facilities: Water, drinks and snacks were very helpful. Bikes to borrow on a first-come-first-served basis. There were 4 available during my stay. Luggage storage was free and useful. I ended up storing 3 items both before check-in and after check-out. Overall was surpsised by big size of room, shower was quite large.

Everything was very good. Staffs are kind and warm welcoming. There is free shuttle bus service from kaoshung to hotel, it’s very convenient. A bar located on the beach. Grab some beer at night with good vibe. It’s perfect!

This was an incredible hotel. The owner’s commitment to his vision is outstanding. The hotel doesn’t exactly feel like Thailand, but rather the hotel owner’s imagination of Thailand fused with the set for a Broadway musical. The rooftop bar is also great and reasonably priced. The only real downsides are that the smell of plastic flowers in the hallways is sometimes overwhelming, and the fact that the bathroom is separated from the room by only a curtain. But overall, I 1000% recommend staying here — it made our experience in Chiayi.

Pros: Clean and comfortable, spacious. Staff were friendly. Cons: - listing says there are windows, but the windows in our unit were completely taped up with black stickers. We noticed some rooms' windows were not taped up - not sure why it's so inconsistent. - there is no reception/lobby, just a security guardhouse at the vehicle entrance - didn't like that there were condoms placed in an obvious spot by the bed, not a great experience for families with young kids - one of the showers were faulty, the pull-out metal knob to enable water flow wasn't working
