Ulasan Hotel Urashima

We stayed there for a night, it has both shuttle bus and ferry service to carry passengers between the town and hotel. The onsens are so good, the hotel is big, the view from the mountain top is outstanding. The room is big and clean. The buffet dinner is ok. Will definitely come back again

Loved this hotel so much! There are 5 different onsens (including two amazing cave onsens) and a garden and a deck at level 30+ and restaurants, souvenir shops and a Lawsons in the hotel itself. The downside is that it is only reachable by a short boat ride on a very adorable turtle boat from 7 to 7 at certain intervals so you’ll need to time your itineraries very precisely. However, I did enjoy coming back earlier from a long day of hiking at Kumano Kodo and relaxing in the different onsens, which were a big highlight of my trip. Also make sure to dine at Ihura Sushi at Kii-Katsuura, which has amazing sushi.

Very good onsen and good service from parking staffs. Hotel is s bit old but still clean.

Expected more. There was no instruction in how to get there! We had to search on website and it wasn’t even accurate. The hotel cannot be reached by car but the website said we could reach by car. In reality we had to park at a certain car park spot which is far away from hotel and hop on the hotel bus, then get on the ferry. Staff english was very poor as well. The hotel was very outdated. But nice view.

Comfortable hotel. There is Lawson in the hotel. Onsen ìs very superb.

Unique location, facilities, and experience: enjoying onsen in a cave while watching sunrise. However you have to note that the hotel is rather old and the facilities are clean but quite dated.

Altogether excellent. The onsen in caves were superb!

Really unique hotel that is built on a cave! The room was very clean and big with an amazing view of pacific ocean. I really enjoy the various onsens especially the cave ones. It is highly recommended to anyone who is looking for a special onsen experience.

Nice hotel with superb hot springs tag along with its natural beauties. Unfortunately not much of food choices and always full booking, only a Lawson inside the hotel.
