Hotel di Naga

This is a no frills hotel that gives you value for what you pay for, but what makes it shine and excel beyond its competitors is the quality of service. I was assisted by Junna to change our room after we discovered stains and a shoe print on the covers. Junna went the extra mile and personally inspected the new room we were to be assigned before giving us the new key card. That level of dedication to hygiene and guest comfort by a front office staff member is very rare nowadays. When we went to the cafe that evening for coffee and desserts, we enjoyed marvelous service from Joseph and Lito. They were very warm, and anticipated our every need. Again, that is something that makes this hotel shine. For breakfast, again, we enjoyed great service from Jonathan. There is only one downside. The breakfast area assigned to us was a tiny, humid and warm veranda. The interior designer didn't think to put fans or insect screens in that outdoor area. Jonathan brought in the staff fan from their own area just to try to keep us cool in the tropical heat. Staff initiative is really there, but space planning was lacking. Luckily we had breakfast and checked out early because that veranda would not be a great place to be at when all the other guests show up for breakfast. Their team really made our stay memorable. I hope management has a good talent retention programme because good hotels are a dime a dozen in that region and top service is their only real USP.

We have been regulars here at the Avenue Plaza hotel for the past several years and it was our 1st visit back in 4 years since the pandemic, which affected the hotel services like all other businesses. With that being said, the reason this review is “Very Good” is solely due to the superior customer service of all their staff who treat guests like family and try their best to meet guest needs amidst the challenges being faced in the ”much-needed” improvement in the hotel facilities and upgrades in its infrastructure. Mr. Dennis Serrano (Manager) has assured us that there are plans in place to address the same and wish him and his team the best. A special thanks to Ms. Arianne Cortez and the front office staff as well as the restaurant, housekeeping, porters, security, gym, cleaning, IT and other staff who go out of their way to make guests happy.

What I always look for in a hotel is a comfortable bed. And this is a hotel with a comfortable bed and lots of soft pillows. In the lobby they serve a welcome drink, the cold ginger tea is very refreshing and they provide a cold towel to freshen you up. In the room they also have fresh bread that is given to their guests. All the staff are polite and accommodating. The location is also nice, there are many options to eat.

Prepare to have your expectations shattered and your standards elevated because the Robertson Hotel is in a league of its own. This place isn't just a hotel; it's a mind-boggling oasis where luxury and elegance do a flawless tango. From the moment you set foot inside, you'll question if you accidentally stumbled into a parallel universe where perfection reigns supreme. The staff at the Robertson Hotel are wizards disguised as hospitality professionals. They possess an uncanny ability to make you feel like the most important person in the universe, all while effortlessly tending to your every whim. Forget about clairvoyants; these folks can predict your needs before you even realize you have them. It's like they attended Hogwarts School of Hospitality, and they graduated with top honors.

During our stay at Villa Caceres, since it was our first time, the people in the Front Office are very helpful when providing locations and assistance, as well as the Housekeeping staffs (the group of tall guy assisted us on adjusting aircon temperature, when we arrived in the room). We also arrived earlier than the check-in time but they have accommodated us (receptionist named Jen/Jean, i think). I have just noticed in the morning buffet that servers are quite not that attentive on their guests even though it was not busy, some tables are left unattended, although the selection of their food was nice. I hope that they pay attention on this feedback. Then location was accessible to the city, markets and transportation.

Good and safe to stay. We’ll come back again next year. It’s very worth the price. We were 12 people included kids. It’s very near also the atm machine, groceries store, fast food, church etc. You will love it too. Satisfied client!

We stayed here with our friends. We used the pool to hang out which is fun but a heads up, their pool is 5ft and above. There is a kiddie pool but It would be nice if the adult pool starts at least 4ft. Considering Filipinos average height isn’t above 5ft 🙂

It was NOT so clean, as advertised. There was muddied footprints on the bathroom floor. And toilet would not flush. The TV did not have audio. One of the Sogo personnel came to fix the problem. But unfortunately no fix was made. I was booked in Room-104, last 20-Dec-2023.

Right in the middle of Naga and in walking distance to most sites. It wasn't noisy though. The staff were were courteous. The room was clean. Wifi works well. Good RedDoorz amenities were provided. Drinking water was provided in a dispenser inside room, which I preferred to bottled one. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.
