The room was pretty good and the view was fantastic. The staff were very welcoming. The only downside was that the breakfast selection was quite limited, mainly Japanese and Western options. Since I stayed for four days and ate breakfast at the hotel every day, it felt very repetitive. It might be fine for a stay of one or two nights, but not for longer. The location is super convenient – it's only a five to six-minute walk to the nearest Don Quijote, and about a ten-minute walk to Kokusai Dori. You can take the monorail to Makishi and then walk back to the hotel, enjoying some sightseeing along the way. It’s incredibly convenient.

The rooms at Renaissance Hotel are quite spacious, definitely on a different level compared to the hotels we stayed at later in Naha city. Plus, there's a balcony with an ocean view; my son loved sitting on the lounge chair there, watching the scenery. The hotel also offers a wide range of activities; we participated in the Happy Dolphin and sea turtle care programs. My baby had an absolute blast and got to interact with the dolphins up close. Highly recommend!

The hotel is conveniently located right next to the bus terminal, making it incredibly easy to travel anywhere. My spacious city-view room offered a beautiful sunrise view 🌅. The service was excellent, the facilities were great, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The lobby and restaurant on the 14th floor also provide fantastic views. The only slight drawback was that the sofa in the room felt quite firm. After a five-night stay, my overall experience was good.

Pros: The location is fantastic. The room and bathroom were spacious, and the bedding was comfortable. The front desk staff were very courteous, there was a good selection of toiletries, and the coffee was delicious. Cons: One night, there was some noise from street racers on the road-facing side, which was quite loud. However, it was quiet on subsequent nights, so it was likely an isolated incident. Also, the cleaning quality seemed inconsistent; one day it wasn't very thorough, and the trash bins weren't fully emptied.

The hotel's location is absolutely superb! Getting here is a breeze: it's directly connected to Asahibashi Monorail Station via a second-floor skybridge, and it's also right next to the bus terminal. Ounoyama Park is within walking distance, and you even pass a Don Quijote store along the way. Convenience stores like Lawson and 7-Eleven are plentiful nearby, making it easy to grab breakfast. The room type was standard, nothing particularly special, but it was perfectly sufficient for our family. The bathtub was a bonus, great for kids. And the complimentary coffee and lemonade in the lobby were a pleasant surprise.

This is the first negative review I've ever left, but I genuinely want to warn others away from this place. I can't fathom how it scored a 4.7. Check-in took half an hour, and the front desk staff I dealt with couldn't even speak English. The moment I stepped into the room, there was a strong, musty smell from the carpet. Staying there for long triggered my rhinitis. The layout of both the room and bathroom was incredibly cramped. I couldn't even fully open my suitcase, and it was hard to turn around in the bathroom. One of the three beds was directly under the AC vent, making it impossible to get a good night's sleep. Furthermore, all the facilities looked old, worn, and yellowed, yet they dared to claim it was 'newly renovated in 2024'. What a rip-off! I've included a photo of the bathroom to give everyone a sense of its 'prison vibe'.

Our first impression wasn't great: upon entering the room, we found men's underwear on the floor, so we immediately asked for a room change. This made us question the overall cleanliness. Also, the front desk is on the 14th floor, but rooms are on different levels, requiring separate elevators, which was a bit of a hassle. However, the service was excellent. The location is also fantastic, very close to the light rail station and shopping areas, which is perfect if you don't have a car. If you do, parking is 1500 JPY per day. While valet service is provided, you have to call them to retrieve your car, which felt a little inconvenient. A pleasant surprise was the La Mer toiletries, which were very nice. The room also featured a capsule coffee machine.

The only potential downside was that the bed felt a bit small. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the power outlets in Okinawa are the same as back home, so there was no need for a travel adapter. All the hotel staff spoke English, so communication was never an issue. Breakfast was also great. The location is superb, with the bus terminal directly downstairs, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere. It's only five stops from the airport, and Kokusai Street (International Street) is also very close by. Overall, it's a fantastic place. My only minor complaint is that the price felt a bit high compared to what I'd expect to pay in my home country. You access the hotel from the second floor, with the check-in lobby located on the 14th floor. From there, you take an elevator down to your respective room floor. The second floor also connects directly to the monorail station. The Okinawa Library is just opposite the hotel. Having a 7-Eleven and Family Mart convenience store right downstairs was extremely convenient.

Overall is Good

Extremely pleased with my stay; the room was wonderfully spacious! They offered welcome drinks upon check-in, and the lobby had complimentary face masks, cookies, and sunscreen available for guests. Plus, there was a capsule coffee machine right in the room! I later stayed a night at the JAL hotel on Kokusai Street, and honestly, I truly regretted it! I really should have just stayed here for another night instead. A taxi ride to Parco City cost about 80+ RMB.

Excellent customer service, room service, cleaniness, location and convenience! I am a repeated customer and will choose it again when revisit!

Everything is great. The only thing is having to change lift at the lobby floor, which becomes inconvenient when it is during rush hour. Other than that, nothing is bad.
