This is a true camp ground with structured building for sleeping, as well. Fran is delightful and Rahab is a great cook and full of positivity., both willing to go above and beyond as needed. Simple basic rooms with beds and bathroom. Super quiet while we were there. Definitely not a luxury camp if that’s what you’re looking for. However it has endless possibilities for bigger families wanting to spend quality time with one another. Loved walking to the edge to overlook the lake. Blossom, the dog, is a great little companion.

So homely and cozy. Great space to make new friends, to unwind and escape the city or to go out on a day out with loved ones. Camping is available and cottages. There is also a restaurant with delicious meals, freshly prepared. Home away from home!

Wir waren nun zum wiedeholten Mal auf unserer Reise nach Maralal an diesem wunderschönen und sehr erholsamen Ort. Die Atmosphäre, direkt über dem See gelegen ist einmalig. Die Besitzer, Franceska, Vanessa und Mikel sind sehr sehr freundlich und wir fühlen uns hier immer willkommen und zuhause. Das Personal, Rahab, Eliszabeth, Sami(?),... und auch der Führer Alex sind wunderbar und erfüllen jeden Wunsch. Das Essen ist lecker, die allerbesten Spanish Omelettes, die es in Kenia gibt. Die Cottages sind einfach, manche etwas renovierungsbdürftig aber sehr zweckmässig und geschmackvoll eingereichtet, Wunderbar sind die Terassen an den Cottages und die große Terasse samt dem Speiseraum mit einem gemütlichen und falls notwendig wärmendem Kamin der Extraklasse. Rundum genießen wir immer den Aufenthalt an diesem wunderschönen Fleckchen Erde. Euch allen, die Ihr vor Ort seid und arbeitet wünschen wir alles Gute und sagen Herzlichen Dank.
