Excellent service from front desk staff and housekeepers. The room was clean and spacious. Hotel was within the famed Confucius Temple area with lots of shops and restaurants. However, hotel buffet breakfast can be improved as the same dishes were served each morning.

The best location to stay with tourist attractions .but some places have smoke smell 🙋♂️

The hospitalities provided from hotel staffs are great. Free luggage storage, great location and near tourist attraction- strategic location. The deco of hotels are so great! Would definitely recommend to others. The free yogurts are nice too…

The Madison hotel 美仑酒店 is outstanding. While the rooms are starting to age, the service far outpaces any inconvenience due to the room conditions. The manager upgraded me to a larger room that had just been renovated for no extra charge and delivered caring service. He upgraded my room right when a swarm of guests, who all likely booked more expensive rooms that I did, entered the lobby. Yet, the manager prioritized me. That is not to say the older rooms are dirty or uncomfortable, the bedrooms are great, it’s just the bathrooms were due for upgrades during my stay. The service staff responds to requests thoroughly and the front desk staff is genuinely helpful and warm. They helped me look for cheaper booking methods for my reservation and let me check in early. My next trip to 南京 will center around 美仑 again.

The hotel is awesome. Located in a fuzimiao walking street. 10-15mins walk to laomendong. Hotel staff is friendly. Just that the hotel room is extremely far away from the lift and there’s only one lift.

The hotel is located in the middle of Fuzimiao, an ancient town shopping district. My husband and I really enjoyed the location. The staff are also friendly and helpful.

While location is good, the rooms are set up like a maze with only one access points to the main lobby. So while I can see the streets from my room I could not go down to the street via staircase as the access of which are closed. So to access out of the hotel into the street one had to walk along a long hotel corridor from one end to another crossing two street… management should consider having more access points internally for convenience and safety of room guest. The room decor is excellent but I wished the lighting could be better at the wash basin area.
