Oh dear. The recent multiple reviews of 8/10 and10/10 that encouraged us to book must be of a completely different hotel. Nice reception person. Efficient. No parking. Great local trains, trams and busses in the Gariboldi district where situated. Taxis available. The hotel has floor 6 and 7 of a residential apartment block accessed by its own lift serving Ground, 6 and 7. Check in more than acceptable. Our room was on the 7th floor. Walking in disappointing. Tight en-suite, broken toilet seat, door sticking on floor at just under half way open, very basic amenities. Reasonably clean but a few areas of concern. No kettle or cups. Fridge useful. Balcony doors opened up to a balcony larger than the room looking out over the town with Vesuvius in distance. Nice. Bed basic. Aircon good. Next door was staff area balcony? I always walk the means of escape. Glad I did because in emergency we would have been completely confused. Not up to UK standards and would fail our inspections. No signage assisting way out, storage blocking part of route and open to the residential parts of building which gave access from residents or anyone else from there to the hotel floors. Restaurant not available except for breakfast but we left before opened. Area quite cosmopolitan. Lots of street sleepers as in many of the worlds cities. Night Reception staff in morning again efficient and good, helpful. So: basic, nice view, probably not secure, adequate for functional stay but not for a holiday.

This is a hidden gem of a hotel! I stayed in a newly renovated room on the top floor. The room had a private terrace (with an outdoor shower) a hot tub in the room and the best air conditioning I've experienced! Breakfast was basic but sufficient. Hotel cleanliness was to a very high standard. The location near Centrale was excellent as a base for travelling around the Naples region. The area around the hotel isn't the best, but not unusual for any big city centre.

Stayed here for 3 nights. After reading stories here I was afraid what can I expect because people described it like a horror story. And they are wrong (unless something really went wrong for them or hotel changed). Hotel has small elevator. We were in room 606 on the 6th floor. Our room was for four person but we were only three. Room was spacious with balcony. Room had aircondition, tv (very small), small fridge and bathroom (needs renovation but its ok). Bathroom had shower. We got 10 towels and the staff changed them every day as well as cleaning our room. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Location is great because of its price and it s near city centre (Centro storico), stores, restaurants and main train station. Only problem is that near main station there s lots of homeles people and bumbs but we didnt had any problem although it isnt nice walking near them on night. All in all hotel has breakfast which is great (juice, water, fruit, caffe, tea, cereals, jams, croissants, toasts, cheese, butter, salami..) and would recommend staying here.

Very Decent & in heart of town too

Good clean Hotel . Amazing location next to Garibaldi Square . The staff were brilliant extremely pleasant and very helpful and they could not do enough for us . When I return to Naples I will definitely be staying here breakfast was also very good . Extremely good value for money would recommend especially for people on a budget. A truly great experience.

The room was large and the balcony was appreciated. The view was mediocre. Breakfast was less than mediocre. One advantage was that it is very close, and an easy walk, to the central station area where a huge number of tours have their pick up point. Area around the hotel looks dodgy but there is a fabulous restaurant one street back behind the hotel.

We did not accept 8 persons from Lithuania to the Hotel Garden Napoli. My colleagues and I had paid vouchers. From 07/04/2022, from 8:40 PM to 11:00 PM, we spoke to the hotel staff who threw us on the street. Only with the help of the director of the reservation system did we get another hotel. We do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Close to train station

It is cheap, budget place, which I dont mind for staying for the short city trip. But what is terrible about this place is the behaviour of the staff working in the hotel. They are very rude and unpolite. I was quite shock and very disappointed when the receptionist was calling to our room at 1 in the night. We were all ready deeply sleeping and he requested us to immediately move to the another room, because the water was leaking from the bathroom pipe. We were not even understand, whats going on, because he wasnt really speaking English at all. We ended up in the very cold room, without any apologise or compensation. I tried to ask why we can not just simply move in the morning instead of the packing our clothes in the middle of the night but I just got the answer in the italian language, which I can not understand. The new room was soo cold that I had to sleep in my jacket. There is simply nothing for breakfast. The woman work in the breakfast room doesnt seems to be care about anything more than about her phone. I asked for bread and she brought me some old hard toast packed in the cling film so I completely lost my appetite. There was not even the toaster. There was some small hard croissants, but only one for person and everything looks not fresh or tasty. You better to walk just couple of the steps in the street to the Grand cafe bar, where is lovely fresh bakery and coffee served and people are very nice to you. Dont make your day ruin with the breakfast in this hotel. The location is just couple of the minutes from the Garibaldi station and area is very dodgy, full of the refugees sleeping on the ground. If you order the airport transfer from this hotel, they will give you one of the staff working in the hotel with the small dirty car, but for the price like a official taxi. If you looking for some information about the Naples area, they can not speak English, so you better find on the google. I will simple not recommend you to stay in this place, is just completely waste of your money. You better to just book some airbnb and dont let this hotel to ruin your well deserved holiday.

Siamo attualmente ospiti della struttura ci sono stati ripuliti dal portafoglio di mio figlio 80 euro il signore all reception non ha saputo nemmeno darci il numero del direttore per un eventuale protesta totale disinteresse della situazione...molto grave l.episodio accaduto

Soggiorno pessimo! lo sconsiglio vivamente per non rovinare l'esperienza a Napoli. il personale scortese, non disponibile e musoni. camere orrende, con macchie di sangue sul pavimento e sulla tenda. la doccia piena di calcare e sporcizia, prese che non vanno, phone rotti e capelli sul lavandino. ascensore poco funzionante bisogna fare 6 piani di scale. si trova in una zona malfamata, non si può girare la sera perché é pericoloso. la colazione é l’unica cosa discreta dell’hotel. Una stella è anche troppo.
