"Location is 10mins walk from the central station. Pretty decent. Exterior of hotel looks very dodgey but the interior is fine. Room is very dated and looks like it’s from the ‘80s. Warm at night as air conditioning wasn’t functioning well (opening the windows wasn’t an option given the noise on the streets even at night). Toilet had a funky smell and the shower head was broken. Floor also sticky and slimy. Thankful we were only staying a night! Front desk was very friendly though."

"The hotel's location is fantastic, just a two-minute walk from the train station, with shops and cafes right downstairs. The interior decor is beautiful and everything is spotlessly clean. The owner is also incredibly kind and offered free breakfast and luggage storage. Highly recommend! 👍"

"Palazzo Caracciolo is a great place to stay right in the heart of Naples, perfectly located close to amenities and many traditional spots. We know Naples quite well and have stayed in many different accommodations over the years, and this is definitely one of the best we’ve experienced. What truly makes the difference is the staff. From reception to the kitchen, everyone was incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The room was fine overall, but there are a few areas that could use improvement. The hairdryer and the TV felt quite outdated, the mattress seemed a bit worn, and the pillows were much too soft for our taste. Despite these minor issues, the excellent location and the outstanding staff really improve the stay and make Palazzo Caracciolo a place we wil happily return to."

This hotel looked exquisite and modern in the photos on Ctrip, but the reality was completely different—it was practically a guesthouse from a 20th-century China. Actual vs. Promotional Photos: • Photos: Bright, clean, and tastefully decorated • Reality: Dark, dilapidated, outdated facilities, and appalling hygiene. At around 5000 RMB per night, I expected a quality stay, but instead, I was disappointed by a place that couldn't even provide basic cleaning. Every detail in the room revealed a lack of attention to detail, and the overall environment was filthy and chaotic. Most unacceptable is this: This practice of misleading consumers with heavily edited photos is essentially fraud. If I had known the truth beforehand, I would never have chosen to stay here, let alone paid such an exorbitant price. The uploaded photos show only the hotel entrance; the hotel itself is just an old, run-down building. I have already checked out and taken photos as evidence. I hope the platform will verify the authenticity of the photos and warn other travelers to be wary of such 'photo-shopped' listings. "This is not a hotel or B&B as described, It’s some kind of room renting ! No coffee or tea bags and when asked the answer was that they didn’t have any !! It was the only time we had seen someone ! "Upon arrival there was no one there to greet us , there was no safe storage to leave your suitcases unless you just want to leave them by the unmanned desk . the room had mould and flaking paint , no sound proofing noisy all through night wet room treacherous ,slippery floors, mouldy shower blinds and water covers everything in bathroom . Wet room sink nearly falling off ,No wifi , the room is on the ninth floor and you have to pay 10cents for lift every time you use it . I would avoid this place The only good thing is the location"

"I felt a strong sense of discomfort with the staff's attitude at the breakfast venue. I received no explanation or guidance about breakfast and was treated coldly, while Caucasian guests were clearly given polite and friendly service. This difference in treatment made it seem as though guests were treated differently based on nationality or appearance, which was very disappointing. As a hotel that welcomes guests from many countries, I strongly hope that the management will improve consistency and consideration in their customer service."
