The 5 bed female dorm was quite spacious and the ensuite bathroom was quite big, and both were very clean. The buffet breakfast included in the price was varied and delicious. The staff gave me useful advice for my trip. It was really easy to drop my bag off in the morning of check in and pick it up on the evening of check out without having to warn in advance. The location is perfect for taking the Circumvesuviana train to Sorrento or Pompei, or for any train leaving from Central station. The hostel has CCTV around, and I felt very safe there. The rules of the hostel were clear and reasonable. Whilst it's location is central, it is necessary to cross a few busy roads to get to it (especially if you come from Central station or Circumvesuviana) It is also not so well sign-posted but you just need to look carefully for the street number and street name. This hostel doesn't organise parties, bar crawls or evening events but is a place where you can get a good nights' sleep.

The bed is super comfortable, the breakfast is great and it's nice having a little balcony. Trip.com says the room has a kettle but it doesn't. In the winter it would be nice to have a kettle as well as slippers to walk on the cold marble floor, especially since I can't control the heat as it's controlled by the front desk. The front desk staff are very helpful with ordering taxis with flat rates so you won't get cheated.

The bar to have drinks in the evening is filthy, dirty table linens that are not linens, had marks that has been used and spilt drinks or food. The chairs and table feels and looks dirty, we took our drinks in our room instead. The breakfast has no cooked food just hard boiled eggs, bread are hard, people have to queue to wait to be served by 1 waiter, you cannot take from the table, waiter has to serve even coffee. It’s scary around the hotel, police are always there, dodgy shops around. Stay nearby or at hotels around Ovo Castle. It’s too dirty aroung Gibraldi station where this hotel is located.

Couples visit to Naples. Location - Good location just by the main train station (you can get Alibis straight from airport) with excellent transport links into main area of Naples via the Metro and beyond to Pompeii / Sorento etc. The immediate vicinity is a little rough but you can access the Hotel straight through the station so you don’t need to walk the local streets if you don’t want to. Head to baggage drop area in the station and continue on and take a right and it is signposted. Service - Good. Quick and straightforward. Checking in was literally 5 minutes if that and check out was 2 minutes. Staff friendly and polite. Hotel reception - clean tidy and modern. Hotel room - Superior double with a balcony. The room was clean and tidy and modern. Small TV, small mini fridge. Kettle with Tea included (no coffee tho) bathroom was clean and tidy. Bed a little hard and air-con stopped working during stay on the last night. Food - didn’t have the breakfast as couldn’t be bothered but had the breakfast room on the Sunday and it was good enough for a small bite. Would we visit the hotel again or recommend - it’s good value for money and once you know how to use Metro etc it’s a decent base for a really good price. Expect 3 star standard and you will be happy.

I really liked the Piazza Garibaldi location. I got off the train from Rome at night and was able to walk to this hotel in under 5 minutes. Woke up in the morning, got a coffee and a croissant from Via G Pica a block over, then spent my day walking down Via dei Tribunali. It's about a mile down that road to get to Museo Archeologico Nazionale, but along the way checked out Pio Monte della Misericordia (with its famous Caravaggio masterpiece Le sette opere di Misericordia), the Duomo, Cappella Sansevero, and took one of the archeological tours. Then came back and had dinner at one of the many lively restaurants that line the street along the Piazza.
You won't find this place in any tour book, but the accommodations were a good value for the price and a nice strong air conditioner kept me pretty comfortable during the hot summer nights.

We stayed at HG boutique hotel Toledo with 2 persons in the end of June 2022. The check in went smooth and was at a separate reception location, about 10 min walk from the actual hotel. They offered to bring us to the hotel by car, but we chose to walk. The hotel was located in the middle of the city centre, which was very nice! The room was clean, with a nice big bathroom and balcony overlooking the centre. Check out was very easy, as we only had to leave the keys in a basket. Overall we were very happy with the experience staying at HG boutique hotel Toledo!

L'hotel , in cui abbiamo alloggiato per quattro notti è classificato come 4 stelle , è pulito , nuovo , ha una bella posizione in collina sul mare , reception gentile e disponibile ma .... è come se non fosse ancora finito : le camere sono spaziose , il bagno anche , ma non c'è un arredo . niente armadio su cui poter disporre le maglie , non cè un mobile su cui appoggiare le valigie , solo degli attaccapanni a vista in una nicchia del muro !! ho dovuto usare una specie di comodino trasparente come unica soluzione per il trolley ( l'alternativa era il pavimento ) e cosi non avevo più un appoggio per il telefono , gli occhiali ecc nell'ascensore ci sono ancora tracce della plastica che riveste le porte scorrevoli nel bagno non c'è niente per appoggiare gli asciugamani , se non dei ganci nel box doccia , per altro molto grande L'impianto di riscaldamento /condizionatore non funzionava e abbiamo atteso inutilmente il manutentore ( capisco il periodo di vacanza ) e si è optati per una stufa portatile , in vero un ottimo Dyson . In compenso ottima e ben fornita la prima colazione !!! Insomma l'hotel a mio avviso ha delle grandissime potenzialità ancora non del tutto espresse

Io e il mio ragazzo abiamo trascorso una notte di relax in una delle Junior Suite di questo hotel scoperto per caso ma che si è rivelato una piacevole scoperta. La camera dal design rustico, così come il resto dell'hotel, l'angolo della vasca idromassaggio con finte decorazioni floreali e luci a LED colorate creano un'a**osfera intima, rilassante e suggestiva. La chicca che abbiamo adorato è stata la cassa bluetooth per ascoltare la musica in vasca! La stanza era dotata tutti i servizi necessari, la pulizia top e ci hanno dato la possibilità di cenare in camera ordinando dall'esterno (noi abbiamo chiamato Glovo, ma ci hanno offerto dei volantini di qualche pizzeria/ristorante nei dintorni). Abbiamo anche apprezzato moltissimo gli orari di check-in e check-out (si poteva lasciare la camera entro le 12.00 facendo tutto con molta calma) e la colazione poteva essere sia ordinata e servita in camera scannerizzando un QR CODE, sia consumata al bar (fino alle 11.30) in cui abbiamo trovato un piccolo buffet davvero ben fornito, variegato e con prodotti di qualità. Sicuramente il rapporto qualità-prezzo è ottimo e siamo rimasti sorpresi e soddisfatti. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente!

RRip RipWe booked feeling a little nervous as we read the various reviews but also hesitated with little experience of a B&B Guest house.
There seemed very few choices in Naples ( Chiaia district) a prime , safer area ; to have a suite with some kitchenette and a very reasonable price.
We were warmly welcomed to our studio suite, spacious , well organised with a lot of thought in the location of design of fixtures and furniture; seating to take breakfast, working desk and or relax on the sofa.
Brightly lit room with big “can open” sound proof windows or option to use the air conditioning system . Views of the nearby residential apar**ents actually helped us feel at home ( even though we were not able to enjoy the Naples sea view)
Bed, mattress , linen and pillows were fine ( for those who require more specific finer finishes should not go to a Guest house)
Bathroom was practical and had all that one needed, with hand held shower and rain shower installed.
Kitchenette had electric stove , coffee maker, kettle , Fridge and utensils. Again sufficient for a 4 night stay.
Any longer an oven or toaster would have been nice to heat up bread.
The highlight worth mentioning, as most reviews have , is Massimo who helped us with recommendations, guided us with a local map, booked day tour to Pompeii, our taxi and so much more..
Honestly, for those of us who have been lucky to stay in 5 star hotels will know that you don’t always get this type of discreet professional reliable hospitality that Massimo has shown us.
If you don’t mind staying at a guest house which may sound daunting , or that the entrance of the building may be slightly off the side street but having read this review will reassure you that the 24 hours security guards and the gated premises made it feel like a home away from home.

CChristutiWhat a wonderful experience!!! The room was just perfect. Extremely spacious room and the tub/jacuzzi was an excellent addition. Bathroom was a comfortable size. Kitchenette was also a wonderful surprise (I don’t remember reading about it when I booked). Mini fridge was perfect to keep water bottle and beverages cold. Very cleaned and beautifully presented. The view from the room was just great and the location couldn’t be more perfect. Walking distance from the port (great as I had planned on visiting Capri and Ischia) and many other sightseeing musts. Also many places to eat and stores around the block. The host was also extremely helpful, charming and attentive. She allowed us to keep our bags in the lobby and do check-in early as we were ready visit and sightsee many places as soon as we got there around noon. She was also of great help after we checked-out, as I accidentally left the car keys in the lobby, I was able to recover them. All in all we had a great experience and time and will definitely stay again. Highly recommended.

PPengguna Tetamu3rd hotel we’ve stayed in on Piazza Garibaldi. The location might be a problem for some as there are a lot of people hanging around in the square and side streets but it felt safe to me. In fact I enjoyed sitting on our first floor balcony 12 feet above the pavement where a lot of locals were hanging out; it added to the charm of the place. It has a tiny ground floor footprint and is accessed via a door in the side street. Pretty unremarkable on arrival. But when you get onto the first floor the corridors and bedrooms are white marble throughout - floor and walls. It does look good but means the corridors are echoey. Room itself is good quality but I have concerns about the bathrooms and particularly the shower. Any interior designer surely knows that wet feet on untreated marble are a nasty accident waiting to happen: the 2 just don’t mix. The marble floor of the shower is downright dangerous; once you’ve rinsed off the shower gel, etc being in the shower is like driving with bald tyres on black ice. There’s nothing to hold onto to steady yourself either. I urge the hotel to provide a Bath mat in each room to mitigate this risk. But for this I’d have scored it 4. Breakfast is taken in the basement and I thought it fine. All the staff we spoke to were pleasant and professional.

PPengguna Tetamu Ho alloggiato dal 15 al 17 aprile 2023 in questo b&b con il mio ragazzo. Inutile dire che non ci vedranno MAI più. Arriviamo in una zona degradata, piena di ragazzi di colore che ti guardano male, svestiti, mal nutriti, che cercavano nei cassonetti e camminavano scalzi. Nonostante questo aspettiamo Paolo , il nostro addetto al check-in, davanti il portone. Erano le 08:30 del mattino, arriva e dice pure che aveva tardato perché era un orario straordinario per arrivare quello, quando noi volevamo lasciare solo i bagagli e andare via. Comunque ci ha fatto pagare e ci ha chiesto 10€ in più per le tasse, noi abbiamo detto che era tutto compreso e non ha chiesto più nulla e poi ci ha aperto la stanza. Stanza carina e normale, peccato per gli asciugamani pieni di macchie gialle, ma noi avevamo le nostre per fortuna. All entrata del B&b si trova una saletta con dei tavolini e delle signore che la mattina preparano la colazione inclusa nel prezzo , di cui noi non abbiamo usufruito perché irritati dai rumori e dalle voci delle stesse alle 07:30 di mattina che purtroppo ci hanno svegliato tutti e due giorni. Per quei pochi giorni di relax che una persona ha, vorrebbe svegliarsi all orario che le pare, ma vabbè . La prima sera usciamo di casa e troviamo dentro il cortile del palazzo su per giù 10 ragazzi di colore chi in piedi chi coricati a terra e chi mangiava. Usciamo e decidiamo di chiamare il proprietario per lamentarci della situazione poco sicura e ci risponde con “non so che dirti” e alla nostra affermazione che potevamo ritornare dopo cena solo accompagnati dalle forze dell ordine, risponde con “se vi fa sentire più sicuri”. Nel frattempo avevamo cercato pure Paolo che dopo averci detto come poteva aiutarci, presentatogli il problema visualizza e non risponde. Non solo, tornati nel B&b e per fortuna c era solo un ragazzo che dormiva davanti il portone, le chiavi non funzionano bene. Cioè non puoi fare neanche di fretta perché devi provare ad aprire 2-3 volte. Noi ve lo consigliamo, ci siamo trovati male e non abbiamo avuto nessun appoggio e aiuto, potevano trovarsi benissimo li solo delle ragazze e essere aggredite.

PPengguna TetamuThe good: Great location, right next to Garibaldi train station. Plenty of places to eat nearby. The lift is great. It does have a slot to put 10 cents in, but if you don't have a ten cent coin, the lift still works. The bad: We had booked and paid for 14 nights to stay at Chez Moi. We arrived on the first day at 6:00 p.m. We phoned the owner, and he sent a woman around. We followed her into the reception area. She then told us we couldn't stay there. After having read other reviews, I thought ”OK we're going to be sent around the corner to the Hotel Poker”, which is what Chez Moi does sometimes. But no, we weren't that fortunate. She repeated that we couldn't stay there. I showed her the proof that we had booked and paid (using both my phone and paper printouts) but she said we couldn't stay. She then escorted us out of the premises and locked the door. I understand that mix-ups happen sometimes, but there's no need to humiliate your guests like that. I phoned our travel company (who had made the booking) and they said they would contact the owner of Chez Moi to sort it out. After a couple of hours, I rang them again, and then a few more times. A couple of times, someone from Chez Moi would turn up and tell us we couldn't stay. I said ”Can you at least give me my money back so we can find somewhere else?” But they would just walk away. We spent most of the night sitting on the steps outside of the B&B with our suitcases. We made the other guests who walked past us feel very uncomfortable. I think they thought we were beggars, and seeing us made them feel anxious. But we were paying guests just like them. Finally at 3:30 a.m., 9½ hours after arriving, I received an email (thankfully I still had a few percent of battery left on my phone) from my travel company saying Chez Moi had overbooked and had no rooms left, and we should find somewhere else to stay. It was too late to find anywhere at that time, but I'm happy to say we did get somewhere else for the other 13 nights. We know the treatment we received at Chez Moi does not represent the rest of the Neapolitan people. We would go back to Naples. But we don't want to go to a B&B that treats its paying guests with contempt. Note to Chez Moi: It seems like you have a nice place, and it's in a great location, but please learn from this experience, and start treating your guests as humans – thank you.

PPengguna TetamuI had a short overnight stay so the location is ideal about 400m walking from the main train station. Although a good location it is not a good area at night, a lot of homeless people but there are also some nice restaurants on Garabaldi Square and good coffee shops nearby for pastries and coffee for breakfast. The Hotel reception is on the 2nd floor of the building, big staircase and as others say no lift. Not good for older people or if you have big luggage to carry. The Checkin was fine, the man explained the basics and took me to my room. The cleanliness was perfect, so clean, plenty of fresh white towels, and bathroom was spotless, no problem there. He also gave me the remote control for the air conditioning and that also worked really great so you could sleep well. Bed was fine, seemed clean also, as someone said Quirky decoration. And surprisingly quiet. So if you aren’t after a fancy hotel room it’s fine. Only Basic liquid soap amenity supplied. The Front door is locked at 8 pm, and the hotel rooms access, they give you a keys to access, so it seems quite safe, closing early in that area is probably a good thing . Easy to walk to the Old Town and all the sights.
