Clean room, older building. Close to Brooklyn Bridge and Wall Street. The rooms with views are alright but the building is not that high. Warm cookie at check in was great.

This hotel is in a great location for Willimasburg. Lots of great restaurants and stores you can walk to. The facilities are very nice, with a restaurant and roof top bar on location. The 10% offered for the roof top was questioned and I didinot receive it. The service at the roof top was sub-par. The bartenders were not that busy, but never looked up at you while waiting, they were not friendly at all. The beer my daughter got from the tap was not cold. The prices are hig. That said, I would recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to be in the heart of Williamsburg, and ok with the tiniest hotel room I've ever stayed in!

Hotel is located in a very convenient place, public parking is right across from the hotel, 10 minutes walk to Time Square. 15 minutes walk train station. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. We stayed there for two nights, room is small and has only basics but functions, I am happy we stayed there.

The hotel is located across from the ferry station so you can get to Manhattan within 7 minutes. It was great! The staff was super nice and the room was spacious. The breakfast is your average hotel breakfast, cold hard boil eggs, fruit, cereal and yogurt and those awful prepackaged sandwiches with fake meat and fake eggs. I definitely would stay here again, the view is pretty and the location is great!

No frills hotel. Convenient location, express bus service to midtown Manhattan across the street.

I just stayed at the Motto in Times Square for the weekend, and had a great experience. First, let me say that I was born and raised in NYC (I live about 30 miles north of NYC now), so I know the NYC area very well, and it was such a joy to experience the city as a ”tourist” for the weekend. The hotel is in a great location near Times Square, where access to public transportation is very easy, as well as to restaurants, and Broadway shows. The hotel is very efficient and modern. The rooms are cozy, and very comfortable. The service is excellent, and the breakfast menu is delicious. I very much enjoyed my stay at the Motto in Times Square.

Luckily we booked this hotel as opposed to Hampton Inn. Our Uber sent us to the wrong hotel which is Hampton Inn, their customer service is extremely bad and they never even attempted to check my record to confirm my booking. Only at the end of the day, we realised the driver sent us to the wrong hotel. After comparing Hampton with Holiday Inn. I strongly recommend Holiday Inn. their customer service is wonderful.

Lovely small room w thin walls but amazingly clean with great flare /design/optimization of tight quarters .. fifth ave two doors down … ie perfect herald sq shopping vicinity plus grest restaurants /bars … a 3 day wonderful trip w a speedy check in /out process…. The Draper…. Wonderful for those exploring the city and wishing to avoid the safety concerns of times sq!

Above all the location is perfect you're only one block away from the Port authority building and there's a lot of restaurants in the area however the only thing that was really a problem was they have three elevator Banks it's a 40 floor bldg. and there was a wait sometimes for up to 15 minutes other than that everything was okay. Little kitchenette came in really handy however there was only one control knob for a two burner stove top dishwasher was great to have and they only had plates basically for two people nothing really extra but considering it was a small kitchenette in a hotel that did offer breakfast it was okay

To begin with, I must stress that we only used our room, and spoke to staff on the reception area. I’ve no idea on the quality of the rooftop bar nor restaurant at the hotel. Location: We booked knowing that this was in the Financial district, but I was elated with the location. We got the air-train & subway from JFK and the hotel is just a few blocks from Fulton Street Subway station. I am a quick walker, and found that the World Trade Center was only 5 minutes from the hotel, the same with Wall Street / the waterfront which was a great location to me. There were plenty of shops / restaurants / etc. in the area (where doesn’t have that in NYC?). There was construction work taking place across the street from the hotel entrance, but never any issues with traffic or noise. Reception / Staff: We arrived in the evening on a Wednesday and the staff on reception were really welcoming as we were checking in. They were taking the time to say hello to returning guests as they came through the lobby. We experienced this ourselves whenever we returned to the hotel. It may be a small thing, but it showed good customer service to me. Room: A lot of rooms in NYC are “small” when compared to counterparts in other cities so I never expect masses of space. I was happy with the size of our room when we arrived. We were on the 21st floor, and our room was on the corner overlooking the front of the building and the construction site across the street. There was small walkway between the door to the room and the bedroom. 2 of us stayed there with 2 cases and we found enough room to move around. The bed was comfortable, everything in the room worked. We had a coffee machine and bottled water given to us for drinking. The bathroom had a shower & toiletries, and it was clear everything was clean. When I'm back in NYC, I'd happily stay here again!
