The hotel is more like a hostel. Very small rooms small double bed or bunk beds because you will not fit two single beds in the room. Shower very good.
No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Yes tv. No breakfast included. You have to go to a nearby cafe to get a proper meal. You can get various coffee and tea bagels scones continental style breakfast in the bar area in the POD. For 4 nights accommodation only Thursday to Sunday cost app 1200.00 euro per room.

The hotel was definitely a bit dated , but we had a great room , very clean and comfortable and large king bed on the 12th floor. Staff were very friendly ! I was concerned about negative reviews about people getting refunds for cancellations, but took a chance anyway , glad we did . I booked directly with wyndam and the price was reasonable , would definitely stay here again !

Awesome! This hotel was perfect! This is the second time I’ve stayed here. The front desk person (Stephanie) was so helpful. I needed to know the best route to the NYC Half start line and Jamie (GM) was able to make sure I knew of street closures and the best way to get there on time. We had a great weekend and great time overall! The room was big and the bed was very comfortable. We had a mini fridge, microwave, couch, table in our room. Will absolutely stay here again! Thanks!

We really enjoyed our stay. Only a $4.50 bus ride to NYC. Bus picks you up in front of hotel. Also close to dream mall. Rooms were clean, good breakfast, and showers were hot. Hotel is a short ride to American Dream Mall. Very reasonably priced. Will stay again.

TTressa CatalinaWas perfect for what we needed. It could've been a little cleaner, and the toiletries were not excellent - glad we brought our own this time. The hotel offered free luggage storage, which was great as we arrived around 10 am. The bar closed at 11 inside the hotel & didn't serve food. :( Elevator took a while to get on since there were only 2, and they always seemed busy. It wasn't too noisy - especially for New York. Great location - Carnegie Diner was just two blocks away. Also close to Seraphina, Ellen's Stardust Diner & Times Square.

PPengguna TetamuI went on a girls trip and took a red eye to New York. Check-in was a breeze, and being greeted with a reusable water bottle was so nice! It's also close to the subway so getting around to the different places we wanted to go was easy. Staff was incredibly pleasant, made sure I had plenty of towels. The breakfast and hours of indulgence in the evening was amazing. Usually I do a little shopping for some basics, but I didn't need to this time. The water dispenser and coffee machines were life savers on more than one occasion. I've already told my husband we need to stay here when we do a couples trip.

PPengguna TetamuThe location near Bryant Park is ideal. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. I asked for a room that had not recently had a pet stay, because of my allergies, and they actually took the time to check on that. Our ac was not working initially, but when I called, they fixed it quickly. The room was gigantic and smelled fresh but as others have said, the furniture is old. I didn’t mind as the decor was nice, and it was clean, but the couch was disgusting and I avoided sitting on it. The kitchen and bathroom were in good condition. We took the advice to avoid peak elevator times and didn’t have a problem, but that meant we had to get up earlier than we would have liked. We asked for a late checkout and got it; no problem. Overall, I thought the pluses outweighed the minuses.

PPengguna TetamuI thought the room was very large (compared to some tiny NYC rooms I’ve stayed) I appreciated the view from the room and the bar. I did not notice sound in my room despite being right in the center of action in Times Square. If you like being close to tons of people (I do) then this is a great spot. If you prefer a quiet spot, be aware of the proximity to all of the people. Based on the other reviews, I double checked my bill. The credit for food was not correct. They were helpful and fixed it after I asked. The patty melt was delicious! Overall I would stay again, but was just a little annoyed that I had to request that the bill be corrected. The room was clean and comfortable.

MMadelineWest Side YMCA is excellent for what it is! It’s a reasonably priced hostel in an amazing location. Right across the street from the west side of central park and a 5 min walk to the Columbus Circle subway station, which gives you access to various main train lines to the various neighborhoods and boroughs of NYC. You also get access to the pool and gym. My only gripe was with the cleanliness. The beds, sheets, and towels were clean (thank god), but the floor could have used a sweeping and a cleaning. Like I said, great for what it is. I’d definitely stay there again!

MMisti WallerWe get there at 10:00am - We knew we couldnt check in but asked anyway. Lady on Thurs 9/28 told me we couldnt yet and gave us bag tags to hold our bags for us. Very nice and pleasant. We then return to the hotel at 9pm to finally check in. We had a great day seeing the city. We are then told that the room I booked was over sold and they can not provide me with a King that I purchased but a double. This was the manager - She discounted the bill and $54 and told me they would make sure we were accommodated tomorrow. The room we were put it was the size of a walk in closet with a bed with a window unit that water dropped on all night making a loud noise with every drop. It also had a broken shelf above the sink so you literally had no where to put anything. It was horrible and honestly a $54 discount was not nearly enough.
Friday at 9am we come down turn in the room keys and explain to yet a third person....she understands and says I see notes here and we have a king room for you. I asked if we could go ahead and get the room number but she said no not yet we have to wait for the people to check out. We check our bags with tags and leave them at the desk again. We then spend another wonderful day exploring the city. We return around 9pm again and another person is working and has absolutely no idea of anything that was supposed to be done for us. I asked for any other room then the one we were in first and they had a queen room available. I took it after being so tired. The lady gave me the managers email and said he would speak to her for us. I will be reaching out but now that we checked out sat morning I dont believe we will be compensated for this terrible lack of communication. We never even got to unpack our bags.
