Overall is ok but expensive . Location is good . Perfect for business. Breakfast not that good & very costly. Service need to improve but for me is ok . It’s in the Times Square all amenities is there . Room size is ok . Hotel should low down there breakfast cost in USA . Compare to other countries New York hotel is not that good .

Loved this hotel, the views and the rooms are all incredible but the standout is the staff. The room service was tasty and prompt and everyone was so helpful. We were here for my moms birthday and they really helped make it so special. I would definitely recommend staying here!

I went on a girls trip and took a red eye to New York. Check-in was a breeze, and being greeted with a reusable water bottle was so nice! It's also close to the subway so getting around to the different places we wanted to go was easy. Staff was incredibly pleasant, made sure I had plenty of towels. The breakfast and hours of indulgence in the evening was amazing. Usually I do a little shopping for some basics, but I didn't need to this time. The water dispenser and coffee machines were life savers on more than one occasion. I've already told my husband we need to stay here when we do a couples trip.

First, I'd like to thank Daniel, Efren, Omar, and the entire staff for their excellent service. They made this trip truly enjoyable and demonstrated why one should choose to stay at the CDMX above all other options. The hotel is beautiful and a truly luxurious experience. Furthermore, this hotel is in the middle of everything. It's very easy to walk to nearly every tourist destination and it's right on the hop on/hop off bus route. I would highly recommend for you trip to CDMX.

The first thing I will mention is that the hotel is 5 star and is expectedly, very expensive, being in the heart of Times Square. I took this into account when writing my review. If I am paying that much, my expectations would be higher than normal. I stayed for 12 nights over the Christmas and NY period so I obtained a very comprehensive view of the hotel and everything about it. Overall it was a very comfortable stay and the staff were always there to attend to any requests and issues. The moment I got out of my transfer car, there was a lovely young gentleman waiting to get all my bags and transport me upstairs to the reception. The check-in was reasonably flawless but there was a bit of confusion around the payment because of resort fees the hotel charges daily. I prepaid my booking and there was confusion over whether it included or excluded the resort fee. The reception area is immaculately presented and the bar and restaurant are both located here. I intended to use the gym during my stay, but didn't have time to even take a peek. Nor did I visit the bar or restaurant. There's way too many options outside to do that. The very polite and courteous young gentleman then took me up to my room. He showed me everything and away he went. I got a bit of a room upgrade which I highly appreciated and had a beautiful view of Times Square. I was on the 2nd highest floor, floor 39. The room is not big. It was adequate for one person but nothing more. I don't think I would be able to stay here if I was with another person. It would be too uncomfortable and I had to find space for my 2 suitcases and carry-on. The bathroom is open plan, with a door for the shower and toilet. A big problem I had in my room was that if it was windy you will hear a loud whistle coming through the bottom of the front door. It really annoyed me. I had to take the cover off the bed and make a snake shape to block the gap underneath the door to stop the noise. Even a bath towel didn't work. They need to fix this. The hotel is very new and the rooms are very beautifully equipped, presented and maintained. I was pleased to see that most of the things I requested before I arrived (some extra bath mats, bath towels, hand towels, face towels, mini fridge, bathroom scale) were mostly there upon arrival. I quantified the number of towels I needed as I was not getting any housekeeping during my 12 night stay but I did not get the quantity requested. I expected a bit more attention to detail for a 5 star hotel. Before I arrived I was asked if I was celebrating a special occasion and Guest Services pushed up my expectations as I was celebrating a special occassion and they said something nice, I assume maybe a cake or some alcohol would be waiting for me in the room. When I arrived there was nothing. And there was never going to be anything throughout my stay. I didn't mind and only remembered towards the end of the stay. Arrived very late, the lady at the front desk was wonderful and very helpful. Also on our last night helped us tremendously as far as transportation to the airport since there were road closures due to a parade We were able to get a car right at our door and not have to use a taxi nor other! Nice location, you can walk in the heart of NYC and be at the hotel in a couple minutes. The breakfast really surprises me, I wasn’t expecting the amount of food and the selection we had. The room I got had a weird smell and the for really hard to open with the card. But everything else with es really good

Very close to Grand Central station. Many restaurants nearby too. Clean rooms, great for coffee people as drinking water and tea coffee are available the whole day in business center. Rooms big and bright, really new. Just you have to wait for the elevator for a while during rush hour. Will stay again.

Check in was quick. We were on the first floor and it was so loud at night -- the lobby worker had friends visiting whose voices echoed in the lobby until midnight. In the morning, the beeping of the waffle maker in the breakfast area was loud, even from the tin with the door closed. There were hairs on the bathroom and bed that were clearly not ours as they were not our hair type. The bathroom was so cramped that you cannot open the door fully because it hits the toilet. There was noise very loud in our room from what I think was hotel workers moving things. However, the price was low, the location was great, and it didn't feel unsafe. You get what you pay for, and it fulfilled our basic needs for a one night stay in the city.

Stayed in this IHG one night Sunday May 7th. Yes small bathrooms and small vanity but the breakfast and service was almost like a zombie apocalypse happened. We got down there way before breakfast ended and there was NOTHING left in terms of soemthing to drink. Name it, it was gone. No water, juice, milk. Oops the coffee machine to the left might have been working. My wife asked about it at front desk the lady cleaning up, but not really since all trash bins were overflowed, could not understand. I asked for a knife and finally when I acted it out did she get it. The frig, literally NOTHING IN IT. I have never seen that before at an IHG. No bagels, no muffins. When I got there there were 2 cinnamon rolls left, I got one of them. I took pics of the empty stuff, I took pics of the trash. This went off the rails when my wife asks for a muffin and tells of the situation and it's like come down sooner. Like what? No sorry? My wife was incensed. Then another lady, MUCH BETTER WITH hospitality skills, started passing out bottled water she got from storage for people. We got 2 of those. Yes there was PLENTY of eggs and sausage. That was literally it. I have never seen that before. Yes the bathroom vanity was small. The door kept opening even if you cracked it. The room was larger but built around the subway sound of the elevator shafts. The sound didn't bother us much but in am wow. Just a tough stay. The bed was nice. The room temp was easliy controlled. I am shocked at the disaster of the morning. Never seen that as Platinum member in almost 20 years of staying at IHG's. I feel I should write a letter to the hotel. The issue was just no way to fix anything. NO one was wow out of that, ok will get more. There was no one to really help anyone. I felt terrible for a set of parents with 2 kids. I was like not much around, try to get water. They had some sausage on a plate. There was a few slices of bread left as well. Stunningly bad. Happliy some guy came and braught my wife a frozen bagel we want to room and thawed with a hair-dryer. I took a pic of that too. We love IHG's over marriott but this was a fun on miss from what we saw at 910am on.

Check-in on your own using one of the check-in machines when you enter the hotel. 10 mins walk to Port Authority Bus Terminal and 15 mins to Times Square. Cosy and comfortable room, was kept clean by housekeeping daily. Loved the bed as you can adjust it up and down.

Our room was perfect for the one night we were in town before heading out on cruise the next day. It was really spacious in comparison to another NYC hotel that I stayed in. The beds were comfortable, the room but the bathroom was a little dated.The hotel is within easy walking distance of Times Square and the hustle and bustle associated with the area.if I have any complaints it's that the elevator was small and slow but however i would return in the future.
