Hotel berhampiran Blue Star Studio, Nice

We intended to only stay here for its proximity to the airport, as we would be taking a flight to Rome the next day. It also was right next door to Nice’s botanical garden and it’s miniscule Asian museum which we could visit right after we checked in. Unfortunately, that one day expanded to seven because we had everything stolen out of our car ( by gypsies, per the Carabinieri) by the Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi, including my wife’s portable oxygen concentrator, which we were unable to replace in time to get on the plane to Rome ( airlines will not allow you to fly without one after you have had a doctor certify that you need to use it while flying on the plane ). So instead of spending the next 12 days or so seeing Caserta, Naples, Capri and the Amalfi Coast, etc., we spent more than half of that time just trying to still find a place to purchase a replacement concentrator. It did give us more time to see what this hotel was about. We had two somewhat different rooms, as we kept on extending our stay one or two days at a time and eventually had to switch because the room was booked by someone else. Both rooms had an almost college dorm feel, but that wasn’t bad, just a little minimalist. We got a larger room and it was plenty big, which we needed. It was reasonably bright, with big windows. The bed was a good size and comfortable. The bathroom was also fairly big and the shower worked well. The second room was very similar, but a little smaller, yet still perfectly adequate for our needs. The TV was a decent size and quality in both rooms. The hotel was newish and in good shape. The staff was young, competent and professional. Mostly friendly, with one jarring episode that temporarily left a bad taste in our mouths. The next day he was fine. Sometimes, you just catch someone at their worst. The location is great for the airport, less so to see the tourist sites. You can take the tram which stops frequently very close to the hotel is cheap and takes maybe 10 minutes to go downtown. A taxi will cost 12-15 euros. What’s the bottom line? It was a perfectly fine stay. No major defects. Certainly if you need a place a to stay overnight before taking a flight out of the airport, this should suit your needs, particularly the large rooms for families, who might enjoy the breakfast ( we did not indulge – we are cheap ). I would probably stay at the Hotel Cote D’Azur, which was better situated for tourism purposes. Just a quick word about Nice. While Nice has a number of places to see, none are overwhelming, including the very good, but much smaller Chagall museum. In fact, the cathedral, the Matisse museum, and the Musée du Palais Lascaris are actually underwhelming. Yet I highly recommend visiting Nice, as it is one of the most pleasant and relaxing places we have ever visited. The walk along the water and the views from up high are lovely. Très bonne surprise. Nous avions réservé cet hôtel pour un concert. Excellent choix : proche du stade , proche du tram pour se rendre dans le centre avant le concert , proche des commodités (boulangerie , banque etc) le parking (gratuit)est un vrai plus (nous sommes venus tôt pour être sûr de pouvoir se garer. La chambre était bien pour 2. En revanche la douche ! Minuscule ! Pas grave , je ne suis pas épais !!! Personnel très sympathique. Je recommande cet endroit et une chose est sûre , nous reviendrons si il a un bon concert à l’Allianz !

We had a brilliant stay here, just after New Year. It was comparatively warm weather and we had come down from Paris slowly taking a bit more than a week to reach the Riviera. Nice was still dressed for Christmas and we wanted to be walking distance from the old Town. This is a very nicely done hotel in a heritage building, so the typical tiny old fashioned lift. Big bedrooms and bathrooms, and 2 minutes walk to the central plaza. Parking is in a separate building a block - and 2 minutes - away so convenient enough not to be a problem. Excellent staff, spotlessly clean rooms and crisp linens. A lovely spot place to spend some time.

Very Nice Place and top services. Professional Staff and bar activities very Fun. The Place stay's very close to the Train Station and 5 Minutes walking from the Massena Area. Rest Rooms and bed Rooms Always Clean. Service available for every kind of service. Highly Recommended!

Hotel ini sangat bersih dan kemas. Lalu lintas sangat mudah. Keluar adalah pelabuhan lama Nice, terdapat banyak bas untuk pergi ke pelbagai tarikan. Ia juga berjarak 5 minit berjalan kaki ke pantai. Keadaan sekeliling sangat meriah, semua jenis restoran dan pasar raya, tidak terlalu bagus

The hotel offered a comfortable experience with its 24/7 reception, ideal for early departures. Moreover, guests could rent a boiler for a 20€ deposit. Three towels were provided, and guests could request replacements if needed, without any additional laundry charges if the towels were exchanged due to being used. However, it's important to note that daily cleaning services were not provided.

Hôtel qui n'a rien a envier au 4 étoiles, séjour exceptionnel. Ils ont réussi à nous surprendre pour notre anniversaire de mariage. C'est le meilleur hôtel 3 étoiles que nous ayons fait jusqu'à présent.

We really liked this hotel. Staff were helpful. Breakfast was varied and excellent. The dinner was probably the most reasonably priced in Monaco area. Room was clean with air-conditioning a great shower and comfy bed etc. Also there is an excellent view from the roof terrace. The hotel is however on a very steep hill which is quite challenging on foot from the railway station. Here is how to do it.... Go up the escalator from the platforms. Pass Starbucks on your right. Pass the elevators on the left and enter what seems to be the carpark. There is now another elevator on the left. Get in and press 0. This takes you up most of the hill. Exit the lift and go left uphill and around a few tight bends ( probably about 150meters). You will see the sign for the hotel but the entrance is around the corner. This will save you a massive amount of effort dragging your cases I promise. Monaco is covered in ecsalators, lifts and tunnels. Finding them is fun and saves a lot of energy. It's a great place to visit, enjoy!

Pool is owned by Nikki Beach, so hotel guests are only provided complimentary lounge chairs at Nikki’s discretion. You are forced to either pay 200+ Euro for a daybed, or awkwardly sit/hang out on the narrow corners of the pool. Nikki beach tries to provide a and adult day party atmosphere with DJ, bottle service and hookah, but small kids were playing in the pool all day. Room smelled like stale cigarettes, old stains on the carpet, bathroom had zero ventilation and fogged up like a sauna any time you turn on the shower, everything gets wet and stays wet. For some reason a moldy bath mat was rolled up and propped to the side of the tub upon arrival. All staff were very professional and accommodating, met the level of service I would expect at a luxury hotel. Location is decent, Nobu inside the lobby, short walk to Buddha Bar and ******, about 15 min walk to the beach. There was a lot of construction going on (August 2023) surrounding the hotel, several cranes obstructing the views.
