Reception was shocking, everytime we needed assistance the wait was long and customer service not good, no one could be bothered. Small bar not a problem but no stock not even ice. The indoor pool was a good size but guest were allowed to walk in and out through the dining area wet with no shoes on straight into the lift. There seemed to be a lot of young people and familes being housed there, again not a problem but there was no hotel experience or service for the paying guest. The rooms were really nice and clean lots of space but the night we arrived one guest had been beaten up and had to be attended to by paramedics and police. Not sure how they got in as needed key card to enter lift. The saving grace for me was the roof terrace and pool, good space, lovely pool and the fact that were english and the weather was hot for us we had the whole area to ourselves as it was to cold for everyone else. The train runs almost directly behind the hotel which is cheap and a good way to travel in and out of the center. I would not stay here again.

This is a good hotel to stay in, if you want a self catering option. We had a studio room, which was fine for a week. However, for any longer,we would have booked a one bedroom apartment. It is in a good location being within walking distance to old Nice and near to the tram stops, The trams are frequent and easy to use. The shopping centre opposite the hotel houses restaurants, chemists and a huge supermarket. The hotel staff all speak English and are very friendly and extremely helpful. We would happily stay here again.

This hotel by far exceeded our expectations. The price is unbeatable, the studio is fresh and well equipped. We had a small balcony and there’s also the patio upstairs. Very close to the sea too. All you can ask for, really. Kind and accommodating staff.

Our reservation on arrival was not entirely correct but in the end it was resolved. At the hotel, I would expect a change of used towels, add toilet paper and take out the rubbish which did not happen. The hangers were missing. The hotel is a bit run-down. I would not recommend breakfast, it is very poor compared to previous years. The hotel is not entirely for romance but enough for an overnight stay.

29 September - 7 October, 9 nights We had the most lovely, relaxed, well-cared-for stay at this hotel. The location is close to Le Gare Nice-Ville, so it’s very easy to take the train to Villefranche-sur-Mer, Monaco, and any other locations along the Côte d’Azur. Parking is at the shopping centre just a couple of blocks away where you can also find a variety of shops, groceries, patisseries, and Nicholas - the local wine merchant. In front of the shopping centre are the trams that go to Old Town and the Promenade. The neighbourhood has a variety of restaurants as well as the Monoprix where you can easily pick up some tasty antipasto, salads and seafood to bring back to the apartment. We enjoyed a very generous breakfast on the terrace downstairs that was provided and cooked by Emma and Corina. The muesli was delicious with yoghurt and strawberries. The basket of baguette, croissant, pain-au-chocolate was so nice. Scrambled eggs were so creamy, moist and delicious! Emmas adds some Herbs de Provence, Corina adds basil. Both were so good! The Lamartine apartment - I picked this one because I loved the colours in the living room (that velvet couch, gorgeous floral pillows!) , the kingsize bed (very comfortable! I can suffer back aches, but never had one here) and the little terrace we could sit on to have a drink at night after our day of touring Nice and various cities on the beautiful coast. The warm hospitality, efficient service and generous spirits that we experienced made us feel very much at home. Thanks to Julien, Emma and Corina for making our stay so memorable.

I only stayed one night there, but everything was ok. The studio was clean with all the necessary amenities. Friendly staff at the reception.

Заезжали в отель после 20 часов, когда в отеле уже не работала стойка регистрации. За пять дней до прибытия написали в отель письмо, переведенное на французский через яндекс-переводчик, с просьбой пояснить как проходит процесс заселения в таком случае. Через пару дней получили ответ, что в день приезда нам пришлют письмо с подробной инструкцией на этот счет. В день заезда примерно за шесть часов до планируемого прибытия напомнили о себе и написали еще одно письмо, на которое получили ответ через пару часов где был расписан алгоритм действий. Заселились без эксцессов. В отзывах было много негативных моментов с работой магнитных замков на дверях, но на первом этаже, где нам достался номер, стоят новые двери с обычными замками, которые запираются на ключ. Вместо балкона в номерах на первом этаже есть выход прямо на стоянку при отеле. Из техники в номере были: чайник, капельная кофемашина, тостер, плита с двумя комфорками, мини-посудомойка (порой очень шумная, поэтому включать ее на ночь не рекомендуем), микроволновка, телевизор и холодильник. В ванной комнате - фен. Кондиционер, когда заселялись, работал на обогрев, в номере было +24 градуса при температуре на улице +12. Ванная комната просторная, но с нюансами: вода из душа льется прямо на пол и уходит через трап в слив, как следствие всегда много брызгов. Чтобы убрать лишнюю воду с кпфеля в ванной есть швабра с водосгоном. Кровати узковаты, но нам, в принципе, площади хватало. Матрасы как практически везде во Франции жесткие, белье чистое. Розеток в номере достаточно, есть два шкафа, пара полок, большой стол, за которым можно ужинать вчетвером. В целом - отличный бюджетный вариант для каникул на Лазурном побережье Франции.

OK, so first of all I would say this property is one step up from a back packers. It's not bad. But it's just not great. The room was OK. Kind of small with a very average bathroom. Unfortunately out air conditioning stopped working in the middle of the night which ****** big time. The staff were friendly enough and the facilities at the property were fine. There was free wifi and a pool that we didn't use. There was a laundry that cost 2 EUR for drying and 5 EUR for the washing machine. A little steap. The location was OK. Pretty close to a tram station but it's a decent walk to the beach. I would say quality let this place down but it got the job done for a night.

The hotel is in an excellent location, fast connection with transport, every part of Nice can be visited on foot, the Promenade is just across the street. It can be reached very quickly and easily by tram. Spacious rooms, kitchen and toilet fully equipped. The description of the offer is realistic. WiFi excellent. Friendly staff, willing to help. We will be back for sure. All recommendations!
