Hotel 2 Bintang di Nice

Bonjour juste un petit mal entendu dans la chambre il y avait des cafards je trouve grave pour le prix proposé par l'hôtel premiere classe promenade des anglais j'ai était obligé de tué les cafards car ça m'a empêché de dormir. Donc j'ai passé une mauvaise nuit d'hôtel. Merci de votre compréhension cordialement.

The room was clean and spacious with not many amenities or facilities. The bed was probably the worst I’ve experienced. They bottom sheets were small and kept coming. We would up waking up on top of some cheap protective material they had covering the mattress, all creased up and sticky. Service was friendly and spoke quite good English. The position was okay. Close to a shopping mall but not too close to anything else.

La posizione è eccellente ma bisogna avere chiari alcuni aspetti: le dimensioni di talune camere sono davvero minimal ...noi siamo stati 7 notti in una tripla ma non avevamo lo spazio per aprire le valigie, per mettere in armadio i vestiti, neanche per appoggiare le cose in bagno. Nessuna mensola, appendi abiti esterni. Se fate il bagno non avrete nessun posto dove poter stendere il costume, un asciugamano da spiaggia. La pulizia della stanza adeguata; purtroppo la puzza di muffa e di chiuso della zona scale è tremenda. L'ascensore è troppo piccolo e pare precario; io sono un po' claustrofobica e ho fatto fatica. Il personale poco comunicativo e disinteressato ad essere gentile; per fortuna la tirocinante invece è stata gradevole e disponibile. Visti i prezzi esageratamente alti questa sistemazione era abbordabile. Ottima l'idea del frigo a disposizione per metterci il proprio cibo/bibite fresche. Quindi se cercate un posto non troppo costoso e in posizione eccellente per la Promenade des Anglais e tutte le zone da visitare di Nizza questo va benissimo...dovrete dare non troppa importanza a quanto vi ho segnalato

hotel in an excellent location, just a few minutes from the train station and the main street.It is close to the promenade and has an excellent connection with the airport.Rooms are cleaned daily.wifi is terrible and I think it's in the migrant area, so I don't know how safe it is at night

Excellent location near Airport. Great walk to prominade de Anglaise. The staff were super helpful and friendly . Breakfast was plentiful, all fresh. Would definitely stay again.

Centrally located hotel with friendly staff. Stayed room only. Biggest problem is the noise, both internal and external. Zero soundproofing. I was in a street-facing room so my sleep was seriously curtailed by general traffic, bin collection trucks and revving, noisy motorcycles. On the first night, such was the noise level from the flushing toilet, running taps, and the shower from the adjoining room that I actually thought somebody had invaded my own bathroom. The occupants decided to have a conference on a couple of nights til after 3 am and it was clearly audible through the paper-thin walls. Room was probably too small for the double bed but the layout was fine. Advertised WiFi was useless. Two-person lift and great air conditioning, which was very welcome in the 35 degree Nice heat. CNN was the only English language channel I could find. Despite the few positives, I wouldn't return. A holiday for me entails restful sleep and this hotel didn't deliver.

I only stayed one night there, but everything was ok. The studio was clean with all the necessary amenities. Friendly staff at the reception.

The hotel is located one block away from the beach and right in front of a Tramway station, which is very good, since you probably will have to take the tramway (or walk around 20-30 min) to get into the restaurants and the old town. This tramway line is the one that gets into the airport and on the turistical points. Trip offered a category of room that, according to the hotel staff, does not exist on the hotel (triple bed). I was traveling with a friend and we didn't want to share the same bed. First, staff didn't want to change our room saying they were complete. After insisting, they found another room with 2 beds, but the AC didn't work fine on this new room. After the check-in, the staff member forgot to give my passport back. When I asked for it, he said that ”he wanted to keep seeing my picture because I was very pretty” 🙄. Unecessary, embarassing and not funny at all. Rooms are comfortable enough and correct for a budget hotel.

Hotel was basic but staff were amazing, they couldnt be more helpful! Whatever we asked they obliged. There was no AC at the hotel so the staff provided us extra fans, and let us keep the iron and hairdryer for the duration of our stay as they werent normally left in the room :)

My wife and I are on our honeymoon, during which we are staying in many places in France and Italy. We were very impressed with the reception we received by the woman at the front desk, and everyone has been incredibly nice to us. This is a big surprise as people have generally been very rude to us during this trip so far. We love the Matisse art on the walls of the staircase and the room is decorated beautifully. Unfortunately after settling into the room, we realized the air conditioner was not operational and the water pressure in the shower was so low that we couldn’t have proper showers. We tried to get past these issues but the room became way too hot overnight and we were unable to get a good sleep. The next morning we received an email from the hotel asking how our stay was going. I mentioned these issues and they called our room within 15 minutes and advised us they would upgrade us in the next hour to a superior room. This was a much better resolution than we expected and we are incredibly pleased. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an affordable stay in Nice, and to anyone who is hoping to be treated as a paying customer should be treated (unfortunately not a luxury you will find throughout most of France). The rooms also have fridges, which is not something we’ve seen yet during our trip. This is really helpful as we prefer to bring groceries back to our room instead of significantly overpaying at restaurants. The deal they have with the parking lot nearby is great as well, since every place we’ve been thus far has completely shaken us down for parking. The views of the cathedral next door are beautiful too. Beds and pillows are comfortable and the room was nice and clean. Highly recommended!
