The Windsor is a bit of a hidden gem. The rooms themselves are pretty basic although functional, but the location is great (an easy walk into old town but far enough away that it’s very quiet) and the garden is a little oasis in the middle of the city.

We had a fabulous couple of days in Nice. The room we stayed in at Windsor hotel could not be a four star rating, maybe other rooms in the same hotel. I think they give ********** customers the worst room they have. I have never experienced sleeping on square pillows, they were like big cushions, so very uncomfortable. Room was very dated but they say it’s art and I am not convinced. We were not allowed to bring our food in from the outside to eat in the garden even though it was empty, lunch was over and too early for dinner business. Another thing we were uncomfortable was we have to leave our room key together with the safe key at the desk every time we leave the hotel. Room key I am ok with but the safe key I have trouble. Location is good everything is within walking distance. I don’t think I would come back to this hotel.

Rooms were great, super comfy bed, staff were beyond excellent, a lovely hidden garden to sit in the shade and relax. Easy walking distance to everything you need. All in all a lovely place to stay.

Great location between the city Center(shopping) and the beach, just a few minutes walk. The staff where super polite and helpfull. The hotell garden is beautifull with a swimmingpool and jungle trees and palms.
Our room was great, with a little terrasse to the garden. The houseceeper cleaned the room perfekt every day.
The minus sides: The sound isolation between the rooms, could hear the neighbors when takling LOUD. The breakfast should have more selection for the price you pay. The pool need some oppgrades on the tiles.
All in all a great stay. And i can recommend a stay at the hotel!

This property is cute and quaint but has some issues.
The staff were lovely and AC is good but overall the place is a bit shabby.
The pool which was the reason I booked it is not sunny often also the loungers are in a sad gated off area and so if you thought about sunbathing by the pool it’s not really the experience you might want.
In my room it smelled faintly of sewage at times. It was also noisy and I could hear other guests.
Also for a four star hotel I expect basic toiletries not an all in one shampoo/ body wash. Overall this was not a 4 star experience
