They were renovating during the off-season, so there was a noticeable smell. However, the facilities and service were absolutely top-notch, and English communication was seamless.

All the staff are unfriendly, unhelpful and bad attitude. Horrible experience. I wouldn’t recommend to my friend and family even the view from the room is really good. I believe can find other similar hotel.

The location is good, the facilities are average, the room is small, the only thing worth it is the sea view and breakfast, the worst is the bathtub drain there are bugs, I wash down one at night, the next morning when I wake up and I find another.

Environment: Each room has a small balcony with a view of the blue sea, which is indeed beautiful. However, on my first night, I stayed in room number 12 on the first floor, and there was a strong smell of paint that even caused an allergic reaction. After communicating with the front desk, I was moved to room number 44 on the fourth floor. The room was smaller, but at least there was no odor! (My first night was truly unforgettable; the stench made me extremely irritable, and I woke up with a very dry throat.) Service: I had seen previous reviews mention credit card issues, so I was cautious. During check-in, the front desk staff pretended to be busy, memorized my card's security code, and then immediately received a text message about a charge. I was confused and asked them to confirm; they said it was a guarantee, but only one euro was deducted (super strange!). Back in my room, I was alarmed and immediately locked my card for cardless payment (which turned out to be the right thing to do). After check-out, I received several text messages about failed charges because I had paid for the room through Ctrip! Facilities: I absolutely have to complain about the entrance step – it's very inconvenient, although the receptionist did help carry our large suitcases to the middle counter! But the most frustrating thing is the elevator; it's incredibly tiny. Two 28-inch suitcases took up almost two-thirds of the elevator, forcing us to crouch and squeeze our way up! This is my honest experience; I highly recommend leaving it at that.

We stayed here for the sea view. First of all, we had to wait until 3pm to enter. I checked in very early and on the first day, I was assigned the worst room on the first floor with a broken shower. There was no apology. The front desk said in a very normal and even proud tone that we could go to that room to wash up and let the platform coordinate with them to see if we could change the room. When I went back to get the room card, the front desk "explained" in a very serious tone why we were given this room because there were no rooms and we booked late. The attitude was serious. My friend and I stood at the front desk and listened to him as if we had done something wrong. The wifi password was too complicated for us, so I said I would connect later. After hearing what I said, the receptionist laughed with another receptionist next to me... I felt disrespectful and impolite, and the whole process was very embarrassing. What's so funny? In short, I have stayed in many hotels in various European cities. I have never encountered a situation where I felt uncomfortable with the front desk. The elevator is simply the worst hotel I have ever seen, comparable to domestic guesthouses. The room toilet is very old and poor. I was woken up many times in the morning by noises that seemed to be completely in my room. In addition, the unpleasant check-in and some trivial matters delayed my first day's trip for almost half a day. I strongly do not recommend it. I don't think this can be considered a normal standard four-star hotel.

This hotel is very popular on Xiaohongshu. The view from the balcony allows you to see both the sea and the city, but the room is very small and a bit depressing. Unfortunately, I was assigned an irregular room type this time. It's okay for staying 1-2 nights. You can climb up the Castle Hill next to the hotel and it's within walking distance to the old town of Nice, so the location is quite convenient.

This is a great hotel. Although the facilities are not so advanced, it is very clean. Nice is so beautiful on a sunny day. You can see the Bay of Angels from the room. The guy at the front desk is very gentle, and there are service staff to help with luggage. I will go there again.
