Stayed 3 nights: 2 adults + 2 kids The good: hot breakfast with many choices, including fresh pancake machine, hot oatmeal, eggs, bacon, yogurt, toast, cinnamon rolls, bananas/clementines and even soy milk. We loved the fresh pancakes! Breakfast area is bright as it's right at the front windows and staff kept the area well cleaned. Convenient location to Red Line Metro North Hollywood station. Room was spacious. TV had streaming option including YouTube. The not so good: Beds were very creaky -- whether you're sharing or sleeping alone, any movement resulted in loud creaks and I found the overall mattress very soft/sunken. Our room was on 5th floor facing Burbank Rd and there was very loud road noise -- sirens from police cars, early morning (5:45am) auto body shop machinery and general traffic. I understand the hotel can't control outside traffic but they could improve the window panes. Entryway light was very dim and bathroom light was time/motion-sensitive so it would shutoff while you're in the shower. When we checked in, our room had no bath towels. Luckily the front desk was able to send up towels within about 30 minutes and even brought them up warm. Was a little inconvenient as we checked in the evening and would have preferred to have everything ready right away.

I specifically wanted to let corporate and the hotel know that the young lady working at the breakfast buffet deserves extra recognition. The hotel has families going to Universal Studios much more than businessmen, so they are really hitting the breakfast buffet hard. She is very polite and was working very very hard every minute of the morning to keep the buffet stocked. Also, our check in lady was very nice and polite and explained the weird parking situation clearly. I am a Choice Hotels club member and booked as such and I am VERY disappointed that I was not sent a ”review your stay” email. I think it's very lame that you can't leave a review on the Choice Hotels web page. I don't think I believe their ”verified guest stay reviews.” I think maybe Choice Hotels only post the reviews they want to show. Therefore, I strongly suggest you continue to use TripAdvisor to read reviews of hotels. Our stay was just fine as a launch place for our day at Universal Studios. I hope the buffet lady receives some proper praise for doing her job so well.

The location was okay the room was clean remote to tv barely worked had to get super close to the tv to use it my son couldn’t hook up his Xbox it was to much noise and banging barely slept didn’t know it was a deposit until I checked it but I was able to get it back once I checked out I couldn’t bring my son’s bike so I had to put it around the corner came back and someone stole his seat smh

Ein gutes Hotel mit einem eigenen Shuttle Service zu den Universal Studios. Das Hotel liegt neben den Highway und ist etwas laut. Auch wird die Barmusik um 8.15 aufgedreht was etwas störend ist. Das Frühstück ist für amerikanische Buffets Ok.
