I can’t begin to explain how perfect this trip was! The views, the staff, the beds/rooms, the food and speciality cocktails, and the yoga were all just perfect! The staff all were so kind and friendly. The culinary experience was better than food I have had in 5 star resorts around the world. And our yoga teacher was so educated in healing the body in easy and thoughtful moves. We hope we can return again in the coming years. We feel like we found a hidden treasure! We did happen to be there in low season so we were blessed to have a lot of quiet time.

Amazing place - wonderful staff, gourmet food, beautiful views. The staff made us feel so welcome. The hotel is elegant in an understated chic kind of way. Unique location. We saw wild monkeys from our room, and some other wild life. We are definitely going back in the future.

Our experience couldn’t be better. The hotel is great but what really makes the difference is the staff. They are extremely friendly, helpful and always with a great smile on their faces! Special thanks to the concierge Jeffrey that really stood out with the service provided and help through our stay.

I hate to give away this hidden gem in Nosara! The property & staff leave no details out… from the simple check in process with a welcome cocktail & a beautiful view, to the vibrant flowers throughout the property, to the owner coming by our table at dinner to address us by name, to the incredible picnic baskets they prepared for our catamaran sail, I could go on and on. Their attention to detail is rare and priceless. And the customer service from the staff (Juan Carlos, in particular) makes you feel like royalty. The rooms are beautiful - views of the jungle & ocean, secluded and quaint. The restaurant serves exceptional food & drinks, and the new Jungle Lounge is a great place to watch American football (if you need your fix). We were skeptical of where we were staying (never haven been here before) with our rather long transfer from the airport, but the property is worth every second of the drive! Once we arrived, the staff took over and we immediately relaxed. It was our favorite spot in Costa Rica so far, and we can’t wait to return. My only advice is to allow yourself to disconnect and truly enjoy the Pura Vida lifestyle at the resort… you won’t regret it!

Had the wedding of my daughter there. Even though it was the raniny season, the experience far exeeded our expectations. The food, the hospotality and the view all added to the experience of a lifetime. We will be going back in he future to this amaziong place

We stayed here for our honeymoon in August 2024. The service was incredible and probably the best part of our stay. Jeffery was the kindest and most helpful concierge I have ever met. The food at the restaurant on property was outstanding - we are still talking about the burger they serve during lunch. We rented a golf cart to get into town during our stay - the roads are so bumpy that if we went back we would probably rent an atv instead! The rooms were gorgeous and simple and had amazing views. We had the best, most relaxing time!

I don’t even know where to begin. Tierra was absolutely incredible through and through! It was a very intimate experience, all the workers would remember your name, face, food preferences, and go above and beyond to reserve places for you to go to and order transportation. The service was amazing and the gastronomy was incredible. The Yo Queiro Casar dessert is an absolute must. The bedroom was so beautiful and serene, and I have truly never slept on such a comfortable bed or showered in a shower with such an incredible view. Would absolutely come back!

The staff was BEYOND kind, helpful, friendly, and dedicated. The location/facility was gorgeous with great food, rooms, and views. This was truly a nice boutique hotel that is 10 min drive from the beach. Expect some heat/humidity and bugs in the bathroom since it is an indoor/outdoor room. I didn't notice any bugs in the main room since we kept the bathroom door closed at all times. I believe the price was definitely on the higher side (compared to the airbnbs we had on other legs of the trip), but that is something I agreed to so I can't really complain. I do wish there was a small fridge in the rooms to keep drinks and snacks.

All around excellence! Visiting Costa Rica in general is so wonderful because as a tourist you are made to feel welcome. Tierra Magnifica is no exception. The service is top notch at Tierra Magnifica. The beauty of the hotel and its surroundings is incredible. From the property you can hear and see howler monkeys and many types of birds. From the pool deck and restaurant there are breathtaking views of Playa Guiones. The Huacas Restaurant on property was delicious and was a great experience for breakfast and dinner.
