Very convenient location from the central station, just take the lift from the platform down to the passage underneath, one way to the hotel and another way to the shopping mall. Stay away from the busy old town but can walk their in 10 minutes. Improvement on the instruction to the hotel from the cental station : direct the customers to take the lift at the end of the platform, after reaching the passage underneath, go towards the larger numbers of platform and the exit for the hotel will be there. When we arrived at the station, there were so many people going up and down and no indication for lifts, maybe in German!

Hotel is opposite the train station. It’s really convenient and easily accessible. Room was a little small though but enough for a solo traveller like me. There are also a fridge and safe, so that’s great.

Lage ist gut, Personal sehr zuvorkommend, Die Zimmer an sich auch nicht schlecht, nur die eine Zudecke war schon mehr als unzumutbar... Definitiv verbesserungswürdig!

酒店就在火車站邊上. 很方便. 雖然面對火車站, 但隔音效果做得很好, 關上窗就沒有嘈雜聲音. 酒店沒有空調, 夏天入住會感覺有點熱, 但有風扇提供.衛生間比較寬敞, 房間整體衛生環境很好. 服務員態度也很好, 大堂有冰水提供消暑. 唯獨wi-Fi 訊號比較弱. 但整體感覺還是不錯的.下次到這裡也會選擇入住.

Gutes Stadthotel direkt am Hauptbahnhof. Das Konzept ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und die Betten bieten einen guten Schlafkomfort. Das Frühstücksbüffet lässt nichts vermissen und der Kaffee ist auch gut. Ideal bei Anreise mit der Bahn, Parkmöglichkeiten sind sehr begrenzt. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist okay.

I arrive late at the hotel after a 10 hour drive and am greeted by the most rude receptionist! Christian was so inappropriate and in such a bad mood that I would have left again if I could! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, also the room was not clean, there were long hairs in the sink and the glass in the bathroom was dirty.

The location is both bad and good; too close to railway line and traffic for comfort but convenient when traveling. The hotel itself has a rather cumbersome layout since it consists of 3 (or 2, I'm not sure) different but connected buildings which makes finding your rooms a bit f a challenge. It is also in need of some upgrading. Rooms are ok but not very charming. Breakfast was a bit of a disappointment; the famous bratwurst was lacking 2 out of 3 mornings and the food selection was limited. That was the negatives, then the positives; very helpful staff, high hygienic standard, easy check-in/out, quick taxi service and an absolute decent restaurant. The place has little charm but it works. Finally, the cost was Eur 255 Including breakfast) per night which I feel is really too high for a hotel this standard but it was during the IWA exhibition when prices tend to rise to the unacceptable levels.

Good location for almost everything, customer friendly, good breakfast, reasonable price.

A lovely clean hotel, it had all we needed for our stay, also very thoughtfully quipt. The breakfast was delicious. AC available as it was hot outside. Very friendly staff and it's suited in beautiful town walking distance to the stunning Laon cathedral. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

Overall a good hotel. Only gripes were the bed mattress (springs could be felt) and no aircon in rooms (although a fan appeared on last day of stay). Staff were very helpful and couldn't have been more pleasant.

The receptionist Nina L. was very rude. I stayed there for two nights and every exchange with her was unpleasant. I wouldn’t book a room there again.

Good value and nice hotel close to main train station and old city. Blackout blinds were great, bed comfortable and nicely decorated. Staff friendly and helpful, although bar staff not very responsive or to hand. Pool nice but sauna not on.
