To celebrate my partner's birthday she wanted to go to Twin Cove because of their promo for day tours. Well, my first comment is to make sure you take your mountaineering equipment with you as the car park is at street level but to get up to the resort you need to climb many many many steps. Yes, you can drive up to offload but the access is by a 10ft wide road. If it is wet then they did not recommend it as the roadway is steep and slippery. Then once in your small P2000 Kubo per day (hut) you can unpack your food and try to keep the 6 stray cats from stealing it or the flies from poisoning it. Make sure you take covers for the food. Then Karaoke is available in another large Kubo but when we went to have a sing at P5 a song we got chased out because you cannot take drinks in there??????? It was not until I asked for the manager to explain why I was told the manager was not available. As the day drew on and the night came, in the Kubo there was a light but at the cost, we were paying I would have thought there would be a fan but NO nor could I see an electrical outlet. I could go on but suffice to say I would never go there again. My idea of a good resort is where the staff are helpful polite and considerate. Just arriving at the entrance gives you an idea. No welcome but an interrogation as to who what etc and a band to wear to ensure you have paid. Sorry but I am one of those guys who likes to be made welcome
