Hotel terbaik di Bandaraya Olongapo

On checking in for 3 days I paid for my room cash up front and was shown my room. A few hours later received a text to say the room I was given was more expensive and I could either pay the difference or leave. After an argument I opted to pay the diff. but despite all the credit card signs on the counter the receptionist could not accept my card as she did not know how to operate the machine. I could not connect to the internet and was told if I looked on my key tag the password was there. However they soon discovered they had put the wrong password on my key. That night I found the new bedside lamp did not work, nor could I open the safe which was locked. The website stated tea and coffee were provided in the room, there was none, it also mentioned a bed cover or duvet, yet my bed had a single thin sheet. the bar fridge had a list of drink prices taped to the door, but was empty. The glass window was smashed and the broken glass held together with sticky tape (Picture provided !) On leaving I was told I did not need to pay the difference on the room !!

Went on a quick trip before the peak of people for holy week break. Peaceful and not chaotic ad there were less people. The room we booked was by the pool. It was spacious. The pool was filled with people during afternoon but it was not so noisy in our room. You will hear people in the pool but not so clear and you can still have a good nap time. We went here with my 2 yo, btw. The place is almost at the end, if not the end, of the “long beach”. So, if you’re planning to have other side trips in Subic, manage your time well. You cannot bring in food and drinks, but we are allowed to have our daughter’s snacks and own water. Their food were also good and good for sharing. We liked their pancit. They have complimentary bottled water for the max number of person per room, though ours was not given upfront, we have to asked for it in the reception. They said it was forgotten when they cleaned the room. They provided robes, towels and tissue paper. Other than that, no other toiletries provided like sanitary kits or dental kits which usual hotel by its kind provide. The shampoo and body wash were not even filled. I don’t see it as a 4-star hotel as describe here, probably 3 will do. We always have to asked for something that should at least be in the room. Our room has separate toilet and shower area. Shower area doesn’t have door, just curtain. It does not have a tub, but they provided us pail when we asked coz its kinda hard to bathe a toddler with just shower given that it only have a curtain before your bed. We do not want to sleep in wet bed. 😂 The bed was comfy and good to sleep with. The pool water is refreshing, cold but not so cold. The baby side of the pool has warm water due to direct sunlight. It has a small beach area. Not really swimming friendly as there was a big boat parked at the side aside from the gray platform where the motor boat was parked on the other side. There were people that will offer you different activities like island hoping, jet ski, etc. Overall, we still have a comfy stay and good food. The staffs were courteous and nice too.

I have eaten at dozens of locations throughout the Philippines. And sad to say, the majority fall short when it comes to the quality of food and service. We have dined at Treasure Island dozens of times for the past 6 months and on every occasion, we walked away very satisfied. I now find myself judging other establishments using Treasure Island as a benchmark. Not even the restaurant at my private golf course club house could hold a candle to Treasure Island. One of the crucial success factors is “on-site” owner management. The owner of TI devotes a significant portion of his time at the restaurant (and hotel). The pub part of the offer was outstanding, Magners on tap, real British pub atmosphere, best calamares I had in decades. Nice seats watching out on the bay. Could not be sny better in England. The rooms were rather soso, and I don’t mean the size or rudimentary furniture. There were small ants all over so I kept my suitcase closed. There was a loud fan in the room and a rattling a/c in the bathroom window. The shower fittings were adventurous and the water flow very low. And the rental requirements did not make me feel really welcome, read yourself to make your own opinion. I had a quick dip in the water in the morning and left a day early. In general, I would rather pay 10 bucks more and have a decent shower and a/c and no bugs in my room.

This is an excellent choice when visiting Subic/Baretto. Alan, Gretchen and Martin are super welcoming, and push the boat out to make the place somewhere where everyone feels welcome; whether you are a single traveller, just having a quiet break, or a group looking to have a blast! Like many venues in Baretto, there’s a pool league that happens on a Tuesday and a Friday, giving ample opportunity to browse around, however Wednesdays has the best quiz in town, which is more of a “social gathering” where you can simply pitch up and ply your vast/limited knowledge in the hope of obtaining a few free drinks! There you will find Craig, who will instruct you in exploring the many aquatic delights of subic bay scuba wise, and the food and service is always guaranteed a smile too. Long established as having been well owned, well run and a great place for a few jars, you should definitely give this place a try when in the area.

My partner and I with our pet dog (shih tzu) tried to book a stay in this hotel as a walk-in guests. During that time it’s already past midnight, we already asked a couple of hotels around the area but unluckily most of them are fully booked or a hotel for quarantine only. We have no where to sleep, we’re both tired and out of gas during that time. Until we reached Subic Bay Peninsula, the concierge told us that they still have a slot for us but they don’t allow pet in thier hotel. We politely asked if she could ask her manager or anyone who’s in-charge for a consideration so that we could atleast just spend a night with our pet. She refused and with a heavy heart we left. It made us upset that she didn’t even made an extra effort to reach her superior just to ask for our request. We end up sleeping inside our car. I will not recommend this hotel to my family and friends because aside from their inconsiderate staff and most of all it’s not a pet friendy hotel. To the consierge lady who refused us, I hope you wont be in our same situation and please have some manners especially with your guest.

Location is good and budget friendly but other than that there is nothing nice about this hotel. No bottled water, no toiletries and no towels provided. We requested 2 towels and they provided us with a fee. Upon checkout they mentioned that there should be 4 towels, 2 that should have been in the room as complimentary and the 2 that we requested. Housekeeper confirmed he definitely placed 2 towels in the room but there weren't any. Towels looks like rags by the way. They let me go and didnt charge for the ”missing” rags aka towels but asked me to pay P100 for the supposedly additional towels. Which I later realised I shouldn't have paid since there should have been 2 complimentary towels in the first place which they missed to put in the room. The smell on the elevator is bad even in the room. Floor feels sticky and we saw a cockroach crawling around. Corridors are dark and some tiles were dislodged and uneven, we tripped a few times. Toilet bowl does not have a seat cover. Too bad I didn't take pictures. Better stay somewhere else. I should have read reviews from Tripadvisor and booked somewhere else. I relied on Agoda reviews which showed only the positive reviews hence ended up booking in this hotel.

Although we did not stay used facilities and restaurants, food great as always pizza a must runs and prawn fantastic. Also specials Swedish sausage great !!! Staff lovely some we known for years from Harley’s new ones great also … every time tried to book on Agoda sold out , limited rooms but do love this place …
