I was satisfied with my stay considering the price for the hotel. It gave me a good impression at first since it was clean and the common area looked presentable.
I got a small room with window and a futon. The sound insulation was not very good, but the hotel offered earplugs. The room was warm with the AC on even in the end of December. My biggest disappointment was the bathroom, as you don't get an access to a private sink on the floor. It was clean though and I never had to wait or line up or even see other people in there.
Location is good - it's very close to a subway station and not that far from downtown. You could even walk to
to Denden Town, it would take less than an hour. Keep in mind that this is not the safest area of Osaka. You might see some homeless people around. I didn't feel unsafe, but some solo travellers would.
Again, this is a safe and a very satisfactory option for those who want to save money.
