Such a great place to stay, the staff are so nice. They are very friendly and welcoming. Although, would be nice if there was atleast soap on the soap container provided in the shower.

Way Shack Hostel is in a fantastic location for visiting the whale sharks. If you speak to Ken at the hostel, he can help arrange the whale shark excursion, it cost me 500 pesos and was super easy to organize. That said, I’d recommend only a one-night stay here. We were disturbed both nights by heavy goods vehicles passing by the hostel late at night, which made it hard to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, aside from the whale shark activity, there’s not much else around the hostel to keep yourself entertained. A scooter is essential to travel to the local town for food or supplies. The hostel staff can help arrange a rental if you need one. On the plus side, the room was clean and equipped with air conditioning, which made it comfortable for a short stay. Overall, Way Shack Hostel is a practical and budget-friendly option for a quick stopover if you’re visiting the whale sharks, but it’s not ideal for a longer stay.

Perfect location right opposite the whale shark place and very close to Tumalog falls. It's clean, modern looking and Ken is a gem. He will help you get tickets, bring you to the waterfall and knows the public transport to continue your journey

This place is suitable for a one-day sleepover, it's very noisy to sleep, there are ants in the room Opposite the place where you swim with sharks

This is the best place to stop for the night and watch the sharks. Thanks to the hostel owner for helping with everything, getting in line at night, and we were the first to swim! Thank you very much!

Of course I will come again ken and his wife are very awesome and friendly. Ken skso manage tours to swim with the whale sharks and it’s very cheap compared to other agencies.

The guy at reception is very helpful, friendly and informative.. The room is small but it's ok.. No fan but aircon works fine.. Hot shower works fine too.. It's just a minute walk to whale watching..

Hostel is in a good location as it is only few minutes walk from the whale watching center. It has a nice decoration and Ken has been very helpful.

Отличный хостел, яркий, чистый. Очень близко к месту плавания с акуами. Кент очень помог с организацией экскурсии к акулам. Быстро, четко и слажено. Не пришлось долго стоять в очереди и затем ждать свой номер. Все прошло очень легко и быстро. Также помог с трансфером в соседний городок. Хороший хостел, рекомендую 👍🏼

Это супер отель такой яркий с новым ремонтом. Но самое главное это сотрудники люди очень добрые во всем помогают. Кент очень хороший парень забронировал нам очередь на экскурсию к акулам в 5 утра пошли за очередью. Затем вернулись и легли спать. В 6 часов наша очередь подошла вернулись к морю. Он договорился что в лодке были только ребята с нашего отеля 8 человек. Так же через него арендовали гоу про для съемки под водой. И ещё через гостиницу забронировали места на лодку на Бохол. Расположение отличное 1 минута пешком до места плаванья с окулами. В номере чисто, полотенца кипельно белое. Вообщем все понравилось.
