C-Hotels Burlington

Neat and comfortable and brilliantly situated for staters. Rooms are cosy and clean. We had breakfast every morning - a varied hot and cold selection to choose from. Very good coffee. Set us up for the day. But it was the staff that made the stay that more pleasant. A special thank you to Ellen, receptionist extraordinaire, a warm and smiley presence at hand to help and always overseeing. We recommend this hotel full heartily.

Had the pleasure of a two night stay and arrived late was worried needn’t have the professional on the desk soon booked me in . The room was small but beautifully decorated and spotless the facilities air con shower fridge etc were very good I couldn’t work the tea maker but probably my fault being a Luddite from Bolton. All in all a great stay would I stay again definitely but would book direct with the hotel to ensure I got the breakfast.

Very central hotel at the end of the main shopping street overlooking the marina. Everything in my room was spotlessly clean. The single room was small but fine. Nice view of the Harbour from my room 85 and a bit of noise from the road. My only complaint is that the single bed is a mattress inside a wooden frame and it was painful to get out over the frame as it was higher than the mattress. I believe the mattress should be higher. My legs are bruised after a few nights there. The breakfast was plentiful. Just missing Prosecco which some other hotels in Ostend offer on their buffet.

it is a standard hotel, and the rooms don't make you happy. it s all a bit outdated and worn out : the furniture , the walls,... (see picture of bed) bed comfort was ok. small tv in the room. Evrything was crammed in the room, nearly no space to walk (very small rooms - and we had the premium size) I guess you can say for the money paid, it is ok. bathroom very small, you can sit on the toilet and brush your teeth in the sink. all functional but again outdated feel. Nothing (no hooks) in bathroom to hang clothes while showering. location is good, start of the shopping street , close to the harbor and station, 10-15 min walk from the beach. staff was very friendly and helpfull wifi was ok breakfast was good all in all for the price paid (around 100 euro / night) , it s a good hotel, despites the small rooms giving you a very outdated feel. When all you have to do here is sleep and have breakast , than this is a good choice.

Emplacement : 5/5 rue commerçante en dessous de l’hôtel, monuments et restaurant à moins de 500 mètres, le top pour visiter la ville. Chambre : 4/5 très propre, très calme. Hôtel très propre. Pour le prix c’est très abordable et le rapport qualité prix est au rendez vous. Le seul point négatif est l’absence de parking.

2 kamers geboekt voor weekend van 21 juli, gedurende 1 nacht. Correcte incheck, kamer basic, aan de kleinere kant, goede matras. Bij het openen van een lade in de kast, nog etensresten van vorige verblijven gevonden (stuk stokbrood, aperitiefhapjes en sardienenblik) . Dochter heeft nauwelijks geslapen in kamer 84 op 8ste verdiep. Blijkt erboven een residentie te zijn die nachtelijke uren niet respecteert. Politie werd reeds door nachtwaker gebeld voor lawaai, was blijkbaar al de 3de maal deze week dat politietussenkomst werd aangevraagd. Tot 4u in de ochtend was er lawaai van de bovenbewoner (roepen, ruzie). Bij uitchecken beide opmerkingen doorgegeven aan receptionist, behalve "ik zal het doorgeven, mijn excuses" eerdere flauwe reactie. Ontbijt ok, basic. Wij zijn regelmatige C-hotel bezoeker, maar Burlington kon ons niet bekoren en zullen wij in de toekomst niet meer boeken. Was een verjaardagstraktatie voor de dochter die eigenlijk niet aan onze verwachtingen voldoet (gaan meestal naar Cocoon of Andromeda).
