Rohet Garh

Lovely hotel in a converted fort. We had a lovely room that looked like others we’d seen in palaces in India. The gardens were beautiful and the staff were excellent. The only disappointment was the buffet dinner which was expensive, not hot and not much choice, had we been advised it was a buffet we would not have chosen to have it

The Rohat Garh was a charming hotel, with the most beautiful garden courtyard and wonderful old fashioned rooms, giving you a taste of old Rajasthan. The team were all extremely helpful and attentive and the food very good. There was ample opportunity to enjoy the sunshine in luxury around the pool or in the garden, but we made the most of the excursions on offer. A 'boys' motorcycle excursion on Royal Enfield 350 'Bullets' were the undoubted highlight. Once we signed our lives away, off we went! A couple of hours on wonderful motorbikes on local roads and even the odd highway dodging the Indian traffic - Fantastic. For someone who hadn't ridden a motorbike for 35 years, it was great. For two 19yo boys, it was epic! A more gently sunset bicycle tour suited everyone evening, with a chance to see the local villages and some birds and wildlife, while a riding excursion the next morning was another way to see and experience the countryside, local town and wildlife. All in all, a great experience on our Indian adventure.

The location is remote away from jodhpur . The lake is nice but also a breeding ground for mosquitoes. The setting is frankly mediocre. Food is repetitive. internet is spotty or non existent. The showers have hot water for 3 mon before it gets cold-get used to really short showers. The management is rude

Where do I even start with. Right from booking until our entire journey this property and their staff left a mark behind. Memories for a lifetime is what we are carrying as we are leaving this property after a wonderful stay for 5 nights. Vimal has been the utmost helpful person right from helping with location, running around always and managing all their 3 properties. Never a frown always smiling and welcoming. This holds true for all the staff of Rohet Garh. Stumbled about this property via the rare website and can't thank them enough for these wonderful choices of property they have. A very personal touch added to every aspect right from the property, it's interiors, heritage and hospitality. Though we stayed in the Rohet Garh we had a chance to look around their other 2 properties - Rohet House and Mihir Garh. All of them are amazing, with great interiors. Story behind the interior of all the properties are it has been personally done by the owners wife who has got an elegant touch. It's got the right blend of Rajasthani culture and modernity. The owners have got no air, so grounded and we got a chance to spend sometime with the owner himself and their daughter in law as well. Very grounded people. Ishwar singh as well who manages the Rohet Garh property is very friendly and just like all the people there is their per Coco too. A beautiful black labrador aged 10 years is full of love and warmth. Chef oh how can I miss their kitchen team. Amazing food, magic in his hands, any cuisine you order you will be in for a treat. Very home made and top notch. A quaint place and very pretty. We stayed in one of the suites with a beautiful view and a private sir out area with a lake view. The room was very cozy and they all go out of the way to make it a memorable stay. If you are planning a trip to jodhpur then any of their property is the right choice. We also tried their shikhara dinner which is a private dinner in the wilderness jungle. You want to know what pampering is learned from these guys. They also arranged for us the jodhpur local sightseeing, jawai leopard safari.i can go on and on but let me try to stop myself here. Be there for the experience and you will have no regret. Kudos to the entire team for putting such a great show together. Looking forward for more stay with them.

Rohet garh is a lovely property with an ambiance that exudes royalty, charm and tranquility. The service is impeccable, with staff going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and hassle-free stay. The food is absolutely delightful, with a special mention to the shikara dinner, which is a must-try for its unique and immersive experience. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and effortless, making the stay even more pleasant. However, for an enhanced experience, i’d recommend booking the garden or lake-view rooms. These offer serene vistas that complement the property’s overall allure. Unfortunately, the room we stayed in was located deeper inside the property and lacked any views, which slightly diminished the experience. Overall, rohet garh is a fantastic retreat for those seeking a blend of heritage and luxury. Highly recommended, especially with the right room choice!

Stayed in this beautiful heritage hotel with family for one night. The property is in the midst of Rohet village and is haven of tranquility with a great gateway of relaxing and enjoyment for family and couples .It is situated in the Pali District of Rajasthan but otherwise very near to Jodhpur .Beautifully decorated rooms, lovely pool , beautiful garden , well maintained trees and green plants , sweet chirping of the birds and amazing evening in the nice grass courtyard with twinkling lights and soothing traditional folk music provide immense pleasures. The hotel also boasts of an adjacent natural lake with an amazing scenic view as also of sighting of many birds. Great ambiance , very courteous staff and very delicious food make one's visit a memorable one. Mr Vimal Kaka, who is the general manager here, is an exceptionally dynamic and courteous person and ensures a very personal touch to each guest.Main chef Mr Ravi and one waiter, Mr Ganesh were equally very courteous and hospitable. Overall, it was a very relaxing and memorable stay .Must visit property if one is interested in absolute relaxing and tranquility . 😄😄
