Motel 6 Palm Desert, CA - Palm Springs Area

We were there for 3 nights for Indian Wells Tennis. It's 10 minutes away, so convenient. We just needed a place to sleep and shower.

I was not told there was an “every-three-days” housekeeping policy. I was there 2 nights and had expected at least clean towels. Rates were outrageous because of a large scale sports event .

I was actually not expecting anything from this property. It was totally overpriced. I understand the reason being the tennis tournament. The beds were too small.

If you can’t handle smoke, its not a place for you. Unbearable smell. Stuff was friendly and accommodating offering to choose other rooms.

If you are thinking luxury, this is not it. But if you want a place to rest your head for the night for a low price, it will definitely work. Staff is friendly and helpful and room was clean.

Filthy room, denied Handycap room. 2 people working check in desk, 1 sitting on her ass, one took forever to check in client. I was pre paid and had to wait 18 minutes get a room key

Using ******* for this location was difficult, manager had to approve. This made check over 45 mins. The young lady that helped was awesome at her job.

The mattress was in need of replacement. It had lumps and bumps the side had a dip the size of my body and the middle was really hard. Other than that it was a good stay.

Overall cleanliness was better than some of the higher end hotels I’ve stayed in. Most of the issues were minor cosmetic issues. The only thing I had a problem with was the noise—trains, planes and automobiles on the nearby freeway and a few inconsiderate neighbors, oh and the drive-thru next door made some night’s difficult to stay asleep. For the price, convenient location and overall niceness of the motel, it’s something you can get past.
