The dormitory is a private unit accommodating 8 people and is equipped with 2 toilets and 2 shower rooms. With a swimming pool right in front of the door and a bar/restaurant, it is a great place to relax for a few days without having to go outside.

I originally booked a room on the second floor. After checking in, unpacking my luggage, and getting ready to go out for dinner, I discovered the door lock was broken. It took an hour to fix, but they couldn't, so they upgraded me to a first-floor room. The waiting time was a bit long. The picture is of the second-floor room. The advantage of the first-floor room is direct access to the pool from the balcony, and the floor-to-ceiling windows provide excellent natural light. The downside is that since people are in the pool during the day, it's not convenient to have the curtains fully open, and there are no sheer curtains. So, if you want the room to be bright during the day but don't want to be seen, you can only open the curtains halfway. On the day I checked in, the railing on the second floor had just been painted with black paint. There were no warning signs placed while the paint was still wet. I leaned on the railing for a moment and got paint on my clothes before realizing it wasn't dry. After the hotel found out, besides apologizing, they didn't proactively offer any compensation, though I didn't ask for any either. The room didn't provide slippers, toothbrushes, or bottled water. Only shampoo, shower gel, and hand soap were available, and they had a strange smell. There's a shared water dispenser in the hallway, but I didn't dare to use it because in the late hours of the night, many flying ants would gather in the hallway, attracting geckos and frogs to eat them. So, I was a bit concerned about the hygiene of the outdoor water dispenser. After 12 AM, I tried to avoid opening the room door, as flying ants would swarm in. Fortunately, the door sealing was very good, and as long as I didn't open the door, the ants couldn't get in. In the morning, I could see many fallen ant wings on the ground, but they were always cleaned up promptly, which was good. The bathroom had two bath towels and one floor towel, which is normal, but only one hand towel, which was a bit odd. There was no hot water at the sink. There was hot water for showering, but it wasn't very hot. I stayed for 8 days, and only on the last day was the shower water hot enough. The water quality was mediocre; it was hard water, which made the showerhead difficult to use because many of the nozzles were clogged with limescale. The drain in the shower stall was very slow, so the water basically overflowed after a shower. Also, the glass partition in the shower was only half-sized, so water would splash out when showering. Non-chain local hotels in Southeast Asian countries often have a common problem: they like to use fabric softener to wash bed linens and towels. After washing, the sheets aren't breathable, and the towels aren't absorbent. Not using fabric softener for laundry should be common sense in the hotel industry, but most local hotels in Southeast Asia don't seem to have this awareness. This hotel, predictably, also had this issue. Of course, this might also be because the local water quality is too hard, necessitating the use of fabric softener. Wifi was terrible. There was basically no WiFi signal on the second floor, and on the first floor, while there was a signal, the speed was very slow, with downloads and uploads generally not exceeding 20 Mbps, and frequent disconnections and lags. WiFi did not support IPv6. However, the 5G signal at this hotel was excellent. The Globe 1-month 80 GB SIM card I bought had very fast 5G speeds, with downloads reaching up to 300 Mbps and uploads around 40 Mbps, and it supported IPv6. When staying at this hotel, it's essential to have a high-speed data card, as the WiFi is completely unreliable. I used over 40 GB in 8 days. The 1 GB Kolet data card provided by Philippine Airlines in the 'Manage My Booking' section of their website was also useless; its IP was in the UK, and it was incredibly slow, even slower than using international roaming with a Chinese mobile card. The hotel doesn't clean rooms daily by default. You have to hang the 'Please Clean' sign on the door for it to be cleaned, which is different from other hotels. The front desk isn't staffed 24 hours a day. This isn't necessarily a drawback, just something to note. It could be problematic if you need to check out or lose your room card during unstaffed hours. The breakfast variety and environment were mediocre. I remember seeing siomai, local sausages, watermelon, plain rice, sliced bread, non-freshly squeezed juice, etc. I recommend eating breakfast outside. The room size was quite large and had a ceiling fan. The air conditioner in my room was inverter-type, cooled very well, and was quiet. There was a desk and chair in the room, perfect for using a laptop. There was no desk lamp, so it might not be suitable for reading. The hotel staff were very friendly and warned that some tiles in the swimming pool had sharp edges that could cut the skin.

The price is reasonable, and there are two pools (open 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.). The rooms are also clean! Since there's a forest behind the building where the guest rooms are located, you might encounter some bugs. The staff are friendly.

The location isn't very close to Alona, which makes dining inconvenient. You'll need to rent a scooter, and the front desk's rental prices aren't cheap; there are no discounts even for multiple days, so it's not as good a deal as renting from outside. The hotel is also located down a small, dark alley off the main road, with no streetlights at night.

Cleanliness - good. They can prolly have 2-3 restroom check to ensure cleanliness all the time in the shared rooms. Location - good. Not far at all from the primary hangout spots. Service - Excellent. All staff members I interacted with are awesome! The owner of this place is so lucky to have an amazing group here. Amenities - good. I hope they can keep the pool open until 12am. Others: I would often hangout and work in the dining area. Music being played and its volume need to be reviewed. The food is great here. I enjoyed them all. I stayed here for almost 2 weeks. Menu needs a revamp to have more options and present more variety.

This hostel is an excellent choice in Bohol! It's conveniently located near Alona Beach, just a 1.2km walk away. This area is a central hub for commercial activity on the island, making food, drinks, and entertainment easily accessible. The hostel's decor is uniquely themed, and the staff are incredibly warm and helpful. I especially loved how they've created an authentic Bohol/Philippine cultural atmosphere while still maintaining practicality.

100/10 We truly enjoyed our 4-day stay here. The staff were very accommodating, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit. The atmosphere of the place was peaceful and relaxing, making it a perfect escape from the busy and crowded areas of Panglao. Although it is a bit farther from the town center, it is still within walking distance. The resort also has a nice swimming pool, which we enjoyed during our stay. The room was clean and well-maintained, including the bathroom, which is something we always appreciate. The breakfast buffet was good, with a decent selection of food to start the day. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely come back in the future. Highly recommended!

For a budget hostel resort, I really couldn’t ask for more! The cleanliness and hygiene were much better than I expected, and they even provide complimentary shower gel and shampoo in the bathrooms, which is a very generous and convenient touch for travelers. Another major highlight was their communication system—the WhatsApp automated chatbot and online check-in made the whole process incredibly smooth and easy, while their manual chat support was always there to help with any specific inquiries. The location is incredibly practical. It's located within the standard island tour pickup zones, making exploration completely hassle-free. It’s also just about a 20-minute walk from Alona Beach, which I found perfect and convenient since I was attending a diving course there. Plus, right at the end of the hostel’s lane on the main road, there is a 7-Eleven, a cafe, and two Korean restaurants, so grabbing food and coffee is super easy. If you love meeting people, this is a great spot. During my stay, they hosted several free activities and performances in the common area, making it ideal for anyone looking to socialize. I highly recommend it for budget-conscious travelers!

We arrived at the hotel a bit late than our scheduled check-in time, but the staff was incredibly accommodating and made the process seamless. The receptionists were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room we were given was a Deluxe King, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. It was a fantastic deal! The breakfast included was delicious and reasonably priced. The hotel also offers a pool table where guests can enjoy playing billiards anytime. They have two pools as well, so there’s plenty of water fun to be had. There’s an ATM inside the hotel, and a guest kitchen where you can prepare your own meals. Overall, I had a wonderful time at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to my family. I’m already planning my next visit!

I had a great stay at Abraham Hostel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout my visit. The location is excellent—just a short walking distance from Alona Beach, making it very convenient for beach trips, restaurants, and nightlife. One of the highlights was the free breakfast, which offered a good variety of choices every day. The hostel also provides different activities and tour options, making it easy to explore the area and meet other travelers. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the hostel has a welcoming atmosphere that is very foreigner-friendly. Overall, Abraham Hostel offers great value, a convenient location, and excellent amenities. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Panglao.

The hostel is fully equipped, even with a swimming pool. The environment is clean and tidy, and there are many European and Chinese tourists. Free drinking water is provided. The staff can all communicate in English and are very friendly. The price is also affordable. It's not far from nearby travel agencies where you can book day tours. Cebu's scenery is beautiful...
