First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! The large round mirror was supposed to light up with a touch switch but, we never got it to work. I really liked this hotel. It met my expectations and I would be happy to stay here again. The staff were friendly and it was very quiet. The room was quite small but this didn’t bother me. More than enough room for one person.

The location is close to Gare du nord which is very suitable for my trip. The hotel room is clean, just my room has quite a lot noise when people passby my room. Also , there is no box tissue in the room which was a bit surprised.

J’ai séjourné 3 nuits dans cet hôtel durant les vacances de la Toussaint pour une visite de Paris. À cette période le centre de la capitale étant hors de prix j’ai opté pour cet établissement. L’accueil est correct, discret. Les chambres sont de taille suffisante pour deux et la literie très bien malgré l’absence de vrai sommier ( planche de bois). L’hôtel était très calme pas de bruit de prêts qui claquent ou de personnes parlant fort, et l’insonorisation est parfaite avec un double vitrage qui permet l’absorption des bruits du périphérique pourtant tout proche. Depuis l’hôtel les transports : ligne 7 du métro, tram 3a et T9 sont à environ 5 mn à pied ce qui permet de rejoindre rapidement le centre de Paris. Un très tes bon rapport qualité / prix. Nous reviendrons sûrement !

The hotel is cozy and good, not in the very center, but near the station, all shops and restaurants are nearby, cleaning is excellent every day, although there were problems with the key, but it was always solved, the reception staff is very pleasant, smiling, we got a very pleasant experience from staying at this hotel, sound the insulation is bad but it didn’t bother us, the heating air conditioner worked perfectly every day in the room they added coffee and tea to us hair dryer shower water everything worked fine , a balcony overlooking the street what else do you need in Paris I advise . I don't expect luxury from a hostel, but I do expect cleanliness. On the surface the hostel appears clean. Most importantly, the bed sheets and mattress are clean. However, look beyond that and you'll see it's filthy and obviously never given a deep clean. Down the side of the lower bunk there is what must be months and months of rotten food, old socks, dirt and dust that has been allowed to collect. No wonder the room smells so musty and stuffy. My bunk had blood streaks from a squashed bug (and live mosquitoes flying about), as well as sticky finger prints all over the bed panels and window. Furthermore, the noise level is crazy. I understand on a Friday people want to party so the bar was blasting out music and the 1st floor rooms are not sound proof - I actually didn't mind that. What annoyed me was the fact that they were blasting music through the speakers in the 1st floor toilet/shower rooms. WHY?! This made the room and hallways even noisier. Its only saving grace is the location (and free wi-fi). It can feel a bit dodgy walking through there alone as a single woman at night, but so can any big city... The hostel is close to some great bars, restaurants, and tourist attractions (Père Lachaise Cemetery, for example). I'd recommend hiring a bike to get around - there's quite a few Vélib' bike stations a short walk away.

Great value hotel, room was basic but clean and beds were comfortable, room suited me and my son ideally. Booking was easy, check in was smooth and staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Surrounding area was a bit rough around flea Market but we didn't have any hassle

In my room the A\C didn't work, the wc room was so small that i couldn't fit in (i'm184 and very slim), the aeration system didn't work inside the bathroom and one light was flickering, the room was dirty and you could hear every single words that my room neighbours were saying, you could hear also every drop of piss they had. I went to the concierge and he Immediately changed my room with a smile, he did the right thing with the right attitude. The new room was better but still dirty (the cleaning lady skipped twice in a week the cleaning) and kind of outdated. The position of hotel is perfect but from my point of view the pricing is out of this world for this kind of structure. Thank you again to all the hotel staff for their kindness.

This hotel was great. The staff were super helpful and friendly. I asked lots of questions and they were more than happy to help. I felt welcomed and safe. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I will definitely use them again. Value for money and clean rooms. Very high standard and brilliant staff thank you.

We stayed in this hotel during our Paris vacation. Friendly staff, clean rooms and well served by the main means of transport(metro, bus etc) Very good breakfast with attention to food intolerances. Recommended and we hope to be guest again very soon.
